Why I Eat 4 Eggs Daily and WHY YOU SHOULD TOO 2,415,768 viewsFeb 25, 2022 Dr. Eric Berg DC Once you check out these incredible benefits of eggs, you'll want to eat 4 eggs a day too! Eggs Increase Your Risk of Early Death from a Heart Attack: ▶️ https://youtu.be/YkoPpvtSVyo ▶️ https://youtu.be/RU8jn0kAmfk 0:00 Introduction: Why I eat 4 eggs daily 0:27 The nutrition in eggs 2:50 Free-range eggs vs. cage-free eggs vs. pasture-raised eggs 5:48 Egg benefits 10:45 How do you cook an egg to maximize nutrition? 11:34 Check out my video on the cholesterol in eggs! Today, I'm going to tell you why I eat four eggs a day and why you should do this too. The nutrition of an egg is determined by how the chicken is raised and by what it's fed. I recommend getting organic pasture-raised eggs. Getting your eggs from a farmer's market is a great idea or even raising your own chickens for eggs. It's important to note that I do not eat eggs for breakfast. I eat them for a late lunch because I fast breakfast. It's also important to consume the whole egg vs. only egg whites. Heating an egg can destroy some of the carotenoids. To maximize the nutrition of the eggs, it's great to have them poached or over-easy. If you like them scrambled, it's best to crack them inside of the pan and allow the whites to turn white before scrambling them. If you're a small person, you may want to consume one or two eggs a day. If you're a larger person, you may want to consume three or four. Health benefits of eggs: • Eggs are a great source of protein • Eggs contain choline • Eggs contain lecithin • Eggs have vitamin K2, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin A • Eggs are rich in omega-3 fatty acids • Eggs are loaded with B vitamins • Eggs have minerals and trace minerals • Eggs contain carotenoids Follow Me On Social Media: Facebook: https://bit.ly/FB-DrBerg Instagram: https://bit.ly/IG-DrBerg Anchor: https://bit.ly/Anchor-DrBerg TikTok: https://bit.ly/TikTok-DrBerg ADD YOUR SUCCESS STORY HERE: https://www.drberg.com/add-client-suc... Frederick Dunn Frederick Dunn 1 month ago Hello Dr. Eric, I'm so glad that you addressed the chicken egg in such great detail. I've run into people who claim they can taste the difference between brown shelled and white shelled eggs. It's purely the power of suggestion on the consumer's part. Free-foraging chicken eggs are truly extraordinary sources of premium nutrition. You did a fantastic job of explaining the differences, and I truly appreciate it. Thumbs up, wishing you all the best in poultry! I'm also happy that you addressed the feed differences. 218 TheZockerPhil TheZockerPhil 4 weeks ago My grandparents have chicken running around in the wild and whenever they give me eggs I can immediately tell the difference. Orion Star Orion Star 1 month ago Dr Berg, when i was a child, 40 plus years ago…my grandma had a hacienda down in Mexico and she of course had animals they consumed, and they planted corn, beans, many veggies, all natural, no pesticides,…. And my grandma fed them left over of our own food. They loved wet corned tortillas made into little pieces, rice, veggies, dry kernels just barely grinded…etc….the were also all day outside running a round…and they had a rooster in each chicken coup. The caws eat the corn husks, the grass and the dry cut cobs, the grass they mowed from the fields.. the goats eat all the leaves from the bushes that had thorns, and the grass from the lower lands of the hacienda…they very seldom had to buy anything to feed the animals, if you know what to do its not hard nor expensive to keep animals. They kept seeds to replant corn, beans….etc….you get everything from the plants themselves…thats how people before used to live… when they killed pig they kept all the fat for cooking, and use every piece of the animal…. If they killed a caw…they eat everything…and even used the skin, their intestine to make sausages, they, with the caw,s milk they made cheese, buttermilk, ….omg everything was so delicious….. 19 elie Deeb elie Deeb 1 month ago I eat 6 to 7 whole eggs everyday for the past 15 years and my parents the same Michael Williams Michael Williams 13 days ago Recently an Earth Fare opened near me, and their rotisserie chickens are much more pale in comparison to Walmart’s/Sam’s Club’s rotisserie chickens. Is this due to their chickens not having any dyes? I just assumed they just didn’t cook them as long because aesthetically, Earth Fare chickens don’t look as appealing. 1 SAGSTA SAGSTA 11 days ago I've stuck with organic free-range eggs for a while now, since I started to heave and throw up on standard eggs. As someone who raises chickens, I cannot overstate the benefits of not feeding your chickens at all. Rather it is best to provide them with a composting mass such as laeves and grass clippings on which they can forrage. This will provide them with warmth, essential mycelium, bugs and potentially worms. In return they will supply you with super rich compost. The most they require from you is water, a safe roosting spot and nesting boxes. Hope you find this useful. 95 drewcliff82 drewcliff82 1 month ago I love eggs so much. Rebekah Powers Rebekah Powers 2 weeks ago This is like crack for you’re chickens and then the chicken picture 😂,great video I was worried about the the cholesterol but still eat 3 eggs most days. Daniel Geci Daniel Geci 1 month ago (edited) I also eat 3-4 eggs per day with an avacado and siracha to be specific. I also eat about a 20+ garlic stuffed olives per day and most days some kind of gourd usually in the form of canned pumpkin puree. Those three things alone give me allot of the hard to get nutritional components on the daily. I feel like if you approach nutrition this way it's best. Find a base line of a few ingredients and recipes to get the harder to get micros and aminos etc. For example my olives, avacado and eggs, fish/ lean protein and gourds I eat every day assure no matter what else I eat that day that I got things like vitamin E,A,C magnesium, potassium, "healthy fat" mostly out of the way. I'll get more omega threes in to but I'll use variety there. Somedays I'll eat smoked herring for example others I may just take some cod liver oil. Anyway point my is find some stuff you like that has harder to get micros and is a good spread of everything you need. This should be about half your calories for the day the other half or whatever you just don't have to worry just eat whatever as long as it's not processed junk or all carbs or something. Be consistent and spontaneous everyday. GL. I feel like a babbled and that made little sense. If so just go add up the spectrum and quantities of all the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants etc you can cover with just a cpl eggs 1 avacado 25 olives and can of pumpkin puree or some sorta gord like acorn squash or butternut. You will see almost all of your base.line needs are met with like 1200 calories. you still got another 1200+ calories left for the day to fill in the quantity but at least you won't have missed anything. Ppl for days for example without getting things like vitamin E. That won't happen if you make sure you have a vitamin E food you like you eat every day Another way to say what I'm saying is to use whole foods how people use supplements. Find a few whole foods that represent a set of supplements and eat them.efwry day instead of supplements all the time. 75 Dr. Eric Berg DC David Renwick David Renwick 9 days ago (edited) Eggseptional!
