Professor Thomas Seyfried has published over 150 peer reviewed studies in biology and cancer biology and has verified Nobel Prize Winner Otto Warburg's assertation that cancer is a metabolic disease of the mitochondria, not a genetic disorder. If we misunderstand the origin of the disease, the treatment is going to be wrong as well, and this is exactly what has happened. Ever t …

Never say much but maybe I Should. I'm a retired IM/ER physician/biochemistry researcher who had stage four melanoma. I had ultra toxic not approved Chemo treatments that did nothing for me. On my death bed I went back to the science went full strict carnivore and in six months I had no traces of cancer and I am 7 years carnivore and cancer free. I know its anecdotal evidence but I wish more would at least try.

As a 30 plus year RN I learned very quickly it’s not about the patient, it’s ALL about MONEY. The system does not care if you die, how much money can they make off this person. Do your own research, educate yourself on your illness. This video has wonderful information, God bless them.

My distant relative had cancer on her 30th birth year that bursted, and the surgeon showed on her face that there is very little hope for her but she got chemo, lost her hair, eylashes and gained much weight. After that she got lympha-therapy and electric Riefe frequency therapy. She started eating natural foods. She is now 50 years old, beautiful, and has llong thick hair, and is healthy. No cancer. 😊

It's irresponsible for a physician to tell a cancer patient to go ahead and eat whatever you want because there's nothing more that you can do. Thank you both for speaking out.

We lost our 17 yr old son 6 years ago to a rare cancer. He was diagnosed, & he didn't want chemo. I asked the oncologist if we should stop sugar & carbs and he said no, let him eat all.he wants! After seeing this, I have to forgive that Dr - but I wish I knew this for my son.😪 I will share with anyone now who needs it and maybe even some who don't think they do because cancer can be devastating.

Several years ago, I went on a residential course. There was one elderly gentleman there who spent every day eating nothing but chocolate; Mars bars, Milky Ways, Twix, Bounty’s, Dairy Milk, etc. Even during lunch break when most people ate normal food, he continued to stuff his face with chocolatey crap. A few days in I asked why he was eating so much chocolate and his answer made me want to cry. He’d recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer and the oncologist told him he was going to die and he should just enjoy his remaining time. He enjoyed eating chocolate, so that’s what he did, not realising that this was feeding his cancer and speeding up his demise. We tried to reason with him, but he trusted his oncologist. This is only one example of why I detest the UK NHS and the people who work within it.

When we went grain and sugar free years ago, I put my Golden on grain free kibble. I didn't know any better at the time. He ended up with cancer when he was 6. It was removed with surgery, but likely to come back. I started doing research and immediately took him off kibble and began feeding raw carnivore. He's now 12 and 1/2, runs around like a puppy and is cancer free. If he gets "people" food, it's the gristle and some fat from our meat.

I started Paleo 12 yrs ago when I started doing Crossfit. I dropped 10 lbs, built muscle. I have fed my labradors (all rescues) raw from the time I adopted them. Two passed back to back 3 yrs ago, one was 13 and the other 14...the third is still with me and approaching 16. So this diet is for all living, not just human. I am a F, 62 yrs old, and weight 137, 5'7", came from an obese family.....this has worked for me very well!

8 years later, I've survived invasive breast cancer and I'm in full health. I said no to chemo and Yes to keto/carnivore. It is EASY to eat this way if you remember the choice is -you may die... Thank you for shining the light on the metabolic pathway of cancer. Thank you for spreading this life saving information.❤

It's outrageous that a loss of potential profit for multi billion companies are preventing lives from being saved or greatly extended all over the world. You'd think that in a free world, people would be willing to choose to pay whatever they can afford to have a chance, given the opportunity, so clearly there are political factors at play

I have felt I’m living in a broken simulation as I have been researching health, wellness, diet, clarity, etc for 10 years and have come to the absolute opposite conclusions as the entire health care industry about what makes you healthy. I’m so happy I’m not the only crazy person in the world. Kudos Dr. Chaffee. Kudos Dr. Seyfried.

This has to be the most relevant interview about ridding the world of CANCER. You are what you eat. Metabolic therapy is the preferred treatment, but it is also the preferred method to avoid cancer in the first place. They do not advise people of this because there is NO Money in healthy patients.

I was horrified to see a giant size bowl filled with pounds of candy sitting on the table in the waiting room of the oncologist office. Yes, it is a very lucrative business, one that actively persecutes and tried to imprison doctors who step off the "standardized protocol" and actually have success in arresting cancer, for example Dr. Brzynsky.

There should be cancer nutrition therapy clinics that treat and teach cancer patients and require family members to attend nutrition classes as well..., to teach whole families to eat appropriately to prevent and be support for the patients. My sister was given a sugary icecream while trying to beat cancer.. I was told to "shut up" when I brought forward the fact that sugar feeds cancers. People should know that they are in a cancer fight to win, not just to be in the race.

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 1988 , and 9 years later , after 5 different types of chemotherapy + radiotherapy then two bone marrow transplants ,
( my own bone marrow ) , I was classed as being in remission, 1998.....
The so called Experts stated that Even though I survived the treatment , I would be dead by 40 👈 , mostly caused by the Toxic effects of and from the chemo ¿¿¿♡
I am now 64 , and my Immune system is better than most 50 year olds , no vaccines , even caught covid and fought it off with Natural Immunity 👈🙏❤️
Cancer is just a word and it does not have to be a death sentence and how do You beat it , believe that You Can ❤

My Mother Passed from Lymphoma 18 months ago.The Consultant couldn't even diagnose what was causing her symptoms until the cancer had spread to vital organs. The lack of progress Thomas refers to , is shockingly real and the treatments of such devastating illnesses drastically need to improve and catch up to the times we live in.

My daughter was diagnosed with medulloblastoma at the age of 3. The standard of care for the type she had was radiation following chemotherapy because she had reached the age of 3. We pushed back a little on this and were referred to another hospital. They retested her tumor and determined that it was a specific type that actually responded well to high dose chemo and no radiation. Today she is 16 and is thriving and intelligent. I’m so grateful they retested or she would have a very different life right now.
Also, after her first round of high-dose chemo she did very poorly. We were scared. We discussed the option of stopping this particular protocol and were informed that we had no choice because it was standard of care. If we refused, legal action would be taken.

Brilliantly said professor - thank you for exposing this extremely money oriented and evil system! It’s interesting how Anthony is quietly, diplomatically but totally agreeing to this professor about how rigged this system is because Anthony is trying to not be too vocal against the system he’s unfortunately still part of (because one has to make a living out of one’s hard work from so many years in medical school) but is clearly deeply frowning on the system.

In Puerto Rico, Frank Suarez, allegedly committed suicide, which most of his followers who knew him well, know he would have never done that.
He was always in good mood and had a successful health center. He was one of the persons who knew so much about metabolism and its links to disease.
He was a voice of awareness about uncomfortable truths regarding the corporate medical pharmaceutical alimentary veterinary complex.
He also helped people be aware about
the truth as to the covidian issue.
There’s a channel, Metabolismo TV, with
thousands of videos about health education. He was writing a book about cancer.
Sometime before the event, he had just commented on mysterious deaths of people doing this work, jeopardizing the billions of the pharma c, and he said something about not being found like falling from someplace...

Why not open small hospitals/clinics across the country and just treat people who choose to treat their cancer this way? I know it would probably have to be private pay as insurance won't cover but it might still be reasonable enough for people to afford yet profitable enough to make it work. Please?!
Thank you for all you do 🙏😊

This should be watched/ listened to by anyone who might get cancer, has cancer, works in healthcare, believes in choice, believes conflict of interests need to be more aggressively addressed in this country BASICALLY this includes EVERYONE! I have worked as an oncology nurse. When you talked about the HORRIBLE peripheral neuropathy some chemotherapy agents can cause I cried! We are taught to encourage patients to keep going and think of how the more chemotherapy they get the better chance they will have to live with out cancer without any respect or sensitivity to the disabling effects that cause a significant loss of self. Let’s focus on patients that have a legal and ethical right to choice and self determination! Thanks for your work!

Here in the UK 5 yrs ago, after my PSA(Prostate), reached 15, I relented and allowed biopsies on prostate, and was told I had low-end Cancer, and that surgery was needed! I opted for wait-and-see..In response to my asking about diet, I was told it made NO difference!!! My question as to how they KNOW that biopsies of such a central/sensitive organ weren't dangerous, was "pooh-poohed"! I was lucky that my search of the web warned me to be careful and to do my research.. I made radical diet/lifestyle changes; and, I'm, at 75, as well as an ex-drinker/smoker/etc!, could expect...

There is so much "Good" information on how to care for yourself with Cancer (mine Prostate Cancer) ; if a Physician even suggest what Prof. Seyfried speaks about, the patient would think the Physician is off his rocker ; my urologist has told me I am the only patient active OF HIS PRACTICE(multi Urologist practice) in my Prostate Cancer treatment by controlling Food , Exercise and 25(OH) D "VITAMIN D" ;I am actually far healthier than I have been in 30 years; what a paradox.

For Thomas Seyfried, I would like to tell him that there are business models based on the effective cancer treatment (aligned with his research) in India. Search for HIIMS hospital in India. They have set up multiple hospitals in different cities where they give treatment as told by Thomas Seyfried. The business model seems to have been effective based on the interviews given by founders. They reportedly charge Rs 8000 (a little more than 100$ a day ) and provide remedies based on naturopathy and other alternative practices, with little to no medication.

People are in disbelief when I told him these things, but I give them plenty of verifiable information to seek out on their own. It really saddens me from a career built in healthcare perspective that this information isn’t readily available through the specialists these patients seek treatment from

I was on a drug for prostate cancer. It was an ADT drug. One of the side effects was increased blood glucose. I was monitoring my own glucose levels and when I saw a rise in my glucose I did not report this to my primary because he would have put me on metformin, instead I went on a carnivore diet which brought my glucose numbers down considerably.

The most frustrating problem I have had with having this knowledge is that most people reject it. I have learned the hard way that you cannot help a person who does not want to help themselves. For some people even if it means the difference between life and death some people will never ever change or take this information serious. It's tragic really. Yet if the government put it on the news that sugar is ok they would listen.

The past couple of years I have been getting iron infusions because I had a bleeding hiatal hernia. In my town, the hematologist is located at the cancer center, so I was sitting with the chemotherapy patients to get the iron infusion. I was gobsmacked to be offered soft drinks and sweet treats while sitting there! The nurse told me that the cancer patients are not restricted in any way on their diets. They are happy that they are able to eat at all.

My great grandson Scotty died from brain cancer at 2 and Im determined to help others till my last breath. I've been on Keto diet for two years, went from 175 to 130. I love to walk. I'm a professional singer, a teacher, a fine art and sign painter, nurse and dr. assistant. I am also a social services college student . I am ready for my next sacred phase in my life. Being groomed for Broadway from age 11.. but my heart told me to volunteer my music therapy to hospitals etc. Robert is 52 , stage 3, I'm so excited after listening to this info I'm grabbing my guitar . God bless you both!

I have shared this and other videos of Mr. Seyfried. Guess what? None of the people I know with cancer has the interest in following Mr. Seyfried's advice. It takes discipline . It seems few people have any discipline anymore. Easier to get chemotherapy and still go to fast food restaurants and drink cokes! And fasting is totally foreign and repugnant to most people.

🙏🏽Thank you so very much to Dr Anthony and Prof Thomas for sharing such valuable information. Having had stage 3 ovarian cancer in 2019, and stage 4 reoccurrence currently in lymph nodes, this information is LIFE SAVING! I’ve been a vegetarian for 10+ years and a week ago found out what the carnivore diet is. I’ve started eating meat and will transition to 100% carnivore over the next couple of weeks. I do not want to put my body into shock. Thank you again, I’ve started telling EVERYONE who will listen, about the health benefits of going carnivore. Hugs from New Zealand 🇳🇿😊🙏🏽👋🏽

I’ve had to fly under the radar with diet change in my little girl. I kept being reminded that child protection services could get “involved” if they don’t understand that I’m carefully approaching every change I made to reverse my kiddos illness and I’m some kooky parent ignoring her conditions. I know those parents exist but I have no idea how they determine that my approach is making sense.
She is now 16 and said she’s going to tell the doctors HERSELF that she has felt better & reversed her illness through carnivore since 2019.
I was told it was way too dangerous to try JUST diet and that she could die without methimazole.
That it’s ‘mysterious’ and beware of ‘thyroid storm.’ So as I made each change I was thinking WHY would everything be improved and then some mysterious ‘thyroid storm’ takes her suddenly some day. How awful would that be to watch my child go because I did a DANGEROUS DIET approach instead of meds.
Let me tell you… They had me scared to death but I was SO irritated at the list of possible side effects’ and being told I had to force a daily pill on her that MAY harm her kidneys & liver.. She already has T1D so her busted pancreas was enough. One busted organ will do here, thank you!
I did it all scared. And her labs AND symptoms.. gone since 2019. Almost five years of no ‘thyroid storm.’ (They still try to scare me every now & then). A happy kid. And one more year and she will have made it through her childhood fully alive.
If another curve ball comes up we will have to reassess. Again.

When I was in Hospital last Nov. with delta/covid, I did not eat hospital food other than an egg one morning and salmon steak one evening. Everything else was, as Dr. Chaffee stated, sugar and carbs primarily. It was good to fast during those five days anyway. Perhaps fasting enhanced recovery.

I heard of a study where they put cancer cells into a raw apple, and the cancer cells died. But when they put cancer cells into a baked apple pie, the cancer cells multiplied like crazy. Carnivore is great, but the sugar in raw fruits is different than processed refined sugar.

This information is very useful to me. I used Keto to get rid of 100 lbs. as my Covid project. It really isn't all that hard. But with heart disease ( 2 attacks and one quint bypass) and T2D, managing survival I can see is 'just keep doing what you're doing." And that's ok - you get used to it very quickly and it means a lot less complicated cooking recipes. 😏 Sugar addiction is the hard part but it gets easier with time. Thanks for the supporting info.

I have had breast cancer & lung cancer & I have been in the Holistic & Alternative Health fields for years. I was able to shrink & disapate my cancer by eating an organic raw foods diet with herbal supplements to assist in my body healing. As well as never eating sugars or bad oils. Coconut sugar & agave were fine & coconut oil & extra virgin olive oil was great too. But no others were good for me. I think alot of the medical professionals have been taught an old paradigm that doesn't fit the standard of care for cancer patients. If anyone has cancer, I wish everyone the very best in your healing journey! I also focused on my mind set as that was also important in my healing journey. Thoughts that I am working on my healing & getting myself better & not focused on a death sentence!!! Very important. Best to those in their searches for healing!! I want to also give Thanks to this channel for giving this information to the public. 😃💜🕯️🌍

It’s more than a tragedy, it’s criminal. The medical profession was high-jacked, by greed and utter control.
The Professor has great proof and so do many doctors and others who have studied this and know what they are talking about. It’s really and truly so controlled that you can’t even treat people with the best known treatments.
Everyone should get behind this and get these giant corporations to back down and allow people to be helped with what works best… not what brings in the most money.

My brother is a cancer surgeon and he suggests the keto diet. I have cancer and went on the keto diet. It was rough getting started but after two weeks become rutine. I lasted 3 months lost 35 pounds and felt terrific. Once i started chemotherapy i couldn't stand the smell of meat and could not touch anything cold due to the effects on my nervous system. I had to stop that diet and tried to eat what i could as i had no appetite. Now im through with therapy and want to get back to that diet but maybe not so strict and ad more greens and beans.
The modern off the shelf food is poison, if it doesn't kill you directly it will surely kill someone you know. Our government and all the food producers are in on it as they control it. When you go to the grocery store you see many many labels but in reality there is only a dozen companies. You think you have options but its a lie. Stick to the parameter of the store and stay away from boxed, bagged and most canned foods. Pick the lessor brands as these are lower in sugars, salts and chemicals to enhance taste

So sad what is going on in the world when Money becomes priority over a human being I dont think i could go to work every day and know that my patients were not being treated with proven treatments and look them in the face My conscience wouldent let me continue . Its time we change the Government and elect people who put people first. The common man or woman that doesn't have
Medical training isn't the right person to try to explain about the treatments that are working that should be the medical field but all the Medical professionals that have the expertise and know what they are talking about . The non educated man doesn't stand a chance

Love this! I worked with an orthopaedic surgeon here in Australia who was silenced by the medical governing body due to healing patients with nutrition over surgery. I watched him get bullied and ridiculed by fellow staff as he passionately tried to educate us all on keto, as well as fighting to get vending machines out of our local hospitals. I was dumbfounded…. That was when keto was not well liked/known about in Australia and especially Tasmania. Look at where keto is now in the world!! 🎉 I found and find it so disheartening giving patients high carb foods and multiple meds in the medical/hospital systems, knowing that lifestyle choices could influence their health so much more positively! Congrats to you both for taking a stance 👏👏👏👏 and an extra 👏 for Dr Chaffee helping bring change here to 🇦🇺

The most depressing thing about this talk... I have two relatives now, who I've told of this research, who don't pay a blind bit of attention. I've now been carnivore for a few months, and am a strong advocate... I have no idea why carb consumers aren't now shamed in the same way as smokers were in the past. The evidence for paleo-keto and carnivore diets is overwhelming now.

The last time I was in the hospital the dietician came in and asked why I was refusing all food. I told her there was nothing nutritious on the tray and that I did not eat any of that poison. She then was so angry when she asked what I would eat and I told her only steamed fish, period. She said the cook would have no ability to cater yo my "food demands". I had been in the ICU dying from a severe lung infection but survived only to have her insult me abd tell me NOBIDY eats fish for breakfast. My husband stepped in and said , We DO. The hospital CEO even got angry at me. My family made sure I had my fish or red meat

Dr Seyfried's hypothesis, the cancer comes from a dysfunction in mitochondrial metabolism seems to a lay person, like myself, very reasonable after hearing his explanation of it. But I am just a lay person, and I have no preparation in biology that would enable me to judge his hypothesis on its merits. Also, I have no knowledge of how his hypothesis has already been received by scientists in the areas of onco-genesis and -metabolism.
If Seyfried's supposition is indeed a workable hypothesis, then I would think that others would try to demonstrate its validity. When others do not jump onto a train that is headed in the right direction, the conclusion is that the direction is not clear or that there are many obstacles along the way; that it is all not so simple as Seyfried seems to convey. As one commentator has already said, "This interview is PURE GOLD". It may be in terms of generating money, but I would not let it separate me from my GOLD at this point.

I was 12-15yrs old when I had osteosarcoma of my left proximal tibia and then it metastasized into my left lung. While I was doing treatment I hated every moment of it and told them that the chemo would kill me before the cancer did. They finally sent me home and wished me luck only AFTER they did experimental surgery on me called limb salvage surgery and told me I should be happy that I was alive even though I did not live a life like most people. To this day I hate everything about the medical field, have no respect of it, and refuse to take the medication‘s, I’d rather fix things naturally as I have learned there are worse things than death… I have had hormonal problems and suffer from endometriosis and at this moment I have a very large cyst on my ovary, bad gastrointestinal problems along with other many side effects of the chemotherapy. People think that I am ungrateful for what has happened and I correct them and say that I am VERY UNGRATEFUL and I do not care what anybody says because I see the evilness in the industry and capitalism. I wish I could sue the cancer industry. They don’t want to fix anything, there’s too much money in it for them and a drug dealer does not like another drug dealer on their territory. So, this is where we will stay and no matter how many times you tell people there’s something better they are so brainwashed they refuse to believe it. The doctors refuse to listen even though I personally know people who cured their cancers naturally they never report it. I’m not saying there is no hope for change of cancer treatment, I just know there’s only hope for those who ARE NOT AFRAID and take chances (something they have gone out of their way to make people think they can not do.. people are STILL wearing masks….😷) I’m glad to hear all of this because this is exactly what I have speculated for many years but I’m not a doctor and only perceived as a resentful ungrateful ex cancer patient and I should get over it and be fine or happy I’m alive…🙄🥱But I’ve learned not to care about everything that’s going on with the medical field. I see the same evil in the eyes of the people making money.. (no matter the industry) what is worth more LIFE or the “Love of MONEY..🤑”

Greed is really evil when it comes to this billion dollar industry. It really is pathetic. Really glad I watched this, it is a long video but we’ll worth it. I forwarded to a person with g blastoma. And a coworker who has a child who has cancer. We eat carnivore with fruit but do that so we don’t have oxalate dumping. But would cut down to be more ketone diet 100% if we were up against cancer.

I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2020. After a full hysterectomy I received radiation and chemo to “clean up” any remaining cancer cells, as some were found in pelvic lymph nodes. Two years later, metastatic cancer cells were found in my lungs. Now I have been diagnosed with another cancer. I have acute myeloid leukemia. I am 64 and not suitable for a marrow transplant. They will be treating me with azacitidine, which may prolong my life, but not cure. I will be confined to a care home, because I will need medical supervision around the clock. I do not have family close to me. I did research and immediately cut sugar out of my diet, and went low-carb. My specialist told me to stop that, as my weight is still dropping. I am worried about the diet in the care home, as I will have no control over my food. I am going to ask for vegan meals, but am worried about the potatoes, pasta and bread. I very much doubt care homes make use of lentils for protein. 😢

Hi I had cancer breast 1999 wide excision no chemo no radiation by choice due to hearing all about it. They wanted to do mastectomy but no.
I changed water supply and went mountain climbing as my lungs were showing bacteria badly and I had already quit smoking. Two years once a week climbing in summer and fall . The next cancer 2014 on other breast none on first side. This one very small but the night before lumpectomy a woman that died of lung cancer told me to come and rounding the hall corner I saw a room full of light which is what was during the operation which left little scar. Next time now 2023 and I don t feel as confident. It’s very small. Under a cm. I m 80 soon. I lost weight . I m petite kind of. It’s been since July I m stalling and recently my ability to bring water has returned and my BM s are totally back to healthy movement . Well almost. These articles just totally back my innate feelings .

I have been a vegan/vegetarian but the prostate issues never got improved. Now I am on carnivore diet for few weeks and I feel much much better. I used to go to the bathroom at night to pee up to eight times and more but now has stopped. My brother died due to prostate cancer and I thought soon I would be next, but now I feel good and full of hope that I will continue to get better and manage the situation and get better.
Thank you and I hope this video will continue to be available to help millions of people.

he mentioned organic food and yes there is a certification group that sets requirements to be labeled organic, not everyone uses it and one of the requirements to be organic they have to use organic approved pesticides which are not as effective so they have to use more pesticides on the farms.

Thank you for getting the word out! I've had chemo for NHL twice in the last 19 years. The first regimen nearly killed me (R-CHOP) and the 2nd "better" one left me with systemic lymphedema. I have stayed away from doctors the last 2+ years and have become my own naturopath. I feel better than I have in years since learning from you and others about nutrition.

My wife died last summer . I kept telling her and the medical staff about cancer and diet. I bombarded them with videos . Mostly these videos , from doctors , claimed diet as a support to conventional treatment . Now I believe the diet is much more important and perhaps conventional therapy should be seen as complimentary .
I have had my urine bladder removed due to cancer . So yes I have had enough of consequences . All this since 2018. However feeling sorry won't help . I am angry on the experts and their greed , ignorance and ego. I hope all the doctors involved in my wife's "treatment " will listen soon.
All I can do is share this incessantly - even if people don't want to listen. Not even my family.

Yes! Dr Chaffee and the thinking power of Prof Seyfried, together on a coffee chat. I am not the smartest old man on the planet but hold intelligent people in high regard. Thank you for this talk guys, and my beliefs are that most if not all carbs are hibernation foods like a bear or other creatures would eat at the end 😊of the season before winter hits. I freaked out the medical staff here in Edmonton when I fasted before both knees and right shoulder replacements and have healed very fast. Carbs should only be used as a survival trick. You guys are great! ❤

23 years ago my husband at the time was diagnosed with brain cancer (encapsulated oligodendroglioma) I dove into researching ways to help him & found a book in the library discussing the role that sugar plays in cancer & tried my best to get him to try it to no avail. He did surgery/radiation/chemo, had a recurrence at 6 Mos (oligoastrocytoma) followed by more surgery/chemo. He has been cancer free since then, but continues to have seizures & all of the side effects from multiple seizure meds for over 20 years. This year at the age of 49 he had to enter assisted living. I can't help but wonder how different his quality of life would have been had he been willing to adopt a ketogenic diet early on.

Thank you so much. It’s the first time I’ve heard anyone speak about the same things I’ve believed for years. The longer 8 watched & listened, the more I was captivated. I wish these concepts would be widely accepted in health care in UK instead of blindly continuing with toxic treatments. Whenever I have spoken about this & the nutritional side which I learnt as a teenager, people just think I’m mad! I think the most difficult thing to understand is when someone is diagnosed & often treated for any cancer, why they just continue with the same old lifestyle afterwards. It doesn’t help when our GP’s & others don’t have nutritional training. There is so much more I could say but for me you said it all. ❤️💫⭐️✨🌟

Thank you Dr. Chaffee for this interview with Dr. Seyfried. True Legends! I understand that most of the discussed research is focused on metabolic therapy for cancer, but I'm trying carnivore diet to heal from a benign brain tumour (acoustic neuroma). I've just started to eat carnivore a few days ago and I'm also focusing on educating myself on this lifestyle. I'll be my own 'N of 1 trial'. Just after these few days I can already feel like my 'switchboard' is functioning better and although it's very early on - I have not felt this good in months since the onset of my symptoms! If this can help me battle this tumour without invasive surgery and/or radiotherapy, I'm all in. Hopefully, converting to carnivore can also improve other neurological 'special effects' from this condition (dreadful tinnitus, vertigo/imbalance, facial numbness and eye issues on the side of the tumour, etc.). Even if all my doctors are telling me that spontaneous remission is extremely unlikely/unheard of really, and my hearing cannot be restored, at least I will be in the best shape possible to recover from treatment and give me a sense of control. This is very important to me as Dr. Seyfried said - I need to feel like I have an impactful role to play on this journey and I refuse to be a victim.
Let's see where this will lead me. I'll report back on my progress. Thank you Both for all that you do with such care & passion. Greetings from Ireland! ☘

Listening to Seyfried explain the whole cancer process is amazing. Great interview. My mother died a year after getting cancer. Her doctor prescribed chemo. Bottom line, don't listen to your doctor. Be VERY careful with your diet and make sure you EXERCISE! Lifting heavy weights is really important and make sure you don't sit for long periods of time without getting up and doing some kind of exercise.

As a BC survivor, I wish I'd known about about Keto diet earlier, but I went with whatever they said and did chemo and radiation. For me it wasn't that terrible, I managed it. But the minute I found out about Keto AND fasting, which was through Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Ken Berry right here on YT. I jumped on it that day, fasted the rest of the day and never looked back. I lost over 125 pounds and turned my health around, I had been headed towards T2D, had HBP, ALL gone after eating the Keto diet. Convinced me!!! I appreciate the doctors and professors that question things and are so very intelligent to figure all this out, all we have to do is follow it. Thanks Prof Seyfried & Dr. Chaffee!!!

Interesting that breakthrough discoveries were made in the the 1920s and 30s. This is the period when the “charitable foundations “ began to bury so many scientific discoveries not consistent with the energy and petro-chemical industry goals. They withdrew their funds from Universities researching these scientific breakthroughs in medicine and in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Thank you Dr Chaffee for giving a platform to promote Dr Seyfried's work. A lot of interviews with Dr Seyfried are to be found on YouTube with a lot of common ground between them but still I always learn more from each one. Hopefully the message will eventually change the Standard of Care requirement to first employ radiation and or chemotherapy before trying a metabolic approach.

I found that drinking multiple cups of coffee when I was losing weight, actually made my PSA number rise quite markedly. I stopped drinking coffee for 3 weeks prior to getting a PSA blood test, and the figure was cut in half. I realised this was due to the inflammatory nature of caffeine. I now only have 1 cup a day, and I am due to have another PSA test in 4 months, so we will see. I have also been on a carnivore diet for the last 18 months and have never felt better - I am now 60 years old, and am looking forward to many more years of healthy life.

So interesting to hear you saying the terms and clarifying the assumptions I am making..

I was an oncology nurse for many years and it made me sick to see chemo killing people snd the cancer is thriving. Patients coming in looking like death and begging the doctor for one more chemo treatment that this might be the one, no nutritional guidance people eating crap, I couldn’t take it and doctors arguing, dietitians in the hospital arguing that people need carbohydrates and should eat anything they want to keep up calories. Then they put feeding tubes in people with head and neck cancer and give them formula with high fructose corn syrup. You would think Doctors would realize when they do a PET scan they give a sugar radioactive isotope which lights up the cancer. I went into in oncology to help people it didn’t take me long to wake up to this billion dollar business with really no intent of healing people.

We have a very good friend with GMB here in California and was told he has a few weeks left and should just eat as normal as possible. But knowing Dr Seyfried’s research combined with Keto or just plain low carb, our friend is still alive and kicking. It is funny that his oncologist was against the diet. Even his wife who is studying nursing thought that the diet was extreme.
Anyways, Doctors tell lies et make more money.

Hospital food is the worst as a Type 2 diabetic every breakfast was a grain meal based on WHEAT eg cereal & toast. No eggs. No protein. The kitchen had no idea. I required high protein meals & carb free. I told the cook, just give me a boiled egg.

Was on Short Term Disability after a diagnosis of Triple Negative Boobie C, had a lumpectomy and lymph nodes (6) removed. Clear and with clear but tight margins. Carrying on with holistic / herbal / exercise and strict diet to prevent reoccurrence. As soon as I declined chemotherapy and radiation I was cut off of the Short Term Disability. Also have autoimmune Lupus / Hashimoto Thyroid, Chilblains... was not convinced Standard of Care would of benefited me. Do not feel supported by the system as a result. Thank you for re-affirming what my gut told me. I know I am on the right path.

Please, how do I get a hold of Professor Seyfried? My husband was diagnosticated with Leukemia and he is taking the chemo treatment. When his immunes went down, an opportunistic fungus, Murko (I am not to sure about the spelling) got into his right lung causing him to have a very persistent and aggressive cough. We were told that this type of fungus was really dangerous. So, chemo was stopped for almost 2 month and he was put on antifungal infusions to the point that his kidneys got hurt in the process. Just like you said: it seems like the poison that he is taking, either with the antifungal infusions and the chemo are going to make him to weak to a point of no return. Please I need to talk to the Professor for advices. Thank you

Dr. Mobeen Syed did a vid recently in which he explained how melatonin signals healthy cells to send mitochondria to unhealthy cells. Wow! Amazing!!! Idk if this would help or not, but pistachios have a good amount of melatonin.🎉🎉🎉 Dr. Gundry also mentioned that fact recently in a (LONG) podcast with Lewis Howes.

13:40 I am not so sure about this. In some parts of Africa you can find large and very sweet fruit growing wild. Our evolutionary cousins the orangutans eat a diet that consists of about 50% figs.
Are we quite sure that ancient humans did not gorge themselves on sugar? Perhaps seasonality is important?

Thanks Anthony. I am totally addicted to sugar/honey/sweetness. I have been doing SEMI-carnivore for 2 months and haven’t noticed much of an improvement in presenting symptoms (weight gain, aching joints, low energy depression, I’m 73), BECAUSE I have found it will nigh impossible to give up fructose/sucrose. Today is my first attempt to go sugar free for a day. OUT goes nice strong sweet milky tea & honey Iced Milk! I figure I take it one day at a time. Just get through the first day. When I was young, meat and veg were staples. My grandmother was an amazing cook. We ate steak & kidney pudding, sheep’s brains and bacon, liver, regular lamb roasts, but we also ate very rich sweet deserts such as Baked Rollypolly (Yum!) Baked Lemon Pudding, (Double Yum!) were my favourites as a child. All served with custard! There simply wasn’t the plethora of highly processed foods and fast food available, fortunately. I remember the first, two aisle, Coles supermarket opening at the local shops. It was like going into a toy store! All these shiny packets of, well, in hindsight, JUNK! Any suggestions re kicking sugar appreciated! I tried talking to my semi-vegan 🙄 daughter, a qualified mid-wife who has “food issues”, about carnivore. She wouldn’t have a bar of it. Have just do it myself and let the results speak for themselves, I hope!

I have stage 2 multiple myeloma. I also have only one artery feeding my heart and no veins the Doctors can use for bypass. The chemo is terrible! The steroids are driving my type two diabetes numbers through the roof! Anything over 200 gives me angina and I’ve gone as high as 620! Now they put me on insulin when I had my diabetes under 100 before these treatments. I’m going back on keto and may try carnivore as this stuff is going to kill me!

We have to crowd fund a peoples lab with no conflicts to run studies. Also, the whole health care industry needs a overhaul. Hospitals need to be incentivized to saves lives and use what ever means necessary. The standard of care should go away. Its corupted at this point.

Human Life is all about money....I think why I watch stuff like this is because I feel that knowledge is everything in preventative measures. I don't actually think either that a majority of the population have a clue about what is going on behind the scenes regarding new treatments as they never get to hear about them, and they believe there is only one treatment and wholly trust their Goverments. Decades have shown that Goverments let their people down so why do people still believe in their trust.

The doctor’s statement that cancerous mitochondria put into a healthy cell will cause cancerous, fermenting-powered growth vs. a nucleus from a cancer cell put into a cell with healthy mitochondria not resulting in cancerous growth does appear to mean that genes( found in the nucleus) are not that involved with cancer. It’s toxins, diet, stress, lack of sleep that really pull the trigger.

My exercise routine got boring. I made a cable crossover rig with pulleys eye screws, dowels for handles and five gallon buckets tied to the end on the floor to fill for weights. I just love the feeling to get started. Then i move to the stationary bike a do some hiit cycles. Then I'm ready to do curls presses squats etc. I do the mat last because i hate getting up and down when I'm cold. Crossovers on pulleys got me back into lifting more i go three times a week into my basement for an hour. After a month its changed everything.

Over a year ago, I had a client who was dying with cancer. He was home and not working anymore. His wife had to quit her job to care for him. When I last spoke with him, I asked how he was doing and feeling. He was okay and doing what he could to prepare for his death. I inquired if he was doing anything different to change his eating habits. He said he was just following what his doctor told him. He continued to eat the standard American way. I also noticed bottles of soda on his back patio. He did state that he was having troubles holding down food, and was loosing weight fast. He was rather thin and gaunt at this time. I challenged him to try something different in his eating... Quit the sodas, forget the carbs, and eat more meat. I stated that if he was going to die anyways, 'why not give it a try?' I told him to prove them wrong. He continued on with his remaining life, following the advice of his doctors, and died a year back. Unfortunate, the medical authorities don't have the best interests for their patients.

I have Polycythemia Vera Blood Cancer and I have felt all along that my diabetes encouraged this cancer. After watching this, I feel I am correct in my thoughts.
I started a keto lifestyle 2 years ago, and after I started, my blood work was doing very well, I slipped up last year after we lost my Dad, Mom & brother to various problems and my numbers started to rise! In the last two weeks I am back on track and am already feeling the results of I living properly.
Thank you so much for this presentation, it makes me feel there is hope!
My thoughts are that besides the fact that all these disgusting treatments are money makers..many also have an ego problem and won't ever admit they are wrong ...which is Sick

Where I live, the testing companies won't let you have a breast ultrasound unless you have a mamogram (X-ray) first, even if your doctor orders one. What is wrong with this picture when a testing company determines what test you can and can't have.

Is L-Glutamine the same a glutamine?

I 've had cancer (bladder removed 2018 no chemo)and my wife died last year from cancer bladder and metastasis (or rather sepsis stemming from treatment and its effect on immune system ) So I have had my share. In the case of my wife I tried to influence her and the medical staff around her - the onkologist too , to at least NOT give her sugar filled energy drinks but rather help with the correct diet. Of course I failed. They probably don't even know the correct diet, now do they? I am angry with the arrogance and ignorance of yellow brick road doctors. They gave up and so did my wife eventually ( diagnosed 2020 January ) after about 18 months.
We need second opinion experts to challenge main stream medicine from a peer point of view . You guys do this . Thank you for that. The science mainstream doctors rely on is often tainted to say the least. (according to Dr Shawn Baker ) I heard claim that(from BMJ I think)says perhaps less than 10 % of ALL medical activity has actual scientific basis - and we cannot even trust that 10 % to be sound it seems. I trust nobody anymore unless they welcome questions and challenge of their thesis.
Again , thank you both .

In addition to bad diets, our dogs & cats are also walking on lawns and flowerbeds that have been sprayed with weed & bug killers and then they sit down and lick their feet. We are poisoning them with terrible diets and chemicals Sigh!

I am only 23:48 into video. Thoug sugar has bern mentioned:
One of the negatives with sugar that hasn't yet been mentioned is how it feeds yeast & fungus which is something most always if not in all Cancer patient's aside a few other situations they are dealing with and plays a role of inviting cancer. Lack of oxygen contributes to Cancer. + a few more equations. Is what I have learned through my year's of education. (Natural Health) Some thing's take a person to the state of Cancer aside damaged mitochondria. Don't you agree? I'm definitely not saying that damaged mitochondria isn't a key my own son and the fourth grade ended up with cellular miscommunication. And it was slamming him hard! The medical field wasn't figuring any of it out. I took it to someone that had a PhD and not your health, and all sort of areas of Health! For the consultation with her I included my son's pediatrician. Because she also used blood work, but she reads it differently than what those in the medical field do. I really can't explain that in details some of that is above my level of educational understanding.
But, because of how she use the blood work, tead it) she was able to pin point weaknesses to help her understand my son's body & what he needed to correct it all. With everything she suggested there was only 1 prescription needed. But, she helped me achieve the safest pharmaceutical product that there wasn't any way to get around the situation. (Back then anyway. Not sure of these day's.)
Injust a few day's my son himself noticed the difference of how much better he felt. We did have to monitor the levels that one pharmaceutical not to over throw my son's body into the a different negative. It had to do with the Thyroid. His body was struggling before this lady helped us. His bidy Temp was going down to 94 degrees in the summer time. Southern Louisiana summer time. And what other negatives he was experiencing: lethargic terribly! I'm Grateful she helped. So was my son's Pediatrician. It was definitely a huge part of a mi tochondria issue, with one other thing tapping in as well. Before everything was said and done I also had our home tested for toxins. Sure enough we had been living in multiple kinds of toxic molds! I wasn't feeling as bad as he was because I was already using an herbal that when you were he contaminated by those kinds of toxins it literally helps you to feel better. But how it was severely taxing on me was I had undergone a cervical fusion. What I learned after the fact is that when you are exposed to toxic molds it does not allow nerve damages to heal! The pain wouldn't go away & had both my Dr/ Neuro Surgeon a bit baffled. As for the toxic mold my son was allergic to all molds. His body also didn't have the capability to push thos toxins out! That was the onky other pharmaceutical that had to be temporarily used. We moved to a different residence a total of 3 x's to escape toxic mold issues!

Fantastic talk. Thank you so much Dr Chaffee and Dr Seyfried for this talk. I will share with my family and friends. Thankfully no one has cancer however my mother has had pre-cancerous uterine cells and my father has suffered with T2 diabetes — now reversed with a keto diet! 5 months carnivore right now and will eat this way for life. It’s amazing what happens to the body when you stop eating refined carbohydrates and just stick to animal protein.

Absolutely awesome video! Two comments, if I may... regarding why the system stays the way it is, (besides the money)..... hypothetically, of course, if those truly behind the curtain on a global scale thought it would be better for the world's population to be less, would they want these methods being used widespread? Also, for a number of reasons, health being high on the list, I've long advocated that the best first step would be to simply end all sugar subsidies. This would have a positive cascade of effects both health wise due to decreases in use cause by cost increases and the reduction of tax money going where it shouldn't.

They always say radiation is as low as a cross country plane trip. I worry that my DNA is being destroyed with each one, yet if I refuse I am told to get the surgury it us required. Can you please advise what you think, and what I should do. Thank you!

Just sent a message to my oncologist. I have Endometrial cancer that metastasized to the small intestine and colon. Just learned this 2 weeks ago after surgery and a resection. Already planned on declining Chemo before learning about this. Anyway emailed them that I'm interested in metabolic therapy and plan also to decline radiation treatments. If I have less than a few years I'm moving to NM to die with dignity. EDIT: Actually, it looks like I do have less than a few years based on what I research on my ownsome. I wasn't researching other therapies --- this just happened to pop into my YouTube channel and I never search cancer on youtube.

It’s hard and so frustrating to see your loved ones in full denial. They say I am not sick why should I change my diet? Why people don’t understand that good diet/healthy habits today means health tomorrow? They think eating everything and doing nothing about it, won’t affect them in the long run just because they are no sick yet. Ugh 😑

This interview is pretty good. I hope they go into what foods to eat. I think the doc mentioned not to have any Glutamine (?). I will have to look up foods that have this. I like that he talks about STATIN DRUGS as well!! I learned a long time ago that if your HDL (part of your cholesterol) is 60 or above you don't need statins!!! Also, if one is taking a statin be sure to take Ubiquinol with it!! This is a supplement that I was told needs to be taken with statin. If you can avoid them do so!! To raise your HDL you can eat more avocados and use coconut oil for cooking!!!

Thanks for having Dr. Seyfried on. I wish more doctors would buck the system and prescribe keto/carnivore diets. People like to blame cancer on their genes/family history, but it is probably triggered by toxins that we’re exposed to , poor lifestyle and diet, especially excess carbs.

I have had breast cancer x3. 2002, 2012, with positive nodes and local in dermal layer 2016....I now am cancer free, doing a keto and leaning toward carnivore diet. I started following the Budwig protocol, but she recommended a low fat diet, I eat alot of healthy fats. I take D3 and K2. 5000iu of D3 and 125 mcg of K2. I eat no sugar, rare carbs. My Oncologist wants me to take Anastrizole again after 4 years on Faslodex, I took that nasty med for 4 years....horrible side effects, including high Triglyceride, liver enzymes and cholesterol.....not taking it. She warns me that breast cancer will return, I tell her I will go the diet route. I do intermittent fasting and eat meat and eggs. No soy, etc. Cancer Loves Sugar.......

Not in the medical field but what the Prof says makes total sense and as usual its big corp making huge profits basically from peoples suffering either by selling junk food or medicine, it doesn't matter how many die or dont recover from cancer there are massive profits therefore it will never change but we need experts like Prof Seyfried to keep up the good work, i dont eat meat or fish so what is the best advise for non meat eaters presumably its mainly cutting out the Carbs/Sugar and eating organic veg pulses etc.

There are most likely people that are in it for the right reason to help and they don’t know this information because it wasn’t taught to them. Or they were told it is not based in

Great chat guys.insurances,,, Warning to people that have trauma cover for illness, accident, disability death etc.DID you know here in Australia some insurance company's won't pay up your policy if you get cancer and don't have chemo or radiation treatment.they won't pay up for you to have natural therapies.ask your insurer.(not the private health for hospital or dental insurance)it's a traumatic, accident or ,death insurance.

This is one of the best videos I've ever watched its like a crash college course on cancer and advanced metabolic mitochondria research wow!!! Professor Thomas is brilliant and very caring about the health of others like yourself. Thanks Doctor Chaffee because of caring Doctor's like you I'm getting healthier I've lost 40 lbs now and my A1c is down to 5.4 from 9.3 and off of my type 2 diabetes medicine I'm 70 yrs old and no longer on any medication because of the ancestrial appropriate carnivore diet. I started July 1st and went cold turkey I went through alot strange feelings in my body they are kinda of hard to explain and I'm feeling more normal now I've only fasted intermittently on some days of the week I'm contemplating on a 3 day water fast with minerals how do you feel about this Doctor, thanks, Avery

I’m curious if the Carnivore Diet would be effective in the treatment of a neuro-inflammatory disorder which devastated my body after an injury during PT. It took a 9 month round of specialists due to its rarity, but a Vein specialist knew immediately upon seeing my 1st limb that was affected. It attacked all 3 nervous systems, spread to 3 limbs one after the other; the autonomic nervous system went haywire…so libel blood pressure, then tachycardia; gastrointestinal inflammation. A drug company, Lily I believe, just received a ‘go ahead’ from the FDA under the Orphan Drug Act criteria. I guess I should state that I do battle against RSDS/CRPS. I went from being a Scottish Highland Dancer, Bagpiper, 5 mile per day speed walker; to being wheelchair bound in just one year. I have my 3rd SCS Implant (cervical) *Boston Scientific, which I’m grateful to say knocked down the fire in my arm by 60%. My neurosurgeon is hoping to restore circulation to my legs (your brain tries to ‘divorce’ the offending body parts by closing down valves affecting circulation) by implanting a 2nd SCS (lumbar). My curiosity is awakened bc I am still highly inflammatory 10 years into this disease, (no shoes, socks, blankets, breezes/fans, change in temperature, etc), which is rare in a rare disorder. There’s literally no research as there’s not enough of us, even though we rank highest on the McGill Pain Scale. Needless to say, I’m open to any or every possibility to improve my situation as naturally as possible. I am looking for a way to work with/help my body & glial cells calm themselves down! Thank you both for your work, wisdom and research!

I pray this information helps others. I was to late for my brother. I have learned about Carnivore, fats and glucose about one year ago, right after my beloved brother died. He had a brain tumor, the steroids, surgery and treatment was successful only to get non Hodgkin’s lymphoma six month later. And, now chemo and four months later caught COVID and died. Knowing what I know today, surgery was fine and that is it! And move to a full fat carnivore diet would have cured him. Dr Thomas and Dr Anthony please continue fighting the good fight. You will save many others … I was to late in learning about this.

I'm a bresilien one and I have prostate cancer initial adenocarcinoma. I've already knew The Warburg's approach about cancer metabolism and cetogenic diet, because I had kidney cancer at 2020. However I see this live headed for glioblastom cancer. That's fair of course, but there are others deviations. Beyond prostate cancer I had cronic kidney deasease stage 3. How can I harmonize or conciliate this condition with cetogenic diet without kill my kidneys and avoid dialysis?

I understand the metabolic therapy for a low carb diet to fight glucose fed cancer cells/tumours. But what metabolic protocol/diet do you implement for a glutamine fed cancer? It certainly can't be a high carb die?... This is the only thing in the presentation that is not explained. (unless I missed it or misunderstood)

With all the 100’s of Billions donated , how could they not be on track , other pocketing the money instead of pitting it into serious research. Same with the junk food everywhere you look, in the stores.
Its taken awhile , fell off the wagon of carnivore several times, but Anthony kept me on track to keep trying. Now i can eat meat, n not crave other things.
Im down 40 lbs , got away to go, but very thankful to Anthony.

Well, I am guessing most people do not have access to doctors and clinics which provide good information and treatment, certainly in the UK. Therefore to some extent we have to help ourselves as well as be subject to conventional treatment. So as a roundup are we saying in the nutshell that if cancer is present in the body we shout cut out carbs and sugar?

The amygdala never ceases to record engrams to the body mass. Does that not have a knock on affect to the viability of an organism through the mitochondria that each organism inherits through the female genome? (Just pondering.) Clearly ketones are preferable. Autophagy is so under estimated. Of course, the business model is the equivalent to cancer in the economy.

Dr Chaffee, I bought two copies of your book, and loved listening to this episode again, with the transcript from Chapter 4. I'm hoping my local public library will catalog your book, if I donate it, so it can reach more people. There are a lot of Vegan books on the shelves, but Carnivore, which seems more natural to me, seems so foreign to many others. Thanks for all you do. I have learned so much from your podcasts.

Can you imagine how powerful and impactful it would be if good people in healthcare realized grassfed beef can be a treatment modality and preventative for all our chronic illnesses? It would bolster the entire supply for cow farmers. They'd be given every amount of funding They'd ever need to feed our entire population and make us healthy.

On a lesser note, I had a fungus on my Left Great toe. I tried treating it with Terbinafine (Lamisil), to no avail. It made me sick. I then tried Tea Tree Oil which gave me arrhythmias. Next, I tried Bleach. Nothing worked.
Just short of two tears ago, I started a Paleo diet, transitioned to Keto about ten months later and into Carnivore. I’ve been total Carnivore since July. My “infected” toenail spontaneously delaminated and began to regrow. As I write this, November 13, the nail on my Left Great toe has almost completely regrown, the nail bed is healthy as are all of them.
If eating Carnivore changed and healed my fungal infection, imagine what it can and will do for one’s health.

Thanks so much for this interview! So good! I will be forwarding it on to a few clients of mine, all women who have had breast cancer in the last 5 years..
My daughter and I were very damaged by toxic indoor molds followed by new tick bites and given multiple tick diseases. It’s been 10 years of illness and I’ve tried plant-heavy diet with no red meat, fresh veggie juice, fasting, intermittent fasting, keto… it all helped initially..
I was shocked and didn’t believe my functional medicine Dr when he told me that the most unhealthy and nutrient deficient patients of his were the vegans.. at that time I believed plant food would heal anybody of anything.
I’ve had so many challenges to my beliefs and so many paradigm shifts about food and health since my daughter was born 14 years ago..
I suffered severe rhabdomyolysis triggered by bartonella & Ehrlichia.. after the first time, my body just craved meat & fat, I couldn’t get enough.. but I kept on trying to eat plants thinking that was healthier.. I kept reacting to more and more plants and it became so frustrating! What could I eat anymore?! Only raw eggs in full fat coconut milk didn’t cause a reaction.
Then I accidentally stumbled upon Judy Cho’s channel and listened to many of the interviews, which led me to dr chaffe & Dr baker and Bart Kay and others = mind blown!
I tried eating plain steak with just butter & salt & no sauce.. I had no reaction. So I guess this is what my body is really wanting for the last 6 years so I’m finally listening. I have many local organic farmers who pasture their animals who I started buying from. I’ll also be transitioning my cats to full carnivore- why is ALL the pet food so full of peas & lentils & rice & potatoes?! I was at the pet store today in the city and there wasn’t one brand that had all-meat kibble!
I’m struggling to eat enough.. I barely can get 1000 calories in me. I’m not very active due to all the fatigue & muscle wasting from the tick diseases but I’m hoping it gets better. I do about 70% fat 20-25% protein and still a few carbs but it’s less than 10% now.
I talk to my daughter about all this and encourage her to continue to reduce carbs & fruit and eat more meat. She has juvenile arthritis along with chronic tick disease & she also lacks proper jaw joints so anything even remotely chewy is difficult for her. It will be a few years before they will do surgery to give her artificial jaw joints and jaw advancement. But she is open to much of it. I don’t want to force her and have her rebel (she is at that age!). She loves to be active and for several years when she would try to run & play with friends she would have such severe pain after that she would just sob & thrash around. It was so heartbreaking as a parent esp since I was in and out of the ER multiple times a week plus a few hospitalizations…
I just want us to have our health back! I used to run ultra distances on the trails plus a few road marathons. Then I couldn’t even walk around the block without it wrecking me for days. I am finally up to 10,000 steps at least 5 days a week. My heart yearns to run the trails again, it is my joy!
I am hopeful that changing our way of eating once again, to this primal ancestral way of meat, eggs & fat will help us get the health we desire. I’m already almost there and now I no longer feel guilty for not eating fruits & veggies… and I won’t push my girl to eat them anymore either. Fruit for her will now be seasonal and in smaller amounts.
