And each of them is a living organism. And we don't think about the fact that we're this massive collection of cells collaborating to have this conversation” [14:33] “The single most fundamental part of your diet is “sugar is poison.” Right? Sugar causes neuroinflammation - absolutely clear. It causes cardiac disease - absolutely clear, right? Sugar feeds cancers. And so getting rid of sugar is the most important move anybody can make.” [33:13] “One of the things that people should know is we're always developing cancers, the body is always developing cancers, it's just that your immune system finds them and zaps them.” [1:03:37] “Regenerative medicine is the notion that we can use stem cells and exosomes and growth factors to help regenerate our body - to help regenerate muscle, brain, all of the tissues of our body.” [H:MM:SS] “I think the biggest business opportunities on the planet are going to be age reversal and health tech and biotech.” [1:14:46] “Everyone knows about someone who went to the hospital and, “Oh my god, you've got stage three or stage four cancer.” It didn't happen that morning. If you detect cancer at stage three, or stage four, your chance of a cure is like 10%. If you detect it at stage zero, stage one, it's like 99%.” [1:30:06] Follow Dr. Peter Diamandis: Website: https://www.diamandis.com/ Twitter: https://bit.ly/3oQp8M4 Instagram: https://bit.ly/3Btc04h Order your copy of Life Force here: https://amzn.to/3qrXhDa Chapters Introduction 0:00 What sparked Peter’s interest in longevity 2:05 Where we are now with DNA technology 5:51 Genetics vs. epigenetics 10:04 What causes aging at the cellular level 14:23 The chemistry of aging and longevity 20:37 441 Comments rongmaw lin Add a comment... He was active, in shape and occasionally worked at a local furniture store where he took heavy bed frames, sleeper sofa frames and other metal parts to the recycling center for the store. He would heave them into his truck easily, go to a convenience store on the way, playfully flirt with younger girls, tell jokes and was an all around funny, pleasant person to be around. I couldn't believe it when he told me he was 93. He showed me his license and all I could do was tell him he had great genes. He told me, "It ain't my genes kid. The secret to a long life is hard work and happiness. I work because I like to and I'm happy because it gives me a break from my wife!" I remember laughing and him telling me "If you ever stay married for almost 70 years you'll know what I'm talking about!" He had more energy and spunk than most guys I knew in their 20's. I had heard he lived to be 102. He was a great guy and I learned a valuable lesson in meeting him. Stay in shape and don't stress so much. 52 Erica Luke Erica Luke 2 months ago YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE GREAT TO START BUT YOU HAVE TO START TO BE GREAT! —MRS BLOSSOM JEFFERSON 47 Luis Bereciartu Luis Bereciartu 2 months ago (edited) This is all amazing stuff however the scary part is that the groups of people that are at the helm or are financing a large part if not most of these operations are the same or adjacent/subservient to the same people that have shown in the last couple years (or a lot longer for those that have done the research) they do not have the people's well-being in mind. We are less than cattle to them and are treated as such. Our illusions of liberties are more like conditional privileges that the moment that your presence is inconvenient they are taken away and worse you are subjected to a spectrum of terrible things. Adding more tools to the arsenal of ways that we can be proved, examined, quantized and monitored is a double-edged sword to say the least. My hope is in the fact that as these tools become less expensive they are being democratized and people at some point will render the current infrastructure of power obsolete 36 Ahmet Kaan Ahmet Kaan 2 months ago ❗ 6 GUIDELINES FOR LIFE: 1) When you are alone, mind your thoughts. 2) When you are with your friends, mind your tongue. 3) When you are angry, mind your temper. 4) When you are with a group, mind your behaviour. 5) When you are in trouble, mind your emotions. 6) When God starts blessing you, mind your ego. 78 Scott K Scott K 1 month ago Dr Pete: "You Can reverse your age!" I understand that's just the society we live in where things only matter to the almighty dollar--but understanding that doesn't make it suck any less. 7 Chris Brown Chris Brown 1 month ago @53:03 I can't believe people are still saying this! 🤬 The average human lifespan was never 30. That was only because of an average based on infant mortality. If you lived past childhood you were likely to live into your 60s/70s and beyond. In fact our hunter gatherer ancestors were much healthier than we are today in many respects. 9 Hugh Hines Hugh Hines 1 month ago Heavy meat…“It makes me feel so good…and growth is giving my body the signal that everything is abundant, and all is well…so that would explain why I feel good, I can add muscle mass, I feel phenomenal, but I’m not giving my body the signal for longevity…” Am I missing something here? Isn't the feeling of "abundance" something humans have always pursued? Feeling "phenomenal" is a sign of early death? This whole "longevity" thing is just a hypothesis on which a lot of people are betting money on and sacrificing today for some theoretical longer future. Note none of those involved with the promotion of "longevity" are 100+. 1 Bobby Hebert Bobby Hebert 1 month ago Mostly fascinating and informative, I disagree with one explanation. Our ancestors did not hit 30, and then go to pot. That describes our modern, civilized population. Hunter gatherers, if they survived the elements, starvation and violence, and disease, age quote well into later decades. Modern hunter gatherers demonstrate this principle. 4 downbntout downbntout 2 months ago (Wondering if Eminem gets NMN from M&Ms?) 4 Deborah Meek Deborah Meek 1 month ago I hope so, because now I am 40! The only consistent energy we have! Lol I here people talk about hardware & software. When it is all seen in its truth we all see the same thing. Problem is all the names people choose are the only confusing points. Every thing is ENERGY everything as in say a person. It's truthfully an orchestra or symphony of vibrations, the vibrations are expressions of frequencies, Frequencies are the information transfered between the energy systems. Drugs do not makes you immortal, your ability to direct the frequency Intend the frequency, inform the space around you as if it's a balloon. This energy is the conduction of your vessel or body. When your breathe correctly you conduct current that informs not only your body, your environment of the charge as a magnet. A magnet can only attract what's it's charged to & can only repell what it's charged too. So if you have any belief system @ all you are literally the physical expression of your belief. If you've no belief system you will be an expression of your intention. If you've no intention, your ability to remain here in this dimensional (magnetic) (positive/negative) reality. You must realize you are the programmer of your (Tune & Tone) Or you are the allower of others to tune or untune untone your vibratory body. You can make up all these names for DNA RNA Tho it comes to this. You know what sounds good or not good. If it doesn't sound good & you try to adjust it, you're adjusting a shitty tune... Your dying If you feelgood & adjust it to feeling better. Your tune isn't suppose to become more complicated, it's to become more pure. There are those who complicate by naming, messing directly with the EQ(equipment tuning) Your doing is not tuning your doing is playing the tune & allowing your song to be tuned thru your amazing vessel. Your body is the EQ Not you! Build a clean pure healthy body & have a clean pure healthy song! Build a body with lies of processed food & lies of environment then your song will sound of lies. Death is only for those who are tricked into it. Truth is Immortality. Truth is you can not know what you do not know. If you are able to know the difference between INFINITE & finite Then you are immortal. The thing that has most messed up is fear. Fear that they might be dying... Some have fear of falling off the planet! Seriously! Yet do they fall off? Not 1 person has ever fallen off earth! Never! I've said enough here, if you are unable to see what is in these words then you will be in deep verses of a song of death. If you realize you are in complete control even of that control is used to allow others to control you. 🙏 Breathe, intend & inform. Period! 4 GGR TheMostGodless GGR TheMostGodless 1 month ago (edited) "Genes are not destiny, your epi-genome is what genes are on and what genes are off...you can think of your genes as the keys on a piano, and your piano player is your api-genome." Dane Rose Dane Rose 1 month ago I keep watching the faces over the decades of people at the helm of this movement. They are aging faster than average due in part to hard work on the project. It also brings up the question: 90% of people make fundamental changes only out of fear and trauma or don't make them at all and our identities (patterns of thinking, feeling, speaking, doing and being) are decades to centuries behind best practices already known. If death is the best way to re-set the identity of a population that has not mastered the science of conscious identity development then it may be bad for the species and planet for any energy to be spent prolonging the natural human life-cycle. I don't want to live forever. I want to live in a culture that embraces the science of consciousness, cultural evolution and identity evolution. 2 Sara Lang Sara Lang 2 months ago
