If so, would the privilege of seeing more dimension be a learned trait or is it innate (a trait/ability that you're born with)? 1 andy grey andy grey 1 year ago I would have loved, 'I feel now', given almost anything up to have had his thought process, his patience and open sence be a running theme in all of my teacher growing up! I wonder,is a line still one dimensional if you don't interrupt its progression using points?Adam. 4 llirbwerdnadivad llirbwerdnadivad 6 months ago So glad to finally know why a difference of one quark allows protons to have a charge while neutrons don't! :D 8 jeff tripp jeff tripp 1 year ago He is such an ego maniac, but in a good way! Amazing wealth of knowledge with directed purpose. Brian Gill Brian Gill 14 hours ago Concerning the red spot of Jupiter part (warming: I’m learning so please be patient if this is a dumb question): If Jupiter is 10x the size of earth and rotates once in 10 hours would it be 20x the rotational speed (or rather 28x) and not 2x the rotational speed? This is an honest question, apologies again if it’s obvious but it seems like if it’s that much larger it would be spinning much faster than 2x the speed. CharlesM1957 CharlesM1957 3 months ago When I was a child growing up in the 50s I saw a cartoon where a lab-coat scientist invented the "portable hole". I have been immersed in that concept ever since . Yes I know it was a cartoon with fictitious providence but it was basically the concept which interested me. I have always been curious about the existence of things that were difficult to explain despite their nature to exist in reality. I have witnessed in my life several instances for which I have no viable explanation and that has motivated me to seek science for the truth. Some things I fear we may never gain a foothold on but that will never stop us from trying as long as we are driven by curiosity . Anthony Wright Anthony Wright 1 year ago When he spoke of going to a coffee shop in Boston, I imagined myself walking on a sidewalk in Boston, noticing him, and wondering how I would react. Would I quietly glance, smile, and nod in polite recognition and move on? Would I stop him and tell him where I am from and ask him for a picture together? Would I offer to buy him a coffee for a conversation? Then I imagine how he may feel. Would he prefer not be accosted by a fan? Would he welcome the stranger? To what level does he enjoy celebrity. He is, quite frankly, the only celebrity I would care to meet. 15 V V 8 months ago Wow! I agree with the being flung out of atmosphere. Plus I once heard a theoretical physicist say "there's nothing I love more than talking about my work with someone who's trying to find everything I'm doing wrong". 12 Make Money Online Make Money Online 3 years ago (edited) What really grabbed me was the statement about how if all of the universe's matter met with it's anti-matter counterpart, and they met and annihilated, there would be only light remaining. This is homogenous with the experiments in which scientists created matter (and therefore anti-matter) with photons! Insane.
