You have not just filmed life growing, you have created art…the brilliant use of the camera, lighting, music, editing….you’ve created the art of life…from the smallest of things, we can see growth, and hope, and a future. Utterly brilliant.

One of the best "movies" I've ever seen. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes, feeling humble and grateful for the miracle of life. This was exactly the medicine I needed after a very stressful day. Thank you for your patience; I believe you will inspire millions with it. This movie deserves an award!

I planted an avocado when I was a kid, watered it and stared at it for a while. Til I got bored and forgot about it. Later my dad was getting rid of that pot and found it, he didn't know. But it had started growing roots so he replanted it in a diffrent pot. Around 18 years later it's still alive and going strong

I sit here, a 70-year-old man near tears, having my belief that we are privileged beings to live in a wonderous, amazing and oh so beautiful world reaffirmed. Thank you...................and kudos to your production values/quality as well. The music was so "right" that I may just listen to my tomato plants growing to see if I can hear that "tune".

Seeing these plants grow in a time lapse, I can't help feel how alive these things are, they just move in a different frame of time than we do. The time lapse merely accelerates their movements to match the timing of ours.

I have done a few timelapses of flowers, many years ago around 2005. It is surprisingly hard to keep exposure and a fixed position. This video shows an understanding how to deal with that, VERY well done. I am impressed.
What surprised me the most when I did my timelapses was the MOVEMENT of the flower. While it thrived it made a circulative motion, when it stopped it took a few days and it wiltered...

I come here expecting a 15 years time lapse of a single plant.
Turns out it was 15 years total from multiple time lapse.
It was a pleasant surprise.
While i wanted the follow up of some plants, being able to see some of the smaller plants grow, wither, and bear fruit was such an amazing experience i am at a loss of words.
Beautiful.

Love to see how you can tell a plant is really alive once you timelapse them. Searching for light and those who need support search for support. Once it's placed they know to grab onto it. They know to grow the roots downwards into the ground. They know to grow towards the light. It's beautiful to see

Highest respect Boxlapse. You are surely a noble and good person to have the patience and skill not only to have the inclination to grow plants in this manner, but to take the effort to share it with others. The timelapse gives a great sneak preview into how nature achieves its miracles. I shared it with mum who is 87 and though she can't get about as before, was a very keen gardener. She loved it, concept, video, details and music.🙏

This was just too awe-inspiring! Here is the deal... I was moved to tears. Each plant tracked at which day of progress and the music selection. This video needs to be submitted to the Museum Of Science And Industry in Chicago to the curator. You will inspire a whole new generation of farmers or those who want beautiful plants at their windows. This video is far too important to just be here in YouTube. I feel the absolute need to visit my garden center and get started! Patience seems to be the key! Schools everywhere should have this video so kids everywhere could have classrooms grow plants for cleaner air and something to take home and possibly continue.
Thank you for this moving educational video! I am going to try a few. Thank you for the wide selection! All of your efforts are so worth it!

I don't know what's more impressive: Successfully sprouting seeds from things like strawberries and other hard to sprout fruits, the amazing timelapses, or averaging over 150 views per MINUTE for two months.
13 MILLION views in just under two months (59 days) is fantastic, and well deserved! I'm jealous, heh!

These videos are not timelapses. These are ode to patience.
Not only you, the videographer, but also from nature.
It also makes me realize generations and generations of agriculture history, the discovery on new plants, the experimenting on how to make them grow, even people who risked taste them to see if they were "good" or not.
Simply thank you.
P.S. Growing plants require more time than Plants vs. Zombies made me think.

i came here thinking i was going to see a fifteen year time-lapse of one plant, but i couldnt look away once they started!! music choices are lovely, very restful and calming video! then the time lapse literally shows us the 'time' of plants, reaching and holding on to supports to grow.....no one should say that plants are not living creatures....we just arent able to understand them.....heck, i bet rocks are alive too, just living in such a slow time that we dont perceive it.

It sooooo reminds me of this....
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."!

I guess I’m just not used to seeing how truly alive plants are, I always see them as inanimate and that’s farther from the truth. Fascinating and kinda creepy that plants really do move on their own.

Crazy how most seeds need very particular and careful handling to be able to grow successfully, but in the wild they just grow, seemingly, without issue.
Like some mushrooms for example, you have to be very very careful that you don't let the smallest amounts of contamination in or it will not grow and ruin the whole thing, yet they grow under cow poop and other places that has got to have a lot of bacteria and possibilities for contamination in that environment, yet they grow. It's incredible.

I love your videos and have been subscribed for some time. I know you have intense, good lighting because the plants grow so well, quickly and short and stocky, with dark green leaves. Plus the depth of field you have shows you have bright light! (I've done a few of my own, just casually). I'll gladly buy from your link to Horticultural Lighting Group, but what to buy? (EDIT-I read more in the More Info on your channel, it answered my question. THANKS!) Thanks, and maybe someday I'll have something worth posting!

Gosh incredible footage and 15 long years of patience.
Did you actually add nutrients (fertiliser) to the soil or was just pure water 💦?

That reminds me - I have to dig up that mango that's grown from a fallen fruit and has been there for a year or two. I just keep ignoring it but it can't be allowed to remain.
