It's the raw environment at sea with tough seamen and a viscous captain the crew must obey. It's a good story and you will want to watch Part 2. I'm sure it's a good film. Looks as it portraits the truth in history. But waking to these guys firing on seals. Then ,hooking and drawing them aboard , clubbing and slicing them open while still alive... that's kinda rough to wake to. I once went to a Co party were a dog was raised with a pig. That was grabbed in front of the dog . It was slautered for a BBQ. The dog was raised with that pig.
