A record that may stand for a very long time. 2.1K Steven A. Steven A. 5 months ago Ray, Reggie, and Steph were monsters. Did you see how fast they climbed up the ranking? I am glad steph has been able to break the record for most 3 points in the nba. Even now Ray Allen, Reggie Miller are still monsters whom only curry could pass no one else from their era to this nba era TRUE LEGENDS 739 Jason Muska Jason Muska 5 months ago In my opinion the most incredible thing about watching movement of these stats was two people. One being the longevity of Dale Ellis. And then lastly the rise and dominance of Steph Curry from when he came on the scene to where he became number one. The rate at which he did so comparative to everybody else is insane. My estimation is that Steph Curry will end his career at 5,732 threes. 136 Dusan Djordjevic Dusan Djordjevic 5 months ago Stojaković with the Craotian flag? Come on, man! He fled from Craotia in early 90's because of the war and because he was Serb! He played under Serbian flag! 353 Abraham Miller Abraham Miller 5 months ago Most of the players in the top five were surpassed after their retirement.... but steph passed up Kyle Korver for 3 place while he was still playing, took a pause in 2019, and then proceeded to speed past Reggie Miller as if he wasn't the all- time leader just 8 years prior.... with approximately 7 years remaining on his contract!!🤯🤯 191 KEZZIE KEZZIE 5 months ago Vince Carter as a 3 point shooter is so overlooked by his dunker status. This is why i loved him so much. He has 2 incredibly polarizing skills 63 Lyle Stavast Lyle Stavast 3 days ago (edited) it's been fun watching Steph rocket up there and pass everyone I remember playing in the NBA... and knew a couple personally... I did not realize that Reggie Miller replaced Danny Ainge to slide up to 2nd and then take 1st... Danny was a tough player in a period where a lot of banging happened on the floor. There's really not much comparison between that 80's-90's range to today's game where the 3's rain as a priority... loved both periods btw, just different influences. 7 D T D T 4 months ago It would be great if you could include the progression of a player's carrer, in terms of years in the league, inside the horizontal bar. I think this would add another useful dimension. 7 Jessica Ann Jessica Ann 5 months ago What a neat chart, and the music made it so dramatic. Amazing to see Reggie, and than Ray and than finally Steph take over. They really are the leaders in this field. And man, when Steph's name finally popped up, he started skipping over names so fast. Would love to see you keep updating this as he's about to reach 3000! 27 Ana Laura Altamirano Ana Laura Altamirano 5 months ago Stephen Cu30y is the best! His persistance is showing great results Every trial counts. Hope that know he will enjoy every game without the pressure of reaching this number. 32 Reichen Clarence Sombilon Reichen Clarence Sombilon 6 months ago Stephen Curry has made 2,937 3pt. in 781 games played in his career in regular season. 235 Osmar Osmar 5 months ago Reggie Miller was ahead of his time. Only dude from the 80s to stay on the top 10 list. 140 MrZrazies MrZrazies 8 days ago Imagine back in 2003. Everyone be like no way anyone will break Reggie’s record. 9 rdmcabee rdmcabee 5 months ago Jason Kidd getting up there was impressive. He is known for not having a great shot. 46 ONEDAY ANOTHER EVO ONEDAY ANOTHER EVO 1 day ago In my opinion, out of all of them Ray Allen has the most beautiful jump shot. Mechanics are perfection. 1 Looking For A Name Looking For A Name 5 months ago Curry's record won't stand too long since, because of him, every kid comes into the league shooting three. Doesn't change the fact that he'll remain thee GOAT shooter, he's changed the game. 48 colton cyr colton cyr 4 months ago Can we just take in that Vince Carter, the best in game dunker, will probably stay top10 shooter threes. Many games in the 80s, you'd see teams take maybe 6, 12, 15 3 pointers all game, and I'm talking TOTAL for both teams.
