Most common questions I get ...
1) "Doc, what BLOOD KETONE METER do you recommend?"
ANSWER: FORACARE: http://on.bozmd.com/fora6 (Promo-code: Dr.Boz)
It's accurate and takes only ONE test-strip to get results. YES!!
2) "Doc, what can I have while fasting?"
Salt + water are best.
Salt: http://bit.ly/3bkpZMl (Promo code: DrBoz) Sounds weird but it's strangely satisfying.
Black coffee - I prefer cold brew coffee.
Fasting tea Pique Teas:

Great information that's concise and easy to understand.
I have a coffee at 7am, eat at 12pm (big healthy meal) and 4pm (small meal). Excercise 6 days a week alternately between cardio and muscle training for 30 minutes in the evening before bed. Sleep early, and same cycle on repeat.
I'm at my healthiest ever now and have maintained a good weight, normal blood pressure and sugar. Life is great! 🤗🤗🤗

This is a clear, concise, and I think, really important presentation. We’ll give it a try starting today. But like several of the commentators below, I’m already halfway along — KETO, intermittent fasting, narrow feeding window, daily HIIT and alternate-day weight training (on it over 1 1/2 yrs). And it worked, dropping BS, weight, and BMI to normal ranges in weeks, well, a couple of months. But the BS/Ketone ratio (see Dr. Boz’s excellent video on insulin resistance measurement) didn’t stay there—back to the danger zone in a couple months. And as a bad-diet-diabetes-blurred-vision-stroke victim, I don’t just wave this off.
What’s new and seemingly critical to me in Dr. Box’s presentation is the early-window, no-powders eating advice. I’ll try it, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE EXERCISE ADVICE? A couple of medical guys I trust suggest exercise at the end of the fasting cycle for max benefit, and seems to work for me. What’s Dr. Boz’s opinion on this? Very early workouts, followed immediately by the narrow-window, B-L-D compressed meal window?
I’ll try that till I learn otherwise (maybe a video on KETO/exercise from Dr. Boz). But Guys, I really think this stuff is important, and you honestly don’t want an insulin/blood sugar-driven stroke to underscore it.

Such a great video! I'm three years keto & over 100 lbs. Lost within the first 8 months. I just maintain now but she is right on everything & explains it beautifully. I never understood why almond & coconut flour act like regular flour to my body.. I'm also from Alaska so the light and dark concept of the sun changes for me as winter is almost always dark. And summer it stays light. I'll be more conscious of early eating now & stick my my keto lifestyle.

Pretty straightforward. I do intermittent fasting with a meal window of noon(ish) to 5:30-6:00pm. Lean protein, green veggies and lots of water. The food size makes complete sense. The smaller the food particles the easier and faster the processing. Hadn’t thought about that. Thanks.

Excellent video! I've been doing keto / omad since the 6th of January. I've lost about 12lbs, but my sleep is the problem.... I never connected the circadian rhythm with eating during the day, I've been having my meal around 6pm...it makes it easier for me to stay on omad. I guess I'll have to try bumping it up earlier in the day - thanks so much!

Moving the feeding window to the morning has been a great idea. I have less anxiety in the morning and at 10pm I am sleepy, after a whole life believing I was a ‘night owl’ and suffering to adjust to working hours

This is my first video from you that I have watched and I liked it. I hate skipping breakfast while intermittent fasting with one or two meals a day. I usually get a severe headache from skipping breakfast and then eating too late. Trying to get rid of that headache is just as hard as trying to get rid of the fat on my body. I am going to try eating breakfast closer to sunrise keeping it closer to keto friendly as possible and then maybe not eating again till the next morning or having a second meal at 12 or 1PM and nothing else after the sun goes down. What you said makes a lot of sense. Thanks doc!

Intermittent fasting is much much easier to do when you eat later in the day so advice #3 I find very weird. I was - and still am at times - a HUGE breakfast eater yet can easily skip it. But put food in me early and forget about fasting the rest of the day. Think of our hunter/gatherer ancestors. It was probably rare they had much to eat before they went out for it. The glucose produced by our bodies in the morning likely comes from our stored glycogen and fat.

Oh my...😭 This explains EVERYTHING! I've been on the keto diet for 28 months. I dropped my weight..85 lbs in that first 6 months. But all these keto friendly things started hitting the stores this past year and a half 😏🙄 Despite being low carb STILL...symptoms of my sugar problems reared up. Tingly feet, sleepy after eating...even after bullet-proof coffee. (Stevia to taste of course) sleeplessness and more. I think deep down I knew it was the fake sugar. It really is an addiction. Thanks Dr. Boz. I miss the way I felt in those first months. Silly me.

Dr Boz, I'm 15 kg overweight, even though my normal eating pattern is 1-2 meals a day. I've done OMAD for years on and off. I left sugar and wheat, switching to homemade chickpea flour wraps when I want to have bread. Lately I've been exercising nearly daily, intense cardio. But none of that helped me shift even one pound. I dont even have a waist anymore, its all just one thick block of fat all over the abdomen. I never look at myself in the mirror anymore, dont buy clothes for myself anymore, and have limited my socialising because I just feel so repulsive. After watching this video I realise my timing is off. I miss breakfast, often miss lunch, and then have dinner with the whole family. I dont like having meals in the day because the kids are at school and hubby's at work so who wants to eat alone? But now I think I'll switch things up and have an early lunch instead, and nothing but water once the sun goes down.
What I'm struggling with is what to eat. You say mostly fat, but (a) I want my body to consume the fat its carrying rather than fat from food, and (b) what does eating mostly fat even mean??? A knob of butter for lunch? A half cup of thick cream for breakfast? What are we talking about here? Please help, I'm really stuck and feeling utterly hopeless.

Just discovered your videos and I love that they are short and full of information. I am most certainly insulin resistant and very overweight and discouraged. Ready to embark on some thing but I’m not sure watch after so many problems with every diet including keto and intermittent fasting. Not sure what to do next but I will keep researching and I’m very glad that you saved me from making a whole bunch of coconut and almond flour pancakes and enchiladas, which I might have done next if I hadn’t listen to this video!

Brilliant, thank you Dr. Boz, going to send this to my son, with hope that he and his wife will stop eating dinner after 8pm and sometimes much later than that. I've been preaching for 20 years that my son has diabetes on both sides, his father's and mine....but there seems to be no concern. It just breaks my heart to think what his future may bring, and he is going to be 50 in a couple weeks. I pray for wisdom and discernment everyday several times a day. His wife will not eat sugar but has no problem allowing the children and her husband to have it. One day I almost passed out as I watched her make her famous sweet-potato casserole as she poured white sugar into the mix. I was mortified and because I'm not allowed to say anything that might upset her....I had to sit back and watch everyone get served what she wanted them to have....except for my husband and me.

I agree. with this window, some recent studies show fasting improved by eating early instead of later. Problem with this(I've done it), is I work in the bar industry, and am up late. Tough to come home after work and not eat. But it can be done. Also, I like to work out in the morning fasted. So I guess I could workout still, then break it after the workout. One last point, people like me with families, enjoy having dinner with the kids at dinner time(ours is 5:30/6:00) so I usually eat 12:30-6:30 window. Even though some of this works better, you gotta go on your schedule, otherwise you will be in trouble. The point of the video about protein shakes/powders was very informative. Thanks.

Great info! Keto for almost a year now and my A1C is down to normal range and I lost 60 lbs. Cut out carbs to less than 25 grams a day. I recently started low carb protein shakes a few times a week and noticed my blood sugar levels climbing even though they are low carb... maybe your comment about powdered food answers my question about why...

I liked this because I've discovered that If I don't eat after dark, it's true, I sleep through the night without the usual insulin-resistance wake-up at 3:30-4:00am. I gave up keto a long time ago; it never solved that late-night wake-up.

Dr. Boz, if I follow your advice for three months, six months, or a year...., would my insulin resistance return to normal so that I can eat a normal amount of carbs? One more question if you don't mind. I find that if I exercise at an anaerobic level for an hour while fasting, I can drop my blood sugar to by 25 points to around 80. However, if my exercise is below my anaerobic level, my blood sugar drops much less dramatically. I understand that aerobic exercise burns more fat. So, in the long run which is better, aerobic or anaerobic exercise. Is it better to burn sugar or fat?

Dr. Boz, I live in Boston where we have some of our nation’s finest Doctors. Plus in my youth during my College years I was fortunate enough to conduct Research at The Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard Medical School 20 hours per week for 2 years. This lead me to my great interest in Nutrition and it’s inevitable impact on our Health. Sadly statistics show less than 5% of MD’s have any substantial education in Nutrition and instead follow Big Pharma’s stranglehold on Health Issues. I know as I have 2 major Health Issues and have successfully treated them by Diet since 2006 rather than take all of the TWELVE medications prescribed to me. YOU are the Wonderful Exception that the Medical Community would be wise to follow your example and we are fortunate to have you here on YouTube Thank You, Doctor !

As someone who was in ICU with pancreatitis and severely elevated a1c I was never told any of this. They made some assumptions after miss diagnosis. But during the education I was never told any of this. I wake up at sunrise naturally every day unless work makes me otherwise. If time and size makes a difference I'll be back to let you know in a few months. A1c without meds was 11.2. I'm at 8.1, 6 months later. I really want to fix my insulin resistance and not take meds.
I'm in decent shape so it's not weight related but I am resistant so maybe this will help get me to good again

At 72 years old and working out daily, I find "sparse protein" to be a ticket to chronic DOMS and muscle wasting. Maybe it would help if you defined "sparse" in this context? Also in context of carnivore diet which seems to be pretty popular and many claim to have reversed diabetes and insulin resistance on it.
Thank you!

Wow, I have a scientific mindset, studied these diets and nutrition in general and been on the keto diet for years and I learned something here!! I do have a question though, for awhile I have been fasting till later in the day, do my exercises then I eat. It seems that as soon as I eat I hit a real 3pm wall where I get really tired. So my question is I am really NOT hungry when I get up in the morning (but I usually get hungry in the early afternoon and again before I go to bed at night), is there something wrong with my rhythm, can it be fixed? Thanks! Great video!!! :-)

What messes me up even with omad, is having dinner too late and snacking afterwards. Everytime I have my last meal at 2:00pm and then don't snack I sleep like a baby. I'm going to try and bring that forward to maybe 11am.

I haven’t heard anyone talk about the timing and sliding the eating period toward breakfast. I try to fast 20 hours a day and always skip breakfast and lunch as they are the easiest to skip. I routinely check by BG’s and find they are always high in the am, even though I haven’t eaten for 12-14 hrs, so frustrating.

I have a problem with sprinkle protein... especially as we age. You need to activate MTOR to at least keep muscle and what if you are trying to exercise to keep or build muscle mass as you age? You need protein and not in a sprinkled way... I guess it also depends on where you start your journey, I get it that some people need a more drastic approach.
Exercise can also be a great contributor to fixing metabolic issues, especially anything that contributes to augmenting muscle mass.
Your videos are great by the way... not trying to critique but just trying to put a lot of information together... we get lost in all this info.

Thanks Dr. Boz. I needed this. For awhile, every time at sunset I would get blocked sinuses.
With fats... i was showing others how beef fat in a pan is very difficult to clean, it take very hot water and a degreaser... and it's bad for the home pipes and our own pipes. People consume heavy fats with alot of fast foods.
Yet Drs would say stay away from coconut oil because its bad for you, yet at body temp....it melts but its worse than heavy fats ??
Good cleaner lighter Oils help breakdown stubborn fats, grease and wax.

Interesting. A lot of folks have been pushing the idea of holding back on your first meal of the day and skipping breakfast, to increase fasting time. Maybe we should do the opposite, eating a lot of our protein and fat, early in the day.

It been snowing a lot in Ohio, haven’t seen the sun in a while. However, my body wakes up after 5hrs of sleep so I’m going to make believe the sun is out at that time. I had sardines for dinner, and I’m going to introduce anchovies as well (it’s that ok?) I put them on top of a slice of green pepper and cream cheese…so good.
Thank you for being so simple in your explanations!
I’m off to keep shoveling snow!
Love from Ohio! ♥️♥️♥️

That’s great Dr Boz how do you stop injections of insulin when you have high blood sugar ? Ok no carbs or sugar etc but do you start ? Do you stop the injections gradually? So what are the steps? that will be great if you provide a video that teaches every diabetic how to stop those evil injections. When it comes to diabetes people are ignorant and scared to do the wrong thing and harm themselves please tell all diabetics that are on insulin injections how to do it without harming themselves and thank you God bless

Good video, except for the Keto part ( eating only fats) since most of the patience with insulin resistance also have problems with fat metabolism. It would be also interesting to see how to adapt this key points to patients, since its very hard for most of them and usually most of them dont stick and dont respect this .
But yes, its nice and polite to keep telling them......

Hey doc i started to do intermittent fasting 9 days ago with 16:8 ratio ( goal is to lose belly fat) im not a fat person but i can say im skinny fat body type, yesterday steped on the scale and i saw that i lost 4lbs in my first week. my diet contains carbs mainly from wholemeal and whole grain bread, no processed food , no sugars, no fruit juice.
I want your opinion for this, should i stick to this plan or i need to do more ajustements?
Edit: Forgot to mention that i dont snack between my meals , i do 2 meals right now lunch at 1:30pm and dinner at 9:30pm then i go to bed after. No breakfast

I have started coming across studies regarding a high fat diet and dementia. Some are saying that a high fat diet contributes to dementia while at least one study says that only saturated fats increase risk for dementia. Have you investigated this topic? I lost my mother to dementia in 2020 and I started menopause right after, which of course has made me insulin resistant.

Those promoting One Meal A Day don’t ever recommend moving meal to the beginning of the day. They recommend fasting till about mid day. I am on keto. Eat three meals a day. Now have A1C of 5.1 down from 6.4. And lost over 50lbs. All without going to one or two meals a day. It’s not necessary to do that. Thank you for the video.

Doctor I need your help. I have been chubby since I can remember now I'm 62. I quit bread and starches more than 20 years ago, I don't eat starches of any kind no legumes, no wheat basically I follow a keto diet but I have never seen a trace of ketones in the test strips. I have two meals a day between 11 am and 4 pm I eat fat in avocados, whipping cream for my coffee and some sauces I eat mozzarella cheese a lot, I eat vegetables (love them) and salads. However losing weight is a battle for me let's say I lose 6 pounds and one day I couldn't eat at home and I ate rice with my lunch immediately next day I can be 4 pounds heavier just because that meal and it takes me months to get back. really I retain water a lot I guess. The only way I can lose some weight is water fasting 3-4 days in a row (zero solids) but I'm tired of it . During covid I was in a comma for three weeks and another week in recovery in the hospital and I couldn't eat anything basically I was fasting the whole month; I lost 20 pounds they told my sugar was too high around 123 in the morning I did not understand how afer 4 weeks of being feed with liquids my sugar was so high and since then my sugar is high all the time. Three years ago I followed a VERY VERY strict keto diet for six months three years ago and lost 15 pounds (never before I could do that). I had to travel and I paused the diet I got 20 pounds on in two weeks, how is that possible? My weight fluctuates 2-3 pounds from one day to the other Is that water or fat??

Great information, but failed to mention that the glucose the body creates at sun up is derived from stored fat in the body and eventually in the liver, which is good for people wanting to lose weight. So best to continue the fast started the evening before and through sleep, allowing for maximum breakdown of body fat, especially the deep fat surrounding our organs and evidenced by our protruding bellies, and then breaking that fast with a ‘breakfast’ later in the day with a Keto diet. I have lowered my weight, my A1C and my blood sugar numbers with this regimen.

Most insulin resistant people are probably eating too much throughout the day. and you want them to eat one meal at dawn? Pretty radical. I'm metabolically healthy and have a hard time eating twice per day in an eight hour window. Not pure keto but low carb, and the things that we can make with almond flour is one of the only things that keeps me going on it.

The premise of Early Time Restricted feeding (eTRF) holds great promise for IR patients. But where I get confused is the One Meal Daily (OMD). Older individuals who have IR are most likely to have lower absorption from reduced stomach acid. I just don't see how one meal a day is going to keep older individuals healthy. Eating early when the sun is up is great advice.

I still have wet dreams. also my focus is improved alot after 2-3 days of 18 hour fast and eating healthy i notice that.

I don't have an insulin problem but I have tried various radical dieting methods and they just don't work for me. One thing that does work well is intermittent fasting. When I do this, I only eat between 12pm - 8pm.

Eating only during daylight would be a problem for us here in the north. In the summer it is light from 5am to 10 pm. Hmm, sounds not too healthy to eat during all of this time. Then in the winter it's light from 7am to 6pm, a much shorter time period.

Chronic stress will mess up the insuline response very badly too. Not everyone eats carbs yet some of us can never lose the weight due to always high levels of cortisol, adrenaline, glucose in the blood.
In which case way longer periods of fasting are required or change of career.
Throw away your sugar free gum of any kind, it'll stimulate your insulin making the fasting useless.

Some doctors are saying to skip breakfast. If you eat early isn't that glucose level going to go even higher? We are to avoid high levels. Levels go up early and so it makes sense to wait till they come down some before you eat. Cutting carbs seems to help the most. That and cutting sugar.

I'm not sure but I believe that after eating the body uses a lot of energy to digest food . That's why people get lethargic after eating and want to sleep. Not a good thing when you need your men to lay bricks but they want to sleep.

Poor everyday Internal Medicine Docs just trying to pay off their med school loans. You are turning the treatment model on it's head with your YouTube vlogs 5, 20, 60 minutes to the general public. Jefferson and Franklin signed Declaration that changed the world. You, Westman, Hansen, Berry, et. al may want to sign a document, send it to Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos to market to the Medical Schools that supplement the Hippocratic Oath at graduation with a public education requirement not just blind obedience to pharma backed papers or evidence for drugs..... I hope anyway. Keep it up!

I love Dr Jamnadas on YouTube. It's OK to have a Whey Protein Shakes after working out intensely with weights or calisthenics. You want the spike of insulin to promote muscle reparation and growth at that time. This is the only time you can do this.(This is for normal people who are not diabetics and its just my humble opinion).

I understand the rationale, but early food makes me nauseated. I can tolerate an egg coffee, but that probably counts as a crushed protein and fat (I add butter and collagen too)? I sleep topsy-turvy so it isn't uncommon for me to be going to sleep around 5-7am and waking up between 1-4pm. In the winter it's possible to miss the sun entirely for weeks. If I wake up at 1p I don't want to eat before 2 or 3. If I wake at 9a, other than forcing down a coffee, I still don't want to eat before 1p. Is there a way to get over the food aversion? I've been like this since middle school/high school.

It isn't hard...type 2 diabetes is caused by excessive calorie intake over time. Not sugar. Not eating at night. Just. Eating. Too. Much.
Once you become insulin resistant then you DO need to watch your blood sugar and plan your meals out to prevent spikes...but that's not what caused your diabetes.

I had been on strict KETO for several months and was not seeing the results. I was insulin resistant and very overweight. I heard a video about the connection between CAFFEINE AND CORTISOL. COFFEE = HIGH CORTISOL = HIGH INSULIN = INSULIN RESISTANCE. I72 DAYS AGO I quit coffee and tea with caffeine. The fat began to come off. I have lost over 55 lb and more than 28 inches overall,I from 2X to size 14. This information was a game changer. CAFFEINE is a very serious addiction Doctors have failed to acknowledge and discuss.

I don't eat breakfast cause I'm not hungry in the morning. I am fasting now for 16-20 hours a day eating all my food in one sitting and I don't feel hungry for another 16-20 hours.
How long would that glucose and morning insulin last? So I could eat all my food at that time and it wouldn't affect the already present morning insulin and time? might be hard but I could try to give it a go.

“Stop eating carbs.” I have been doing that for weeks…keeping the carbs way down. Unfortunately, this does not work for compulsive overeaters - food addicts. We cannot overdo any major food group or time line. That kind of control always leads to even worse compulsive eating. Keto does not work for everyone. Why? Because weight loss and eating behavior is not a one size fits all. These are fad diets. Sorry. Moderation, moderation, moderation. Sure, this presenter is “right” - but that right-ness does not work for many people. There are no “rules” or diets that are “right” for everyone. So takeaway: yes, modify your carb intake. Do
Intermittent fasting BUT don’t ever allow yourself to become over-hungry so that you have stomach aches, headaches and cravings. Eat smaller meals. Make veggies your friends. Give up processed foods - eat natural. Limit your eating out. Cook at home as much as possible. Stop being so hard on yourself for not having the “perfect” body. No one can match a Victoria’s Secret or Dwayne Johnson physique forever, not even models or muscle-bound hunks. Eat rationally and enjoy your food -and your life. And meditate every day for peace of mind.

I am tired of this word that implies guilt about someone's situation that someone else knows nothing about. What about the homeless that pretty much eat any food, processed or not, that comes their way and have insulin resistance and poorer health as a result? Are THEY privileged?

Absolutely no ... protein powder does not stimulate insulin in any greater degree than if you ate a steak or any other protein source. I would like to hear the science behind why protein in powder form should make any difference when it comes to insulin. And ... we NEED protein. The only macro nutrient group we can live without is carbohydrates. We can't make it on fat alone. To draw a picture of protein as bad for glucose and by that insulin production is just stupid.
My way of attacking this would be to be careful with too much carbs, especially what type of carbs you eat. Eat quality protein like eggs, steak, fish without any fear. Add quality types of fat to your diet as well. Even diabetics will see that the picture is not as black and white as it is told in this video. Don't believe me? Well, just experiment with different types of food and measure your blood glucose afterwards.

The problem is not the production of insulin, the problem is the fat in your cells gumming up the system and preventing insulin from doing its job which is to allow carbs and sugars into the cells for energy. Cutting fat allows your system to do its job, using insulin to open your cells to the energy it craves and needs for a healthy life. The fat you eat is the fat you wear - unfortunate truth.

From the Mayo Clinic:
The downsides:
While the research is exciting, there's very little evidence to show that this type of eating is effective — or safe — over the long term for anything other than epilepsy. Plus, very low carbohydrate diets tend to have higher rates of side effects, including constipation, headaches, bad breath and more. Also, meeting the diet's requirements means cutting out many healthy foods, making it difficult to meet your micronutrient needs.
Mayo's verdict:
While the ketogenic diet may be recommended for some people with uncontrolled epilepsy, the high fat content — and especially the high level of unhealthy saturated fat — combined with limits on nutrient-rich fruits, veggies and grains is a concern for long-term heart health.

How old are you? Because you've got like test tube baby skin. Real teenagers oftentimes have spot or blemish. Your skin is Kevin in home alone. How do you do that? No shade if you had a procedure because it worked amazing. But if that's basically the results of diet, wow wow.

One of the best talks on insulin. Great charts from real people showing how different foods really affect insulin for many hours: carbs, protein, fats, and the real meaning of fasting blood glucose. I so identify with everything said, I m the typical overweight 60yo with tons of insulin resistance, 10 weeks into keto meals slowly correcting it. Thanks for this great video🤗🤗🤗

One of the best explanations of insulin resistance I have ever heard. I still like getting my fasting insulin measured. I know it is not the best measure of progress, but I have seen dramatic decreases from 69 to 16 now after 1 year of eating a ketogenic diet. However, I cannot get my fasting glucose below 90-100, even with metformin and being in daily ketosis of one year.

Thanks for the Insulin Resistance recap. I'm >20 grams total carbs per day. Taking your BHB capsules (no sweeteners). Done two 36 hour and a 48 hour fast. I'm starting my first 72 hour fast this evening. When not fasting I'm 80 to 98 Glucoses and 0.5 to 1.8 Ketones. Fasted numbers are slightly better.......Getting the vocabulary down. I'm motivated. I missed seeing you live today because your so great!!! Happy Memorial Day. God Bless America.

QUESTION:
Why 20g of TOTAL carbs? Isn't NET carbs that what effectively goes to your bloodstream since fibers aren't digested?
Thx and greetings from Brazil. :-)

I've been doing Keto since December. I also intermittently fast. I've gone 2x in as many weeks to give blood but they won't let me because my iron is 11.7 and 11.9 respectively. I've been taking copper. Supposedly it is supposed to keep iron from accumulating in cells. I thought the first week my iron was low because the day before I ended a 115 hr fast. But I have only been doing 16/8s this past week. I had liver 2x this past week and I eat a lot of spinach. Is Keto causing my iron to be low.

What about artificial sweeteners, is there any similar research on whether they affect insulin or not? There are lots of claims around this topic out there, but very little evidence it seems...

This makes me feel so bad. I've been following the keto plan (with <10 g. carbs/day) for 15 months; eat only 1 time a day - at 1 PM; and have felt so proud that I brought my morning fasting glucose from 245 down to 110 and my A1-C's from 6.7 to 5.3. My weight loss of 50 pounds - into a "normal" zone has been a lovely bonus. Your "scolding", breaks my pride, my confidence, and my motivation to continue. I hope when I have my 6 month labs done in October my doctor is kind enough to praise me and encourage me to continue the journey.

I think I am gonna have to stop EVEN THE STEVIA AND MONK FRUIT SWEETENERS...😕 go FASTING and OMAD only because I just can't lose weight on anything but greens and protein. And even then, I lose my electrolytes every day. I only feel ok with high potassium and minerals and liver tablets... . One slice of potato, low carb keto recipe bread or anything that even tastes like a carb... My belly swells up. No weight loss...
