Howard Farran Howard Farran 7 years ago Dr. Martin J. Blaser MD I agree with you. I think you are pioneering a new area of medicine that will take a millennium to completely figure out. I think the gut microbiome could explain why dental caries and gum disease is often missing from people with poor home care and no flossing, while others seem to brush and floss as recommended and are still plagued by the two diseases.
