我が家も、幼児教育を学び、結婚前は芸術幼稚園教諭だった母の絵本の読み聞かせはプロ級でしたし、お話も上手でした。 でも母は、ドイツリートや古いイタリアのアリアなどは原語でよく歌ってはいましたが、音大を出た音楽家ではありませんでしたから、私がピアノを習い始めても、ピアノの曲をそんな風にお話にして解説してくれることはありませんでしたし、プロ級の腕前でお手本を弾いてくれることもありませんでした。 やはり妃鞠さんのような才能が育つのは、ヴァイオリンのプロの腕前と、子供の心が分かる、感性豊かなお話ができるお母さまがついていらしたお蔭なのですね。 - 10歳で招待されて演奏したところは初めて見ました。ありがとうございます。いやあ〜初めの一音でゾゾゾ〜と震えがきましたよ！まるで老練なバイオリニストのようで音はどこまでも澄んでいる。このギャップは今だけのものなのか、成長すれば消えていくのかとにかく彼女にしか出せない感じ。すでに演奏する姿は風格があり、ロシアも彼女を子供ではなく一人の演奏者として認めたからこそ招待したんでしょうね。これを日本からでなく、外国からされたというのはうれしいけれどなんだかなあ〜という気持ちも正直ちょっとあるんですけどね… この人は言語を介して（コトバで教えられて）指導を受けたのではないのだろう。モノゴコロがつく前から、親御さんに「ヴァイオリン音」でさまざまに、正しく、語りかけられ、それに「ヴァイオリン音」「ヴァイオリン脳」で応え、ヴァイオリンの発声や表現を幼少期に「母語（母音楽）」として身につけているようだ。これは凄い環境であり凄い才能だ。母語は幼少時の適正期に適正な習得をしないと、その適正期を過ぎてしまうと、もう母語としての習得は難しくなるらしい。脳がそのように育って固定してしまうからだ。ひまりさんはおそらくそのような幼少期を正しい「母音楽」の中で育ちそれを習得したのだ。そんな環境や才能は稀有のものだ（そういう環境があっても習得できる子は稀だ）。しかもその後にはその「母語」を操って詩人のような表現力で音楽を自由に紡ぎだすことができるようになっている。詩人ならば語彙力を伸ばしたり構成力・構想力を磨いたり、情感を身につけたりする情操の領野だ。これは母語・母音楽を習得したあとの精神的表現力の成長の証しだと思われる。彼女にはこの両方が兼備されている。すごい才能が現われたものだ。 The young musician first received lessons from his father and later from the most reputable teachers in Genoa. In 1801 Paganini travelled to Lucca in Tuscany and in 1805 he was appointed to the position of court solo violinist by Napoleon's sister Elisa Bacciocchi. After four years in Lucca Nicolo left the court and began performing his own music at concerts throughout Italy. It was not until 1828 that Paganini made his first professional appearances outside Italy when he embarked on a six-and-a-half year tour that started in Vienna and ended in Paris in September 1834. Stories of Paganini's performances are legendary, with audiences said to have been moved to tears and hysteria. His astonishing technical ability led many to believe that his mother had sold his soul to the devil in return for a career as the greatest virtuoso in the world. Paganini garnered great personal wealth but he was known for his excessive gambling that at one point forced him to pawn his own violin. By the mid-1830s Paganini's health and ability began to fail and he died in May 1840 from internal hemorrhaging before a priest could be summoned. This added to suspicions that he had entered a pact with the devil and the Church denied his body a Catholic burial in Genoa. It was not until 1876 that his remains were finally laid to rest in a cemetery in Parma. Techniques ,to him, are no longer something to impress the audience but the integral part of his being. His fingers effortlessly flied on the fingerboard, producing notes that were as pure and sweet as the honey that instantly melted in your ears. The last time I had such excitement was when I listened to Shlomo Mintz played the same concerto using Paganini’s own violin “El Cannone”. The runs are crystal clear and each note rings out. Such fine bowing technique. The Detroit Symphony sounds at home with this artist in Symphony Hall with marvelous acoustics. This video captures the essence of what the live concert must have been like. Loved the spontaneous applause between movements which was well deserved. World class sounds all the way around. Wow~! Seriously, these are not easy parts and it is awesome they played so cleanly and together :) And as always, Augustin's playing is sick. I definitely think Augustin and Hilary Hahn's versions of this concerto are my favorite, with me leaning towards liking Hilary's version better. I was kind of surprised Augustin wasn't pulling his bow straight in this performance, leaning at an angle at the tip. At times I tend to think of Paganini's work as energetic and violent, but Hadelich has made the lyrical side of Paganini stand out. After my mother passed from cancer, he later developed Alzheimers in his elder years and, while still semi-lucid, worked on a piece in his bedroom by Tchaikovsky; I can't remember which one. Always the same piece, always getting stumped at the same place, at which point he'd break into an old farmer, chicken scratch jingle as if to erase his error. Later he began to work on the violin itself, sanding the finish and replacing the strings and always adjusting their tension. I am a nearly life-long type 1 diabetic (41 yrs diabetic and 53 yrs old) with nerve damage to my vagus nerve. I also have significant vision loss in my right eye. For 7 years, I have followed a combination of what Dr Gundry discussed in chapter 10 of the Plant Paradox, as well as Dr. Bernstein’s approach to keeping blood sugar low in his book diabetes solution. Dr. Bernstein advocates for higher Protein consumption and not a high focus on vegetables/plant foods. I am one of those people who cannot tolerate a ton of fiber or fat. Dr. Bernstein is a practicing and thriving endocrinologist in his 90s, who has been a type one diabetic since age 12. So given my situation, I eat more protein than Dr. Gundry recommends. With that being said, I also weight train 3 to 4 times a week, and I have been doing that for over 25 years. I feel like Dr. Gundry’s recommendations for animal protein is definitely on the low side. I have never heard Dr. Gundry mention type one diabetes or Gastroparesis. Dr. Bernstein discusses these issues constantly, so I don’t feel like I could ever be 100% on Dr. Gundry’s plan, even though I do my best and eat the majority of my food from his yes and no lists. At some point, we make decisions, based on the best available data, economics and difficulties in instituting a plan. Some changes I've made recently. I only buy organic pasture raised eggs, They taste unbelievable. Ditched peanut butter forever. Omg-6:Omg-3 ratio was 1700:1. I switched to sprouted bread. Don't really care for the taste. But, I can't have everything. I've cut back on store bought chicken. Liked the Okra and tudca ideas. I'll check them out. Rome wasn't built in a day. I quit diet soda seven years ago and haven't had a drop since. I've been a binge eater my whole life and from day one after taking lectins out of my diet I have had not one craving for junk or one "cheat" day. My grandma sadly died too young in her early 80s she drove into an oncoming truck at dusk doing chores when the light sky plays tricks on your eyes,; my grandpa developed cancer from the chemicals he treated crops with. Please offer an example of what meals a family would eat in a week. Please have your wife teach us how to make them. And on the “seeds” issue: then are pumpkin seeds bad to eat, etc? So much more to cover. Please help us navigate this in practical ways in the real world with our families! Not that it is a black or white issue, but I can see a lot more serious downsides of globalization fueled by greed than the few benefits created, like convenience and an excessive supply of cheap consumer goods. He seems a bit full of himself, like a know it all, like he's the only one who's found the true answers. When he started talking about what he eats on a daily basis (which btw he didn't even answer the question propely), and said he eats just once a day... thanks, but no thanks! I think I'd rather be mildly unhealthy (in his standards) and enjoy my food every now and again.
