Just shallow questions that don’t really do the man’s mind justice. This was great. Good job Lex. 5.5K Mercer Hayes Mercer Hayes 2 weeks ago this was more interesting than anything on tv for the last decade!! thanks i just discovered Lex today ,knocked it right outa the park 18 Matthew W Matthew W 3 months ago Really appreciate how Elon thinks deeply to give a thoughtful answer 344 kc freeman kc freeman 1 month ago I've seen Elon get interviewed by alot of people, he is genuinely exited to talk to lex. You the man lex!👏 24 exileinrosedale exileinrosedale 3 months ago Lex - You have become my FAVORITE Interviewer EVER! Excellent work on shooting from the hip, challenging Elon like I have never seen or heard. God Bless you and thank you for YOUR hard work! 116 Kent Deusinger Kent Deusinger 1 month ago “Nobody could do anything more to improve the probability of success”, he speaks very highly of his team and that says a lot about him. 55 Brent Gilbert Brent Gilbert 5 months ago This is the best conversation between two robots that I’ve ever witnessed. 13K Chris Dock Chris Dock 2 months ago "If there's something that goes wrong with the vehicle, it's fundamentally my fault." That's what leadership looks like. Elon has his flaws, but that right there is why he has had success in solving so many hard problems. 186 Phillip Gregory Phillip Gregory 3 months ago "I dont care about optimism or pessimism.we're gonna get it done." Great quote 627 Benjamin Hall Benjamin Hall 1 month ago Hearing Elon talk about travelling to Mars and setting up a self sustaining city has got me thinking; travelling interplanetary is the equivalent to sailing across seas and oceans thousands of years ago to discover new lands. Back then many doubted is was ever possible to find other lands or to reach them but they were proven wrong by courageous and exploratory people. This obviously has had massive impacts on our civillisation. Now, we travel across the seas and oceans with ease and comfort. Ofcourse it's still dangerous but the improvements we've made is so astounding that travelling across oceans is not even recognised as a problem that we need to solve. I imagine it will be the same with space travel. We are witnessing the pioneering of space travel and I can see that in the hopefully near future people will look back on our perspectives on these maiden voyages into space and be amazed at how complex it was to travel interplanetary. They will be travelling across space like we travel across the ocean. 119 Cindy M. Cindy M. 2 months ago Two highly intelligent genius gentlemen. Such a super conversation! I’ve been watching both of your channels for a long time. I use to watch joe Rogan but, you are blunt and straightforward. well done!! 14 Brenden Brenden 5 months ago I respect and appreciate Elons moments of pause to think and respond the way he wants, but damn there’s so many times I thought the podcast froze 🤣🤣🤣❤️ 1.2K vina prasad vina prasad 3 months ago I have always loved this man (Elon)for his super intelligence & he’s fun and cares for humanity. 19 Shirley McAlpine_my healing journey Shirley McAlpine_my healing journey 1 month ago Two of my heroes in the same room! I find myself wanting to watch, to really listen very carefully, (I am very visual). This conversation was so enthralling and I actually understood most of it. I really appreciate how you approach your guests and that you give them the time they need to form the answers. It is refreshing! 8 Danny O'Brien Danny O'Brien 3 months ago Thanks Lex, great interview. Cheers to Elon for coming on too! 10 Roch Brz Roch Brz 5 months ago I love how Lex gives Elon time to think before answering the question, and that Elon takes time to think before answering. We need more of that. 834 Thrift Mine Thrift Mine 5 months ago 30 seconds in and I know this is gonna be a great episode. Thanks Lex!!! 189 David Babin David Babin 2 months ago Such an insightful podcast filled with so much knowledge. Very well done overall Lex this is best podcast I've heard yet. 10 Someone Out-there Someone Out-there 1 month ago Wow. Elon Musk may really be the most brilliant man I've ever heard. He knows these incredibly complex things and also understands how to lay much of it out so the common person will understand. 11 Wm N Wm N 1 month ago (edited) Once again, Lex delivers an awesome podcast! You could have named it Two Peeps In a Pod. Are you two related? Elon Musk is the man of the century, like a modern-day morally sound Einstein/superhero hybrid. You both are amazing! 2 Muse California Muse California 3 months ago I appreciated this conversation because it seems Lex sees beyond the surface sheen. Elon Musk is a real person, a human being who has aspirations and light and dark aspects to him personally and professionally. I wish more interviewers would stop fanning out over his money and genius for a second, and begin to speak to Elon on a more balanced, clear level so we can start a real conversation. 7 josué josué 1 month ago Fantastic Job Lex! I love all of your interviews, very well planned questions. With such an thoughtful response. I really dig the flow of the interviews. 2 Keith Remedy Keith Remedy 5 months ago Dare I say that this is easily Elon’s best interview by far. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that it’s Lex on the other side of the table. Lex, you are getting better & better at this too💪🏽 1.1K Zach S Zach S 3 months ago i love your interviews lex, the first podcast i saw you with was elon musk, and wow it blew me away to see someone my age discussing the things i worry about with a heavy hitter like elon musk. you are so inteligent and articulate as well as unbiased, YOU HAVE ME HOOKED KIND SIR, !!! now im going back to your first podcast and i intend to watch them all. im a schizophrenic, and these world issues keep me up at night, it sucks, but when i hear things from these experts moderated by you it gives me hope in our future as a human race, thank you and keep up the good work... thanks (SERIOUSLY) Zach, midwest, usa. 6 Michael Fargo Michael Fargo 3 months ago Thanks for the interview. Great interaction between the two of you. I've watched this video a few times. It still makes me think. Another way of saying what Elon iterates is: thinking simple is hard. Getting down to the component parts of a process to understand it in its simplicity is not simple. I wrote hardware interrupts in assembly language for a short time. Thinking simple is hard. Once you get there, it is simple and efficient. Thanks again and have fun!! 6 MadhuRangika MadhuRangika 3 months ago This podcast dissect Elon Musk'a thought process in a very raw manner! I am so much more informed now on the whole aspect of Elons work and the incredible advances still needed for man to get to Mars and then even live there. Elon is a genius, there’s no doubt about it, and the endeavour he has taken on for humanity and himself is so exciting. I love that at times Elon takes his time to really think on a subject to answer it properly. Your interviews are so awesome, I just listened to your chat with the film maker Oliver Stone. Just love your Chanel. 😇 1 Greg Sheffer Greg Sheffer 1 month ago This guy is a treasure, I’m reluctant to put much faith in any one person but Elon seems to be the real deal. He has all the power and resources and seems to have a moral compass and personal objectives that are a 100% positive for humanity. Very rare combination. 33 Style Child Style Child 4 weeks ago Elon is my very favorite person to listen to. Thanks for having him on 1 Silva Balkanka Silva Balkanka 1 month ago Thank you Lex for this interview. Elon is, without doubt, the only person in the world who can keep me focused for 2h31 on so many subjects - among these some that would not have my interest in other conditions. It was very interesting. Thank you and “As always, don’t panic” #dogecoin to the mooooon ! ♥️ 1 Collin Mayrand Collin Mayrand 1 month ago Mr. Fridman, it is very special to see Elon so happy and excited about an interview. It's great to see. Elon often says that he is not in favor of extending human life expectancy too much because it would hinder the change of ideas and evolution. I find this point of view different and interesting. But on the other hand, the Tesla Bot and its artificial intelligence would have a life expectancy that could be really much longer.
