It is always about the quality of meal. If a person consumes millets then even if it is a big meal the release of glucose into the bloodstream will be slow as millets contain a lot of fibre. While if a person consumes wheat or rice then a big meal may result in sudden spurt of glucose into the bloodstream as rice and wheat contain negligible fibre content. Quality of meal is important and millets will treat the root cause. Beside the food should be organic so that there is no chemically induced chronic inflammation. 1 Reply 2 replies @tomandersen7343 @tomandersen7343 1 month ago Obviously never tried low carb/ keto her self ;) Reply @didikavianto2395 @didikavianto2395 5 months ago I dont understand your graph....the fat graph normally doesnt spike glucose ....should be a little be flat at all time after we eat Reply 1 reply @HA-lw4uw @HA-lw4uw 1 year ago (edited) She is usually making very educational videos. Major long term studies have shown that people with the highest intake of animal products (meat, poultry, eggs, dairy, fish) have the highest risk of type 2 diabetes while people with the lowest intake (i.e. nothing) have the lowest risk of type 2 diabetes. There are a number of possible mechanisms as to how meat consumption increases the risk of type 2 diabetes and these are: 1.) Saturated fat. 2.) Advanced glycated end-products (AGEs). 3.) Nitrites. 4.) Heme iron. 5.) Dietary protein. 6.) Endocrine disruptors. 7.) Trimethylamine oxide (TMAO). ▶️ See the full blog details and references here: https://www.thediabetesandhealthclini... It is however one of the best explanations I've heard on this topic, thank you very much. Reply @racking4507 @racking4507 2 years ago (edited) I would love to know the truth about this. Been searching for over 10 years. But I will say that with those that go on low carb diets most of the time their markers improve dramatically. Many have reversed their Type 2 diabetes. I will have to say this is very hard to believe what is being said here. I was on low carb 5 years, had cholesterol numbers so low my doc said he wasn't going to check them again for a couple years, plus a perfect colonoscopy, and 50 pounds off to boot. But information like this has muddied the waters. Somebody is lying, but for a layperson it is difficult to know who. 9 Reply 5 replies @RedSeaCrossing_81 @RedSeaCrossing_81 1 year ago I became vegan not too long ago, started learning about how saturated animal products inhibit insulin reaction. Yes eating protein works in the short term but in the long term all you're doing is bogging down the system and setting yourself up for a cardiac event. 4 Reply @vickiwithers8563 @vickiwithers8563 1 year ago (edited) Another excellent explanation Thank you Reply @hectordiaz1839 @hectordiaz1839 1 year ago (edited) For listening to incompetent doctors I almost died from diabetic ketoacidosis when I got home I put meat heavily back in my diet and drank Pedialyte for a few days by the second or third day I was completely healed and I feel like Superman now I will never give up meat again 7 Reply @emb74 @emb74 3 years ago (edited) Nina Teicholz did a presentation on the prevalence of diabetes and the availability of meat. In my epidemiology textbook in chapter one it says observational studies cannot inform on causality. It also says that "risk" is a term implying causality. So.......? Would you please cite the research that indicates causality between any of these factors and insulin resistance? 25 Reply 1 reply @chrissvenningson1747 @chrissvenningson1747 1 year ago (edited) I think ad a type 2 diabetic, I’ve tried virtually every diet including vegan, keto and carnivore. With carnivore I feel a big hit on my cardiovascular and with vegan I felt a lack of energy and my mental concentration was not optimal. After my trials with diets, I find that lots of veggies, lean meats like Turkey, chicken and seafood are the best proteins. High fiber breakfast cereals are good but with organic soy milk. Many Doctors on YouTube promote a high carnivore diet, but they are not diabetic themselves. It’s very hard on your organs and cardiovascular system when you’re eating saturated fats. Sure, eating carnivore will keep you blood sugars in check, but you’ll set yourself up for heart disease too. 3 Reply 1 reply @heavenlove8980 @heavenlove8980 3 years ago (edited) What is the cause of sodium loss in body ??? Reply @candybrown3785 @candybrown3785 9 months ago It's combination of fat and high carbs. Randell study. High carbs which is sugar no matter the source plants etc. You don't need carbs. Your body will produce glucose. Loading it up with carbs causes insulin resistant storage of fat. Saturated fats is for brain and hormones. Many Vegans have lost their periods for women and low testosterone for men. We need protein from animals. You can't get the amount you need from plants. We need protein for everything to prevent sarcopenia. Protein is needed for everything in your body hair, bones, collagen etc. 2 sources of energy fat and carbs. You are better, calmer, stable without insulin spikes using fat as energy. Plus all plants are man-made. Please research our ancestors we ate primarily animals not plants. Most plants are toxic unless cooked properly. Fiber is causing so much digestive issues. It's clogging your bowels. People with IBS, colitis, crones etc are put on no fiber diets. Why do you think that is? We are not cows that can digest all these plant fibers. You eat meat and animal fat you go fine. No constipation, no longer gas non stop etc. If veganism is the best why are we getting sicker and fatter. You have it wrong. I know I bought into the vegan for over 20 years now I'm a Carnivore. Muscle mass returned, no more bloating, gas, feeling hungry anymore. 1 Reply @danielwiederkehr5163 @danielwiederkehr5163 2 years ago (edited) I think you are dead wrong. I was T2 diabetic until I entered the carnivore lifestyle. mt diabetes is in remission, A1c from 6.7 to 5.3 in 8 months, and will get lower. so , I can say, without doubt, that exclusive use of animal products has cured me 3 Reply 2 replies @Be.fair.to.all.people_ @Be.fair.to.all.people_ 1 year ago (edited) Is there a link? Most people say stay away from baked potatoes but what are you putting on those baked potatoes. Carbs are not the enemy. They were nomadic people traveling with their cattle, and everything they ate was provided by their cattle, and everything they ate was provided by their animals. They ate meat, organ meats, milk and sour milk and drank the blood of their best bulls. These people had non of these diseases whatsoever, no heart disease, no cancer,no degenerative conditions, thier bodies were trim.and muscalur, their lifespans was long and they had beautiful healthy teeth, along with great physical health these people were intelligent, joyful, peaceful, friendly and happy, with no physiological problems at all. But when they moved to the City and adopted a modern diet they started getting the diseases people suffer from in modern countries. Red meat is health food. Thousands of people thrive on eating nothing but red meat. Food is big business. A myriad of commercial and political interest are involved in everything surrounding food production and consumption. As a result, out world is full of commercial misinformation about food. On top of that, we have food science, largely funded by commercial companies, which is producing an endless stream of nutritional information for the population. Because it's "science" people believe it. To find true information about food takes special effort. I'm sorry to say, but WHO is a corporate owned for profit business. For me personally - I can see my fasted glucose as 30 points higher than fully hydrated (bringing it well within normal). Also some individuals, especially as they age, are not as aware that they are dehydrated!! Caffeinated beverages such as coffee can accelerate the effect also. 7 Reply @okritsky @okritsky 4 months ago I tryed to drink 1 extra litre of pure water and measured my blood glucose every 15 minutes for 2 hours. so In 30 minutes my fasting (for about 30 hours by that moment) blood glucose (in evening) grew from 6.2 to 6.5 and no longer changed for the rest 1.5 hours until I went for a walk. so, all other hormones (cortizol, epinephrin, growth hormone, glucagon) work faster then water dilutes blood and they keep the level your body need.
