Excellent interview Richard, especially from a doctor which I’ve tended to ignore in the past… he certainly knows his stuff. Very informative.

Thank for a valuable interview.
I was surprised that no mention was made of glucosamine and AKG; both of which (in my reading) are associated with a 30% decrease in overall mortality.

Based on experience I agree with Gundry on Vit D3. I live in Florida and try to get nearly full body exposure for 10 to 15 minutes a day on top of normal exposure and my D3 levels hardly budge, maybe 5 ng/ml difference. I still have to use 5,000 IU /d to get into the 40 to 50 ng/ml range. Variable per person, so test to dial in your dose.

Great information 👍, thank you 😁. I appreciate 🙏 you and the work that you do.
Question, what could one do that's tried melatonin supplements and found it causes premature waking? Is getting melatonin through diet alone enough and if so what amount should one strive to reach daily?
☮️❤️😁, great health and prosperity all!

Isn't it better to take Tryptophan instead of Melatonin?
I've seen several longevity video's where Melatonin is reccommended but
All my checks infer that the pre-cursor Tryptophan is better as Melatonin follows a circardium rhythmn that could stop being triggered.
Can anyone clarify?

I believe you are remiss in not being more specific regarding the "type" of Vit C (and other vitamins) and bio-availability. Most types of C very well might as well be beach sand. They offer almost as much benefit.

It is strange that researchers on longevity never speak about vitamin c. Examples are either D. Sinclair or A. Huberman, D. Asprey.

Interesting. I take 10,000 IOU Vit D3 daily and Omega3 (EPA & DHA) 3,000mg daily for 17 years already.

Interesting video, but is it all actually true? I don't really trust Gundry as he was very big into "You can't eat virtually any food as it has lectins in it, so you need to take my expensive supplement first". Which is, of course, nonsense.

A single 9600iu dose of D3 is 240ug. 9600iu "three a day" would be unsafe, unless short term to boost levels, or long term for treating Parkinson's or something with testing of parathyroid hormone and taking lots of vitamin K. I hope Dr. Gundry's book is more accurate than his off-the-cuff remarks.
