I think a lot of people completely overdo it with the small things. Here's the basics plus a little extra that I am thinking of: - minimal amount or no smoking, alcohol,... - whole food, chewing well, taking your time - good hydration - some cardio - some strength training - stress reduction techniques - actively trying to reduce stress - staying lean - staying flexible - staying muscular - wearing your seatbelt - brushing your teeth - getting to bed at ~10pm, same time every day - getting enough high quality sleep - continuously learning new things - reducing social media, news, television, ads,... - having goals, pursuing them and experiencing achievements - being part of society and giving back - being financially safe - surrounding yourself with likeminded, loving, health-conscious people - taking a minimal amount of supplements if advanced testing isn't available (being save first of all) 5 Reply @Retronize84 @Retronize84 2 days ago I try to start a routine but I often end up back where I started. I feel physically better, then think "oh, im getting healthier and my muscles are hurting, ill just take a day off, its probably good for me" then that turns into 2 days and then I just lose momentum from there. Run outside, do circuits, mix the food up a bit more by adding variation from the mediterranean diet (which is also what Bryan's is based on, his specific recipes are just examples). His face looks mid 40s. I'm mid 40s as well but look mid or early 30s. I still have people at the doctors who are blown away thinking I'm late 20s on occasion. I've eaten okay-ish, worked out fairly often. Nothing excessive like this guy. I will say my body is more on the muscular and fatter side vs super lean. Its a lot better to eat normally which is breakfast, 12 hours fasting and a small meal for dinner. Multi vitamin once a week. And water only fasting every other month to stress the body. Cold water and sauna, losing breath 3 times a week for around 15 min. Once in a while do wrong things to stress the body as well. We cannot be too nice the body by being too healthy all the time. It needs to be trained in remembering how to recover when we fucks it up 1 Reply 1 reply @ConnieB17 @ConnieB17 1 month ago I like what he's doing and love that he's sharing his blueprint for free with the world, but I wish his hair stylist would give him a natural looking colour so he could really look healthy too. His hair and brows are too dark for his skin and only men of a certain age seem to make this mistake. Only a personal opinion but I think he'd look so much younger if he realised hair dye isn't the same as natural hair colour and that you often need to soften up the colour with age because skin colour changes. Now I'm off to order some chlorella and check out that nutty pudding. My Father bought me a gym pass and started reading outloud in home a book called "Fit for Life." He was always in the kitchen chopping veggies, and sharing with our family the benefits of the food he was preparing. ❤ I today am a Nurse, and I have seen people heal themselves by changing the way they eat and include exercise. Also, the peace within matters as well. I personally pray and zen into deep breaths to reset. This fall I think I want to do a show with Aoki including a Blueprint caking - which would require me breaking my perfect sleep score - but it would be worth it! Also: 1/ all recipes, supplements, and the Blueprint protocol is available for free on my website. I had an autologous fat transfer (fat injected into my skin) three days before filming and the swelling is still present. As a semi-pro (amateur) cyclist, when I'm on the bike for 4-6 hours, my body craves simple sugars (rice, sugar, syrups, marmalade, etc.) which can enter the blood stream quickly and be used as fuel (in zones 3-5), with 3+ liters of hydration. I'm still experimenting with different ratios of glucose:fructose. I usually avoid eating a lot of veggies (fiber) when I'm riding with increased volume to prevent unwanted bathroom breaks when it may not be possible. I'm riding daily, so I know that I'm missing out on the nutrition that comes from eating a massive salad, or cooked veggies (which I love). I understand that your diet protocol doesn't include any specific sports activities, but do you have any recommendations for someone who is always pushing his 43-yo body to the limits, demanding the most, but probably missing out on some key nutrition? The only thing i suffer from is Sarcopenia due to estrogen therapy which made the workouts more challenging but i am keeping up the fight ... i love your channel i learn from you ..thank you for sharing your experience with the world ... So i still wanted to taste test even if i had only a few ingredients: Chlorella powder, Cocoa powder and Ceylan cinnamon. And well,,,, i wish i could put more cinnamon because well, the cocoa powder and chlorella arnt tasty like i thought they would lol. I wish we could get details for the amino acids or collagen were detailed, some of them are not, so i didnt want to buy a random bottle of collagen and amino acids. Also, it was confusing when on a bottle of collagen, it had amino acids ingredients, so i wasnt sure if that would be good too. I think i will simplify my version of the green giant and with time add more ingredients. I only boil the veggies for about 3-4 min. I season it with a little salt and pepper, then add a table spoon of Bragg Liquid Aminos, and about a table spoon of Flaxseed oil. The taste is amazing. If you use potatoes then boil for about 10min and add the veggies in the last 4 minutes. Super easy and super good for you. You can use different types of beans for variety instead of lentils all the time. I hope you’ll do this for all the recipes ❤ the only request I’d add is to include the dry weight of lentils and mushrooms since most people buy and store these dried for cost/budget reasons and because it doesn’t make sense to weigh lentils after cooking else you’ll almost always make too much or too little. Carrots, onions, red bell peppers, chia seed, garlic, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, extra virgin olive oil and an egg. This is what I eat daily. Btw many of these veggies are just placed raw in glass jars that I store in the freezer. I put the lid off and microwave it a bit so it gets unstuck and I can throw it in a pot and boil it for a bit..then add garlic seperately and olive oil once its a bit more cool. Every 5 days I add a can of tuna in it.. other 5 days I eat rutebaga with meat sauce.. I switch between the two. This is only for lunch of course which I have it at 11 am.. at 5 pm I eat some mushrooms with sweet potato, onion and another clove of garlic. ...... my deserts are yogurt with honey. If I fancy some acrylamide in me I dont eat bread but rather make myself twice a month a pizza with mushrooms, cheese tomato sauce. regarding my workouts. Simple squats, bicep curls while holding 2x 10kg dumbbells.
