I finally had blood work that showed I'm no longer deficient, but here's the sad part, no one told me ( including a rheumatologist, neurologist, family doctor)! In researching on my own, I found out that you need to take K2/M7 along with taking D, or calcium won't go into your bones, and instead can go into your deep tissue, arteries, onto your bones, just like you are sharing! Thanks for sharing your experience! ❤ 862 Reply 113 replies @karenbuchan1 @karenbuchan1 3 months ago I am 63 landscaper, hard work in hot Florida. A year ago thought I would have to find something else to do because I felt wore out tired with pain. Started taking 30 to 40k vit D3 daily for maybe a month. Since then I take 20,000 IU of vit D3 with 200 vit k mk7. Now I work longer days, feel stronger, less pain, no adverse side effects. I research and doctor myself, don’t trust the pharmaceutical/doctors. Also take 800 mg magnesium, benfotamine (B1) and potassium. I don’t get sick. IT was the first time I'd had a blood test ever that looked for that and I was shocked. I was living in Florida and I was in the sun 24/7 but the minute I took the vitamin D I felt better the next day. My experiebce with covid was a minimal --it lasted less than a night each time for a total of two times and it could be because my vitamin D level was very good. Having said that, I had a terrible time with the vaccine. I had very serious side effects that could have led to death but the last one finally-God willing- was sciatica and I increased my vitamin D to 10000 iu in part because it was cheaper than 5,000 for some crazy reason. I took it for 51 days and I was feeling so tired. I would be swimming and I'd start yawning and I felt like falling asleep while I was swimming which was not a good thing. I then began to think that I was definitely taking too much VIT d and 5,000 was ideal. I will say that the sciatica went away but I think it wasn't cuz of the increase in vitamin D but rather because I began to swim daily 1.5 hours a day. I had my doctor test my vitamin D and it had gone up to 90 which is considered excessive in America . THEY say 20 to 80 is okay and I do think for me it was excessive and YES it could lead to kidney stones and other problems because my body-- which I'm very much in touch with -was telling me it was too much . Ironically having too much vitamin D is the same as too little. I felt the same before I began vitamin D ten years ago- I was tired and my thighs hurt when I was bicycling or doing yoga . THAT stopped immediately upon taking vitamin D ten years ago. I'm now trying to remove the vitamin D fromn my body but of course it's fat-soluble which means it's stored in my fat . After about 51 days of no vitamin D I was retested and I was now at 65. I have lost 30% of my vitamin D. ❤I've decided to go another few months and if I lose another 30% , lowering it to 3ng/mL, I will go back on 5000 international units per day because that did seem to serve me well. I hope that that would raise it from 35 back to about 70 which I have been told is ideal. I do not want to go over 80 ever again. My point is that what this man has told us is a very interesting story but I think people should realize that even though the doctor that he quotes has stated something --it does NOT mean it's correct for every person and quite frankly I think it is outrageous.! With a much smaller amount of vitamin D as a supplement, u can achieve health. I think you can do harm to your body with the amount he quotes this doctor as saying is ok Calcification of tissues; arteries and kidney stones are NOT good things to deal with. The vast majority of people in America are low in vitamin D and that is regardless of age& regardless of skin color-those two things being the main items that cause one to need to supplement with vitamin D. I was shocked to find out that 20-year olds also were lacking in vitamin D- no different from myself who was a senior. We do not seem to know why this is the case but through my research I have realized it's pretty obvious: vitamin D was indirectly gotten into human beings with or without the sun due to animals eating vegetation that grew in the soil and actually that is how vitamin D got into them and then got into us when we ate them. THE same thing with plantsc which now are raised in denatured soil, with heavy fertilization and other chemicals that do not contain vitamin D and actually are deleterious to the human body n mind. I will say in Florida they always tested vitamin D and in Texas they do not. WHEN I asked for it -because I suspected I was over- they hesitated. I add this last point because they will only test for something they can make money off of and everytime a doctor writes you a prescription, they get a kickback from the pharmaceuticals. Needless to say there was no prescription needed for vitamin D they will not get a kickback and so they do not bother to actually CARE for their patient as in days of old before the drug companies called the shots, literally as well as metaphorically. 10 Reply 1 reply @JCX-9 @JCX-9 5 months ago Don’t worry about toxicity from D3 it’s extremely hard to get toxic from it. Once I started taking 10k iu every other day or so I saw it was raised to 43. I watched your videos and several others and learned that it is a fat soluble and should be taken with a fat. Also since I am 220lbs, which is considered medically obese, I have a higher body fat content. I found that I needed more than the standard. 10Kiu daily also I started taking 100mcg vit k2. now my level is 70 and I feel GREAT! I also never caught covid due to taking my vitamins properly. Also taking b complex, magnesium, zinc and iron. I'm in my mid 40's and have sun sensitivity (rashes) so supplementing works for me. 4 Reply 2 replies @beautyaddict08 @beautyaddict08 4 months ago (edited) My doctor told me last week that my Vitamin D levels were 96 which I was really pleased with as doctor said it was in normal range. On having access to my records, I realise that the UK measure the levels in nmol/l rather than ng/l. Therefore my level was 96nmol/l which in effect is only 38ng/ml. I take 3000 IU of Vitamin D every day with K2. I am a dark skinned lady and am now thinking I need to increase my Vitamin D supplementation. It feels to me that doctors are happy with blood level readings that are adequate or sufficient. At the start of the pandemic, I started on 10,000 IU of D3, plus K2, zinc and C. I had read that this was good for immunity. Last year when I went to my pcp, she said my bloodwork showed that I had hypercalcemia which was causing osteopenia. She told me that high doses of D3 can cause this. My D test showed I was at 100. So she told me to cut my dose of D3 in half. I have now been taking 5000 IU. I also had my parathyroid tested and it was normal. I'm currently taking 50,000IU D2 weekly for 36 weeks prescribed by my doctor. My levels were 14nl/mg in March. My lab work this week indicates my vitamin d 25 hydroxy levels are 92nl/mg. Great improvement. I see my doctor next week to go over my lab results. I don't feel any different whether my levels are 14 or 90. Also when I first started taking Vitamin D I noticed a difference within days, felt more cheerful and generally better. It turns out, however, that the half life of Vit D is roughly two weeks...which allows one to fairly quickly reduce levels by abstention in a reasonably short time. I now take approx. 7,000 IUs a day. (I also take 400 mcg of K2 per day) 5 Reply 1 reply @NoName88837 @NoName88837 5 days ago One of the reasons I cut my vitamin D from 20,000 iu to 5000 was I had pains coming from around my right kidney that sometimes was moving lower and to the left of my abdomen, so I suspected kidney stones, but doctors just said it's ok and just muscle pains, even though my creatinine level was 120 umol/L although I'm confident I've reversed any kidney damage and the high creatinine was caused temporarily by exercise but it still makes me angry that doctors I've had appointments with don't give health advice other than to take drugs and then they deny any side effects they caused me 1 Reply @citizengkar7824 @citizengkar7824 5 months ago As others have stated vitamin D{3} should be taken in conjunction with vitamin K2, to ensure calcium is not taken out of the bones, into the blood, tissue, etc.. The ratio is: for every 4000IUs, take 100mcg of K2. The K2 will remove excess calcium back into the bones. Under 40000IUs is regarded safe, on it's own. 155 Reply 32 replies @Beepinsqueekin @Beepinsqueekin 4 months ago (edited) Excellent video! My adult son and I were very low on Vitamin D3. I’m a 58 year old male who stays in the shade, 6’2” 250lbs, Vitamin D 198 nmol/L, blood pressure 110/70 & calcium 2.24 & have none of the issues I’m going to mention next. In 2002 I was suffering with anxiousness, fatigue, hypersensitivity - felt like burn out, frequent colds, allergies, but in hindsight, it was low vitamin D. In 2008 I had it tested & my vitamin D level was at 26 nmol/L. I started supplementing vitamin d3 400iu for a few years, then 1,000 iu for a few years, then 2,000 iu for a few years with little progress, then 3,000iu, then 4,000 iu. By 2019, my vitamin D was 73.9 nmol/l. I started taking 5,000 iu vitamin D3 and that got me out of the insufficiency range to 125.1 nmol/L. In 2001 I increased my vitamin D3 to 7,500 & 2022 10,000 iu along with Vitamin K2 MK7 100mcg & in Oct 2023, my vitamin D was at 198 nmol/L, so I think I’ll dial it back 7,500 iu as toxicity is at 250 nmol/L. If I knew what I know now, I would’ve started at 10,000 iu with vitamin K2 MK7 100mcg per day for 3 months, then dialed it back to 7,500 iu everyday & Vitamin K2 MK7 100mcg every other day for 9 months & retested. When I got a mild case of shingles, I took 15,000 iu vitamin D3 & 100 mcg K2 MK7 twice daily for 3 days & by the 5th day it was healing up & two weeks later it was gone. I may try that if I get a cold. 1 Reply @queenofhearts6127 @queenofhearts6127 11 days ago (edited) I ended up in hospital twice with dangerously high blood pressure (requiring IV meds) from taking a very low dose of Vitamin D (600iu oral spray). First time I tried it I didn’t relate it to the supplement. The second time it happened I realized immediately what it was and was able to tell the Doctors what caused my heart to go into an irregular beat etc. It appears that I can’t tolerate even a very low dose of it for some reason. I never go outside as I am bed bound from spinal surgeries (10 yrs ago). I also eat a poor diet due to a restrictive eating disorder. I’m worried that I have little to no vitamin D in my system after all these years indoors. I am very, very pale skinned due to no sun exposure. I just don’t know what to do - my Doctor isn’t interested in testing me as I have no symptoms of a deficiency. 1 Reply @karenanson @karenanson 3 months ago (edited) Very helpful! Thx. I had very low VitD several years ago so I’ve been supplementing with OTC D3 and prescription D2 for several years with good results putting me in the 50+ range. And then… a few months ago I started on Mounjaro for my diabetes and I ended up losing 45# in about 6 months. My blood tests at that point were AMAZING! No more high BP or diabetes or anything else troublesome, EXCEPT… my Vitamin D was now at 199! Turns out ALL my fat soluble vitamins and hormones were ultra high due to them being released back into my system as I burned off the fat. The doc actually called me at 7am on a Saturday to tell me to stop taking any of vitamin D supplements! I also showed some calcium crystals in my urine test which she said could lead to kidney stones so we would continue monitoring that. But she didn’t explain the connection between the D and the crystals. So thanks for filling in that detail. Now I understand why she also wanted to make sure that I wasn’t taking additional calcium. It sure helps to understand the WHY of the instructions the docs give you. 😃 6 Reply @indigenousinterbay4068 @indigenousinterbay4068 4 months ago I take 40,000 IU D3 and 400 micrograms K2(MK-7) and have been doing this for 4 years. My daughter is a pharmacist and asked my if I was taking a Vit D supplement, which I wasn’t. I told her redheads have an edge at metabolizing what sun they do get into Vit D, and that it is an ancestral benefit redheads possess. I take supplements now around 10,000 units a day to maintain my health along with 200 mgs of Vit K. I thought I was getting a younger one. She told me to stop taking 3000 of D a day because it would stop my heart and kill me. The funny/not funny thing is, when she ordered my bloodwork, she didn't include my D level. She also said I had calcified ear wax in one ear and when I got to an ENT, he pulled out a piece of cotton. The woman is obviously not fit to practice and I have to find another doctor. I actually went to her because another doctor misdiagnosed me about another health issue. It's getting really hard to get help. I'm really sorry to say this but when doctors get to a certain age, they should be evaluated to see if they are still competent enough to help people live instead of wasting our time. Personally, it discourages me from seeking help at times and that's why I end up in the ER which is not how it should be. 11 Techno Panda Media Reply 1 reply @tastx3142 @tastx3142 4 months ago I had my Vitamin D level checked by my rheumatologist who was treating my rheumatoid arthritis and my level was 3. Some things they found is it matters what time period you take them in. One doctor there would regularly take 60,000 IU all at once to get his numbers right. Most, if not all would take 5000-20000IU per day. You can imagine up here Vitamin D deficiency is very common. D3 can still cause some calcification in your arteries. K2 removes the calcium from your arteries and puts it back into your bones, where it belongs. You only need 100 mcg of K2. The MK-7 version of K2 is supposed to be more effective than the MK-4 version. Also, you should be eating some food with fat in it, at the same time as taking D3, so your body can absorb it, like nuts, avocado, etc. Essentially, any fats will work, but try to stick with the healthy fats. 5 Reply @kodiak2fitty @kodiak2fitty 4 months ago Thanks for the link to the Mayo paper! I'd like to add a couple of points from my searching for actual research on Vitamin D. Yes it is a hormone and it is almost like a rechargeable battery. When you do get sick, your Vitamin D levels (as measured by blood test) will start dropping rapidly. So the advantage of being higher than 65 ng is basically how long can it help you fight an infection. My last 2 readings: 101 ng (18 months ago) and 63 ng (last month). Everybody seems to have a different uptake rate. I hit 101 ng by taking 10,000 UI/day. My brother takes 20,000 IU/day and only gets to 70 or 80 ng. Also many lay people don't understand how Covid-19 generally killed you. For many, it caused an overreaction of the immune system, causing your body to flood the lungs (basically stuffy nose but in the lung) and reduce your oxygen uptake. Vitamin D, among other things, is a regulator of the immune system. It both makes your immune system react faster to an infection AND also helps limit overreaction of the immune system. This latter feature is why high Vitamin D levels are protective against dying from Covid-19. The fast immune reaction from Vitamin D is why so many people taking it say that they "rarely get sick". They are getting sick but the immune system catches it so much faster before the infection gets going and gives us the normal cold symptoms; You fight off the cold super quick. 16 Techno Panda Media Reply 4 replies @dovygoodguy1296 @dovygoodguy1296 4 months ago I was taking 7000 a day and it did very little for me. And vitamin D3 is more active and better absorbed than vitamin D2. 4) Since vitamin D is fat soluble and stored in the fat cells, one does'nt have to take it every day. I take 20,000 twice a week. 5) a blood level over 60 has been shown to reduce the incidence of several cancers such as breast, colon, bladder, and pancreatic cancers. Scientists could see that about 400 IU was sufficient to protect against Rickets bone desease. So this was set at the minimun reconended dose. But, it is far too low to maintain overall good health. The benefits of sufficient vit D are now much better understood. I garden a lot so get sufficient vit D in the summer months from sunshine but in the dark winters I take 6000IU perday of Vit D3. I take regular blood tests for other reasons but they include Vit D and my levels are maintained in the middle of the defined healthy range. Vit D is fat soluble so should be taken with some fat like at meal times. People in the UK from ethnic origins with darker skin need more Vit D supplements as the UK sun is too weak to penetrate dark skin. In addition, it is suggested by many that K2 and magnesium are also taken, but I suggest a consultation with your physician before self administering handfuls of supplements. 2 Reply 3 replies @MassGainingGuy @MassGainingGuy 5 months ago My current Vitamin D levels are at 98. Being a research oriented engineer, I read a wide range of scholarly papers dealing with all aspects of Vitamin D3 including supplementation and toxicity. I reached the conclusion that I wanted to maintain my D3 levels between 50 and 70, and that toxicity was a non-issue for any supplementation protocol that kept serum D3 levels below at least 100. Instead of worrying about daily or weekly doses of oral D3 supplementation, my preferred route has been to take a 600000 IU Vit D3 intramuscular injection once every six months or so. I understand these injections may not be available in the western nations, but I am fortunate to be living in India, where these are easily available and used extensively by orthopedic surgeons. The cost works out roughly a US dollar per shot, or two dollars a year. Compare that with the annual cost of 7000 to 10000 IU oral capsules per day! I get my blood and serum samples tested every 8 to 12 months for a wide range of parameters, including D3 levels, which for the last 12 years have maintained in the range 30 to 60. Again I feel fortunate to be living in India where I can self-prescribe such multi-parameter screening tests at a cost of US $12 to $25. I have another interesting data point to share. My elderly mother was once prescribed one 600000 IU injection per month for 12 months by her knee surgeon -- frankly I was concerned that this was unnecessarily high, but the doctor's will prevailed. Her serum D3 levels went up to over 175. Yet there were absolutely NO adverse symptoms of D3 toxicity. This made me research the available literature for case studies of D3 toxicity, and I realized they were just a handful of them worldwide, and only at uber-extreme dosages (such as 200000 IU) taken daily for several months. Vitamin D3 toxicity is connected with uber-high serum levels and not with high per-individual-dose levels. In my personal experience a single 600000 IU injection raises my serum D3 by perhaps 20 units. Using a judicious mix of of 2-3 such injections a year plus regular serum D3 monitoring has helped me achieve the desired D3 levels with minimum fuss at minimum cost. 3 Reply 1 reply @ETBrooD @ETBrooD 4 months ago 10 000 IU of vitamin D3 per day contains a significant risk of hypercalcemia (roughly a 9% risk, or 1 in 11 individuals). The risk is very small at 3200-4000 IU (affecting 1 in 250 individuals), and there's no risk at 400 IU. This is from recent studies published in 2020 and 2023 respectively. The ideal dose for the average person depends on various factors. Up to 1000 IU should be safe for all people. <4000 IU is safe for most people. Without a prescription from a doctor, it's not advisable to take >4000 IU every day. Furthermore it's very important to get the supplement from a trusted source. Some supplements contain many times greater doses than what the label suggests, in fact in some products the amount was up to 100x greater. It should be around 80-100 ng/ml (or 200-250 nmol/l). Without monitoring this parameter it is easy to overdose and poison the body, which can cause various diseases. Secondly, vitamin D3 should always be taken with K2MK7, which directs calcium to bones and teeth, instead of leaving it in the veins and other blood vessels. Without K2MK7 you can cause calcification of blood vessels and various organs, which is very dangerous. In addition, as vitamin D3 is only soluble in animal fats, it should be taken with such fats, for example with pork lard. Otherwise it will have little effect. It is best to use it in the morning, because it can interfere with the natural production of melatonin, which is a hormone responsible for the quality of sleep. 12 Reply 4 replies @FrightF @FrightF 4 months ago K2 is in Eggs and youll get at least 100mcg K2-MK4 from 3 eggs a day. That's the reason FDA sets the RDA at 600 iu/day. It's a good rule of thumb to take 100 iu/day per nanogram/ml hydroxy-D you want in your blood. So for a healthy blood level of 50 ng/ml, take 5000 iu/day. Do that consistently for a few months, and then get your blood level tested. It really takes that long to stabilize. Then you can adjust your dose for the level you want. I keep mine around 100 ng/ml for my MS, by taking 8000 iu/day. Everybody has their own response to D3 intake, so take a steady dose until you stabilize, and then adjust the dose. Taking Vitamin K2 and magnesium with it is a very good idea. I too credit my high Vitamin D level with my mild Covid in early 2020, despite being 70 with suppressed T-helper lymphocytes from an MS medication. Reply @Mithril_Antimarr @Mithril_Antimarr 2 months ago There needs to be more info on the correct ratios the fat soluble vitamins should be taken in (A, E, D, K1 and K2), just increasing D without K2 is dangerous (K2 is needed to make the D effective), just increasing D and K2 without A is dangerous as it can lead to Vit A depletion and eventual deficiency (high levels of Vit A can also be dangerous). Frankly I am unsure about K1 and E, but there needs to be more discussion of this as it feels like in the enthusiasm to recommend more Vit D we are neglecting the impact it can have on other fat soluble vitamins that are absorbed in similar ways. Reply @Willsontime @Willsontime 2 months ago (edited) There’s a few caveats to what you say. People absorb it at different rates for many reasons. Some healthy people can absorb it very well and others might hardly absorb any at all. People who are sick with Digetive track disorders may absorb even less even though they need it. You need to eat oily or fatty foods with it also as even it comes in olive oil capsule, it’s not enough to absorb it through the stomach wall. Do your own research, but from what I’ve read, generally 50-60% of the amount taken via a capsule is not absorbed. So 7,000 iU a day might only be 4,000 iU that’s absorbed. The 2 factors I know of are vit k2 and magnesium. Use vit k2 for placement of the resulting calcium by the use of vit D i.e. start eating kimchi or other fermented foods. Absorbing higher amounts of vit D could lead to magnesium depletion, which has its own problems. Be sure to supplement. The reason is that vit D absorption uses Magnesium. For me, I develop hypercalcemia symptoms if I take 3000IU, with or without k2. In fact k2 makes the symptoms even worse for some reason. I now take 1000IU vit d per day & no k2, & this raised my vit d to 130. Now the only time I develop symptoms is if my vit d is taken close to a meal high in oily fish & calcium (not fortified or supplemented calcium). I should add I work from home & do a lot of nights, so I get very little sunlight. I hate to think what a 50,000IU dose would do to me, even as a 1 off. Yet there is so much discrepancy due to different research techniques and studies that it makes a competent judgement on effects and safety almost impossible! This is true on almost all medicinal products, not just vitamins! I have been taking several vitamins for some time, and honestly. I can't say they have done anything! I likely will continue and adjust dosage based on my current beliefs, which can change based on many things! I'm quite sure many others do so too, Sadly there is no main research that I've found that everyone can report what they take in regards to food and medicine as well as keep track of their overall health to see if there appears to be significant effects! It is possible that even 1 simple food or supplement can prevent cancer or other diseases but there is no widespread study to evaluate or even speculate on it! In many areas we are not much better than going by old witch doctor methods! And many people are given medicines that only treat the symptoms rather than the actual cause! Sometime with catastrophic results! Each of us must decide what the risks are in our nutritional intake, but one thing needs to be considered here and that is you are likely better off having too much as opposed to to little! Finding the balance is a worthwhile goal! Hunger and under nutrition is said to cause 25,000 deaths per day! So if you even have food, be thankful! Secondly, the most critical part of this ( Dr. Berg's video, " How Much Vitamin D Do I Need? SURPRISING") is that the study that doctors are basing the RDA on is flawed. Vitamin E is measured in IU's and your blood level is measured in ng/ml . You need to do the CONVERSION to see actually how much you need . Where you stand on your current level which optimal is suppose to be around 40-60 will then dictate how much you need to take. Other dynamics like do you have trouble absorbing , underlying diseases existing etc will also influence how much more you need to take. Its a good watch to educate yourself. Later I used the following vitamin D3 scenarios to help increase my Vitamin D3 levels to 40ng/ml in my blood. I am not sure what it is now. Currently, I take 10,000iu twice a week and plan to take a multivitamin daily that contains 1,000iu in each tablet. This will give me 27,000iu vitamin D3 weekly. I used to take 10,000iu daily but then read and heard that it could potentially cause some calcification in your soft tissue including your arteries. I am in the process of finding the correct weekly dose. I also take Vitamin k2-m4 in the amount of 100mcg per 1000iu vitamin D3. I also take 1250mg of magnesium oxide daily. This combination of vitamins is supposed to help your body absorb the calcium into your bones rather than into your soft tissues like arteries. My blood levels are 100 ng/ml which is high normal. Our bodies made 20,000 IU with 20-30 minutes of sun exposure, so toxic levels of vitamin D are not in the 20,000 IU/d or lower, but instead would require literally an absurb level on the order of a million units per day, and even then, it would be dangerous from a calcium metabolism aspect, not vitamin D per se. ~200 ug of K2 per day is critical for proper calcium equilibrium. K2 is only derived from fermented vegetation, so it's easiest to take K2 as a supplement. The latest studies shows the daily intake can be easily upto 60K iu per day, there is nothing wrong with that. It is a very essential vitamin. Indians have especially the highest rate of Vit D deficiency, according to studies, so when the study recommends 60Kiu for Britishers, then we Indians should happily take the tablets of the same daily, as we are very deficient, as we would never go out in the burning sunlight. Potassium and magnesium are used by the body to process Vitamin D3, the more Vitamin D3 you take the more your consumption of these minerals will be. On 10 a day with a couple of missed days I do not get my levels over 80. If I do not take any for a week or so I find it hard to walk without extreme pain. 30 a day for a few days gets me back to top mobility. I consider the fight to keep our levels low to be a medical conspiracy. I am on my late seventies, have great wrinkle free skin, have lots of energy. And am pain free even with bone on bone hip wear. But I stay away from discount pharmacy brands. Often the fatty oil excipient that vitamin d needs is canola, palm or GMO soy. I do not ingest any of these knowlingly. Also there are now some artificiality made vitamins on the market and vitamin d is not alone in this. Know your sources. Vegan friendly or lanolin based are the best IMO i use the one with rice bran oil. Reply @davidm1149 @davidm1149 4 months ago (edited) The reason why people are feeling exhausted is due to the overwhelming amount of electromagnetic frequencies now flooding cities and suburbs. The 5G explosion will make this go through the roof. 5G is extremely toxic to the body, the surrounding area around 5G towers/honeycombs become charged with a positive electromagnetic charge. This is the opposite of what the human body encounters in a natural environment. Don't know the answer, but to counteract this with a type of EMF protective device or garment. It's absolutely necessary. I started taking much more Vitamin D years ago as I was a delivery driver. I found it was the only thing that really staved off the flu (and I tried many asian herbal remedies). I'm talking easily more than 80,000 iu's per day. Maybe around 110,000 - basically 30,000 three or four times a day. You can take that amount, it won't make you ill. Also I drink Green Tea - I boil water in a pot with a lot of shaved and sliced Ginger. This also greatly helps. I've also found if I have a flu, I use the peels of 3-4 Grapefruits boiled in a pot of water for 3 1/2 hrs (low boil). Cool, then squeeze the peels and drain into a mason jar. You can only keep this mixture for about a week, no longer - in the fridge, covered. About 2 Tablespoons every 2 hours or so. This contains Quinine, what the "authorities" were suppressing as a cure for their "covid". It works, folks. Start with 1000 IU and see how your body reacts to it. I can't take more than 3000 IU safely. I get lightheaded, very sleepy and tired and sometimes get severe nose bleeds that don't stop for hours. High doses of vitamin D3 can affect your blood clotting making it very thin, which leads to prolonged bleeding. This can be balanced out by vitamin K2. So just make sure to test how you react to it. For some 10K IU is fine, but for others it'd cause real trouble. 2 Reply 1 reply @Maynardtkrebs @Maynardtkrebs 4 months ago (edited) 10,000 IU, vitamin D, 1 tablespoon turmeric with black pepper, severely, limited, gluten, no pig, no cow, but eat lots of vegetables especially broccoli. 75, but look 50 bike 100 miles a week.
