Thank you for that Professor Al-Khalili. In my understanding Physics is aimed at associating models (numbers and equations) to the real things. Models are there to predict the result of future experiments, which then prove if they were right (aka: applicable) or wrong. So I have no problem if a (relatively) free standing electron, or a crashing electron on a detector follows the particle model, while a fast traveling electron fired by the gun follows the probabilistic wave model. What I miss in this case is a description of how properties of the electron are modified when it is "fired" (or: what makes it "evaporate" to a probabilistic wave). Similarly, how the electron properties are modified when it is "detected", "measured" or when the probabilistic wave "crashes" on some obstacle to crystallize again as a particle at a (somewhat predictable) random place in space. Studying these transitions could be more profitable than arguing on "which reality is real". Concerning entanglement, did someone look at it as two crystallization's of a single wave ? The video suggests that the second coin continues to turn when the first one is fixed. Isn't that misleading ? when the first one is "detected", what if the second one has been displaced out of reach of a detector ? Reply @Favourites669 @Favourites669 1 month ago Hell yes!!! I have always thought of reality as obeying laws that are sensible, but quantum physics gives the impression of not doing this. String theory attempts to make things a bit more sensible, but probably is not the answer. In any case, the way that you put real world explanations to these things is so very good. 4 Reply 1 reply @cetateanu9669 @cetateanu9669 2 weeks ago I never liked the school. But I loved physics lectures.I left the school and now I am watching quantum physics and can easily understand. As try as I can, however, I still do not understand why it is that Bell's experiment showing sums less than or greater than two answers the question whether Planck or Einstein was right in explaining the uncertainty about entanglement and whether there is spooky action at a distance or some hidden variable that underlies and explains entanglement. Is there a chance you could explain why knowing the answer to be < or > 2 is outcome determinative? 1 Reply @danielpaulson8838 @danielpaulson8838 3 weeks ago Thanks for re-posting this fine science material featuring a favorite, Prof Jim Al-Khalili. First, what does 'the other particle simultaneously changes' actually mean in a relativistic universe? They are separated by an interval, so we can change the time and distance by switching inertial frames. Second, the robins. Assuming the electrons are entangled, how did that happen and still guarantee they ended up in the correct positions? 5 Reply 4 replies @markwiegard8384 @markwiegard8384 3 weeks ago A single electron traveling through air or space is probably effected by the particle it’s traveling between directly changing its path. Because the electron has more energy than the particles it’s passing between the energy the electron releases is reflected off the other particles defusing the electrons energy making it look like a wave creating the light bar effect. Depending on the charge of the particles the electron is passing between would cause the electron to bounce between particles in the space hence hitting random but in a wave like predictable path. This would suggest a different way to look at an electrons path. Assuming the electron in motion will always go in a straight line infinitely without friction, an obstacle, or magnetic interference. The electron’s energy pushing in one direction releases a small amount of energy as it bounces between the less dense area of space refracts the energy impact making it act and look like a wave. Charge the gas the electron travels through. I think it’s call a spectrum of light and what we use to determine matter type on other planets. My guess is An electron is an electron unless it’s polarity is changed. It’s the energy it releases when it bounces off particles as it travels. The particle density and charge the electron refracts regulates the energy impact wave released. This could also explain how billions of different species of different sizes and shapes were born to the world many millions of years ago when the ground radio-active levels were high due to thousands of volcanic eruptions. Of course then nature applied natural selection explained by Darwin. 2 Reply @aloysiushettiarachchi4523 @aloysiushettiarachchi4523 7 days ago Thanks Prof. Al-Khalili. The sound has all the properties of wave as it travels through the air, but it delivers its energy in discrete bursts or beats, which you can hear. In much the same way light is a stream of wave packets described by a wave equation, i.e., a probabilistic description of where the quanta may be at any time. Upon some kind of interaction, such as that you would have using a detector, light behaves as a particle, what we call the collapse of the wave equation. In the double slit experiment, one photon "interferes" with itself. Possibly because it could pass through either slit. But if you bend the barrier between the two slits at 90° and fire the photon parallel to one side of the barrier it can only pass through 1 slit. The other slit now being at 90° to the path of the photon. So unless Pilot Wave Theory is correct interference would seem impossible??? If however a photon has a surrounding wave, then the Wave could propagate and negotiate the 90° opening and create an interference pattern? Reply @Wandera1970 @Wandera1970 8 days ago I have questions. The first double slit experiment where they fired 1 single electron at a time. Did they record the number fired and the number of detections?. Did they match? What was the timing of the single electron been fired. If you don't know where the electron is until observed. How do they know it only releasing one electron at a time? I know double slit experiment can be produced with lasers to show the interference pattern. But they fire a steady stream. instead of placing the slits horizontally you place them vertically do you get the pattern rotated through 90 degrees. Reply @virtualmoyda7221 @virtualmoyda7221 1 day ago Has anyone else noticed that cars with hled headlights mimic the double slit experiment? I am outside a lot facing oncoming traffic at a stop light and i noticed that some of the newer cars headlights appear like scattered dots/a blur when not directly observed but as soon as i look directly at them a shift to a solid and more focused beam appears. This effect only happens with certain new cars. It literally changes from looking like particles to looking like a wave/beam. Reply @mineduck3050 @mineduck3050 2 days ago (edited) It doesnt break down, it's just that the methods of getting facts is so back engineered by necessity that its like putting a puzzle together in the dark with no picture. We could really use some abstract fundamentals that define existence at a base. Until then, you will quickly lose a mental oicture of what is happening physically. The basic is that all anything is, is motion. Matter is motion with motion barriers. This motion exists in polarized, internal volume that is equally as much volume as outside of the matter in question. In the quantum view, where our light is too big and slow to penetrate, its still just basic motions making form, except its very fast and lots and lots of time go by if you were in a relative refrence frame and perspective of observation. We are watching perhaps countless years of motion in one second of atomic observations, if we were to have a time keeper in realtive size and velocity counting the moments alongside us up here. Its all motion. Get the abstarct truths of motion and form into the theories, and things will smooth out considerably. 1 Reply @springspring9029 @springspring9029 3 weeks ago Amazing how all of a sudden Quantum physics is coming out of the woodwork!! What is described here (from approximately 32 minutes to 33 minutes) days that the other coin that is entangled with the one that is stopped is the opposite as in you stop one on heads and the other one on Pluto suddenly stops and becomes tails. Quantum physics... I almost feel sorry for the physicists trying to measure why, when and how it works. It's like opening Pandoras box - you've got hope as your only friend. First the theories involved are a plausibility of something happening in the first place. Now trying to use predictions of where to measure where an action takes place. You can either measure where it ought to be and how it travels from point A to point B. But you can't measure the weight at the same time. But of course you can make multiple experiments and use the actual data to gain knowledge from them calculating the most likely outcome. The issues of how, when and why you measure in the first place. Trying to make the correct parametres to filter out unwanted data (noise) Then figuring out how to represent the data in a meaningful way. Now having used the combined knowledge of the brightest minds and all the best of all available technology to weed out all the errors either known or probably having an effect or the possibilities of unwanted side effects. Just getting results that can verify you're getting something right and closing in on the target must be a tremendous relief making all the frustrations and headaches worthwhile. Now homing in on the target discovering - you've got two particles at the same time. You know it's impossible - something can't be in two places at the same time. If you turn on the tab on a hose full of water - it very quickly flows out the end. Not very surprising - you know it's not the water you've just put into the hose running out of the other end. It's "old" water being pushed out. Filling water in an empty hose - it will take some time before the starts to run. No surprise either. In a manner of speech. The action is like another person saying hello to you. Instantly the person gets teleported a few yards away. From your point of view you would experience the other person being at two places at the same time. The sound is a lot slower than the speed of light. Why you would experience it as being the same person being in two places at the same time. In radars I've experienced the same. By the looks of it. You've got two identical targets, but you know the sky is empty except for one target. You get a ghost representation. You know it shouldn't be possible - it's a false representation. Something else must be at play creating an echo. To my basic knowledge it's almost like the impossible experiment with the person saying hello. It happens so fast my brain and senses are fooled. Are the results an echo? Or are the result having something making a ghost? Radars started as a theory. Experiments were done in a relative controlled environment making it plausible the theory/idea could be put into practical use. With a working model the evolution quickly made giant leaps. They soon discovered real life situations could be playing a trick or two. Weaknesses were found it wasn't by any means perfect. The flaws could be exploited if you didn't want to be detected. That led to counter measures counter counter measures and a race between detection and avoiding it. A natural evolution - comparable to the natural evolution between pray and predator. Somehow using the best of the collection of knowledge and technology - quantum physics are showing properties that defies logic and everything known to man. Maybe Newtons Laws do apply. We observe an action getting a reaction. Maybe we think we have a controlled environment but we're missing out on something. We think we've emptied the hose - but there's something that acts like a full hose. We know we put something into the system. We can detect it being put in but what we observe is a full hose pushing something out the "other end". You get two representations the one entering the system and the one leaving. But only measuring and looking for the one entering the sheer speed of the actions illudes the point of observation and the observer. Anything travelling at the speed of light will gain an incredible inertia - Einstein talked about bending the fabric of space and time. The travel of light is a constant you can't exceed. The bending of the fabric of space gives a new paradox. If the weight contracts space - the distance of travel becomes shorter - meaning it's possible to create a shortcut. Just for argumentets sake. If it creates a wave in space but only has to travel from top to top. From the observers point of view you have an experiment running close to the speed of light, you can observe at the speed of light - the reason for doing it to get the action as it happens. You get a picture of the moment in time when action takes place. However creating a wave in space going in a direction you can predict. You should see something where it's predicted. However if it's skipping the waves it's travelling faster than the speed of light. That would be like turning back time. Pumping water through a pipe - you can create a wavecrest travelling faster than the actual speed of the water pumped into the system. AKA the particle behaves like a wavecrest travelling faster than the actual speed it was put into the system with.If the wavecrest can travel four times faster. You slow the experiment down by a quarter - but record the action in real time - would you be getting a line of trajectory of where the particle where and a dot where the particle is in reality? Please forgive me for using the incorrect terms and probably getting something wrong in the understanding of the principles behind it all. I'm a layman trying to get an understanding using the knowledge I've got as a layman. 2 Reply 2 replies @gleambrite2679 @gleambrite2679 10 days ago The proton itself the nature of light, our consciousness ect.. At the speed of light, there is no delta time nor delta distance between the photons. There aren't two photons from their perspective, they are always the same. Then "distance" we perceive is simply from our bias of being sub light speed beings. When we measure "one particle" we're just measuring an incomplete state of the instance. The matching photon simply has to be in the complimentary state. Reply @NotNecessarily-ip4vc @NotNecessarily-ip4vc 1 month ago Monad (from Greek μονάς monas, "singularity" in turn from μόνος monos, "alone") refers, in cosmogony, to the Supreme Being, divinity or the totality of all things. The concept was reportedly conceived by the Pythagoreans and may refer variously to a single source acting alone, or to an indivisible origin, or to both. The concept was later adopted by other philosophers, such as Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, who referred to the Monad as an elementary particle. It had a geometric counterpart, which was debated and discussed contemporaneously by the same groups of people. [In this speculative scenario, let's consider Leibniz's Monad (first emanation of God), from the philosophical work "The Monadology", as an abstract representation of the zero-dimensional space that binds quarks together using the strong nuclear force]: 1) Indivisibility and Unity: Monads, as indivisible entities, mirror the nature of quarks, which are deemed elementary and indivisible particles in our theoretical context. Just as monads possess unity and indivisibility, quarks are unified in their interactions through the strong force. 2) Interconnectedness: Leibniz's monads are interconnected, each reflecting the entire universe from its own perspective. In a parallel manner, the interconnectedness of quarks through the strong force could be metaphorically represented by the interplay of monads, forming a web that holds particles together. 3) Inherent Properties: Just as monads possess inherent perceptions and appetitions, quarks could be thought of as having intrinsic properties like color charge, reflecting the inherent qualities of monads and influencing their interactions. 4) Harmony: The concept of monads contributing to universal harmony resonates with the idea that the strong nuclear force maintains harmony within atomic nuclei by counteracting the electromagnetic repulsion between protons, allowing for the stability of matter. 5) Pre-established Harmony: Monads' pre-established harmony aligns with the idea that the strong force was pre-designed to ensure stable interactions among quarks, orchestrating their behavior in a way that parallels the harmony envisaged by Leibniz. 6) Non-Mechanical Interaction: Leibniz's monads interact non-mechanically through perceptions. In the context of the strong force, quarks interact through the exchange of gluons, which doesn't follow classical mechanical rules but rather the principles of quantum field theory. 7) Holism: The holistic perspective of monads could symbolize how quarks, like the monads' interconnections, contribute holistically to the structure and behavior of particles through the strong force interactions. em·a·na·tion noun an abstract but perceptible thing that issues or originates from a source. Reply 2 replies @kazmroz8948 @kazmroz8948 2 weeks ago (edited) The quantum scale is supposed to be nothing like the macro scale. If that is an accurate description of how things work at the two scales, that begs the question, “How did the macro scale phenomenon of 'waves on water', be used for anything at the quantum scale?” There was at first, no reason to seriously consider that physics, or more accurately, nature, breaks down or defies all logic, just due to scale. What caused it to break down, was a certain lack of meticulous examination or due consideration of what should have been looked at, as soon as it started to defy all logic, That something was first of all, the point topology of the electron and its wave behaviour. Very few, like Einstein, then Plank and later on, Popper, and culminating with Herman Haus and his student, Randell Mills, knew that there was something very wrong with the way physics was evolving. But others, like Born, and especially Heizenberg, wanted to have their abilities in statistics, an arguably fine tool of physics, to have that tool be made famous. All that is supposed to make physics only seem to be on solid ground, but not due to any definitive experiments.. That wrong turn in direction was taken very early, when Huygens saw a strong similarity between the patterns made in his light experiments with those on water. By using Huygens “proposal”, Young “established” that waves must be the actual mechanism involved. The actions by these two “authorities” was not about “definitive experiments” but something that seemed to fit. The central point here being that the actual mechanism used, was always observed only at the macro scale, and the part pertaining to the quantum scale, being all an inference. What was proposed, was indirectly established, to have that argued by EPR as being the only plausible explanation and then by getting it fitted to math, somehow ended in seeming to be science based; until that also was insufficient and so all phenomena is only explainable with just math, meaning that there is nothing there in the physical sense. or reality is non-physical. What was done, regarding an explanation, in a more definitive way, was when Herman Haus, Institute professor of electronic engineering, redid the Non-Radiation Condition(NRC) which condition those SQM people (see above) never resolved; In particular, why the electron, as it accelerates around the nucleus, does not lose its orbital energy, to fall into the nucleus. Haus found, that his new way of considering the NRC could be used to derive a modern and much more accurate model of the electron that does not require waves. A student of Haus, Randell Mills, totally independent of Haus, also derived the same model of the electron. Based on this, Mills went on to redo all of quantum mechanics to write his Grand Unified Theory-Classical Physics(GUT-CP), which was then used to redo the explanation for the far field pattern without using waves, but instead using a model that applies to all particles, including light, that is at least 100 times more accurate than SQM. GUT-CP was used for its prediction, that the electron in Hydrogen can be made to fall below ground state, to guide the development of the Suncell. That device is now being tested in pilot plants located in several power utility companies, to prove, once and for all, that the electron in hydrogen can and does fall below ground state to produce 200 times more power from a litre of water than can be obtained from burning an equal amount of gasoline. Mass production of the Suncell has been arranged to be done in the latter parts of 2024, by several companies that do that kind of work for many other commonly used devices. That is all outlined in the business presentation on the site of Brilliant Light and Power Inc. as found under the menu item: Operations> Business Also view a visual audio presentation to be made by the CEO, Mills, at https://globalenergymeet.com/experts where Mills is to be one of those experts. Virtually everything ever disputed from Einstein's views have turned out to have held true (Although Tesla's interpretation displays a better understanding of energy in general than what Einstein generically attributed to gravity alone.) This can not be said about Borne or Bell. Although in today's societies these ideas have become more popular, it's akin to adopting a philosophy that justifies what you wish to believe rather than accepting wherever the facts lead you. Today's "quantum physics" is nothing more than a suedoscience, always pointing to quantum mechanics and other genuine sciences to dress themselves up as a science (as all fake suedoscience does) but at the end of the day follows no scientific method, offers no genuine proofs (outside of mathematical representations to prove logical consistency) and unsurprisingly has developed exactly nothing other than flashy titles to help dupe donors into cutting checks. The obvious but unpopular conclusion is simply that what is commonly observed is not commonly understood, or more precisely, not understood at all. Reply @SpotterVideo @SpotterVideo 4 weeks ago Conservation of Spatial Curvature (both Matter and Energy described as "Quanta" of Spatial Curvature) Is there an alternative interpretation of "Asymptotic Freedom"? What if Quarks are actually made up of twisted tubes which become physically entangled with two other twisted tubes to produce a proton? Instead of the Strong Force being mediated by the exchange of gluons, it would be mediated by the physical entanglement of these twisted tubes. When only two twisted tubules are entangled, a meson is produced which is unstable and rapidly unwinds (decays) into something else. A proton would be analogous to three twisted rubber bands becoming entangled and the "Quarks" would be the places where the tubes are tangled together. The behavior would be the same as rubber balls (representing the Quarks) connected with twisted rubber bands being separated from each other or placed closer together producing the exact same phenomenon as "Asymptotic Freedom" in protons and neutrons. The force would become greater as the balls are separated, but the force would become less if the balls were placed closer together. ------------------------ String Theory was not a waste of time, because Geometry is the key to Math and Physics. However, can we describe Standard Model interactions using only one extra spatial dimension? What if we describe subatomic particles as spatial curvature, instead of trying to describe General Relativity as being mediated by particles? Fixing the Standard Model with more particles is like trying to mend a torn fishing net with small rubber balls, instead of a piece of twisted twine. Quantum Entangled Twisted Tubules: “We are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question which divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being correct.” Neils Bohr (lecture on a theory of elementary particles given by Wolfgang Pauli in New York, c. 1957–8, in Scientific American vol. 199, no. 3, 1958) The following is meant to be a generalized framework for an extension of Kaluza-Klein Theory. Does it agree with the “Twistor Theory” of Roger Penrose? During the early history of mankind, the twisting of fibers was used to produce thread, and this thread was used to produce fabrics. The twist of the thread is locked up within these fabrics. Is matter made up of twisted 3D-4D structures which store spatial curvature that we describe as “particles"? Are the twist cycles the "quanta" of Quantum Mechanics? When we draw a sine wave on a blackboard, we are representing spatial curvature. Does a photon transfer spatial curvature from one location to another? Wrap a piece of wire around a pencil and it can produce a 3D coil of wire, much like a spring. When viewed from the side it can look like a two-dimensional sine wave. You could coil the wire with either a right-hand twist, or with a left-hand twist. Could Planck's Constant be proportional to the twist cycles. A photon with a higher frequency has more energy. ( E=hf, More spatial curvature as the frequency increases = more Energy ). What if gluons are actually made up of these twisted tubes which become entangled with other tubes to produce quarks. (In the same way twisted electrical extension cords can become entangled.) Therefore, the gluons are a part of the quarks. Quarks cannot exist without gluons, and vice-versa. Mesons are made up of two entangled tubes (Quarks/Gluons), while protons and neutrons would be made up of three entangled tubes. (Quarks/Gluons) The "Color Charge" would be related to the XYZ coordinates (orientation) of entanglement. "Asymptotic Freedom", and "flux tubes" are logically based on this concept. The Dirac “belt trick” also reveals the concept of twist in the ½ spin of subatomic particles. If each twist cycle is proportional to h, we have identified the source of Quantum Mechanics as a consequence twist cycle geometry. Modern physicists say the Strong Force is mediated by a constant exchange of Mesons. The diagrams produced by some modern physicists actually represent the Strong Force like a spring connecting the two quarks. Asymptotic Freedom acts like real springs. Their drawing is actually more correct than their theory and matches perfectly to what I am saying in this model. You cannot separate the Gluons from the Quarks because they are a part of the same thing. The Quarks are the places where the Gluons are entangled with each other. Neutrinos would be made up of a twisted torus (like a twisted donut) within this model. The twist in the torus can either be Right-Hand or Left-Hand. Some twisted donuts can be larger than others, which can produce three different types of neutrinos. If a twisted tube winds up on one end and unwinds on the other end as it moves through space, this would help explain the “spin” of normal particles, and perhaps also the “Higgs Field”. However, if the end of the twisted tube joins to the other end of the twisted tube forming a twisted torus (neutrino), would this help explain “Parity Symmetry” violation in Beta Decay? Could the conversion of twist cycles to writhe cycles through the process of supercoiling help explain “neutrino oscillations”? Spatial curvature (mass) would be conserved, but the structure could change. Gravity is a result of a very small curvature imbalance within atoms. (This is why the force of gravity is so small.) Instead of attempting to explain matter as "particles", this concept attempts to explain matter more in the manner of our current understanding of the space-time curvature of gravity. If an electron has qualities of both a particle and a wave, it cannot be either one. It must be something else. Therefore, a "particle" is actually a structure which stores spatial curvature. Can an electron-positron pair (which are made up of opposite directions of twist) annihilate each other by unwinding into each other producing Gamma Ray photons? Does an electron travel through space like a threaded nut traveling down a threaded rod, with each twist cycle proportional to Planck’s Constant? Does it wind up on one end, while unwinding on the other end? Is this related to the Higgs field? Does this help explain the strange ½ spin of many subatomic particles? Does the 720 degree rotation of a 1/2 spin particle require at least one extra dimension? Alpha decay occurs when the two protons and two neutrons (which are bound together by entangled tubes), become un-entangled from the rest of the nucleons . Beta decay occurs when the tube of a down quark/gluon in a neutron becomes overtwisted and breaks producing a twisted torus (neutrino) and an up quark, and the ejected electron. The production of the torus may help explain the “Symmetry Violation” in Beta Decay, because one end of the broken tube section is connected to the other end of the tube produced, like a snake eating its tail. The phenomenon of Supercoiling involving twist and writhe cycles may reveal how overtwisted quarks can produce these new particles. The conversion of twists into writhes, and vice-versa, is an interesting process, which is also found in DNA molecules. Gamma photons are produced when a tube unwinds producing electromagnetic waves. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Within this model a black hole could represent a quantum of gravity, because it is one cycle of spatial gravitational curvature. Therefore, instead of a graviton being a subatomic particle it could be considered to be a black hole. The overall gravitational attraction would be caused by a very tiny curvature imbalance within atoms. We know there is an unequal distribution of electrical charge within each atom because the positive charge is concentrated within the nucleus, even though the overall electrical charge of the atom is balanced by equal positive and negative charge. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> In this model Alpha equals the compactification ratio within the twistor cone, which is approximately 1/137. 1= Hypertubule diameter at 4D interface 137= Cone’s larger end diameter at 3D interface where the photons are absorbed or emitted. The 4D twisted Hypertubule gets longer or shorter as twisting or untwisting occurs. (720 degrees per twist cycle.) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> How many neutrinos are left over from the Big Bang? They have a small mass, but they could be very large in number. Could this help explain Dark Matter? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Why did Paul Dirac use the twist in a belt to help explain particle spin? Is Dirac’s belt trick related to this model? Is the “Quantum” unit based on twist cycles? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I started out imagining a subatomic Einstein-Rosen Bridge whose internal surface is twisted with either a Right-Hand twist, or a Left-Hand twist producing a twisted 3D/4D membrane. The model grew out of that simple idea. I was also trying to imagine a way to stuff the curvature of a 3 D sine wave into subatomic particles. . Reply @g-9222 @g-9222 10 days ago I agree with Einstein and the glove analogy, makes perfect sense. Your analogy with the spinning coins on different planets fails because of the well known laws of probability. Just because the coin on Pluto is heads does not mean that the coin on planet earth has to be tails, for this reason your deck of cards analogy also fails and proves Bohr's theory wrong. You lot may not fully understand the fundamental laws governing what you call quantum mechanics, but I disagree that Niels Bohr is correct in his assumptions. "Physics (as we perceive it) doesn't break down at quantum levels, but our understanding of physics does." This statement sums up the mystery of particles at your quantum level. Reality is what it is, no matter how small it gets. If it can happen (if it is physically/mentally possible) then at some point, given enough time it will happen. Quantum mechanics as I see it is a big white elephant that complicates the natural order of all things, large and small. Reply 1 reply @gerrychatelain1115 @gerrychatelain1115 2 weeks ago The Universe is a 1 dimensional probability operating in 2 Dimensions that is being experienced in 3 Dimensions because of Time. In Mathematics, you must start counting somewhere so you start at 0. You can count both ways, positive (+1) or negative (-1) on this line of positions to infinity in either direction. 1 contains the concept of 0-there is no 1 without 0. Similarly, 0 is only necessary because of 1. Not here doesn’t exist without Here. With +1 (and -1), you have a position, a point = 1 Dimension. Yes or No. HERE or NOT HERE. A mathematical concept. A quantum CHOICE. When we 3D people imagine a point in our heads, our minds automatically create a picture of a dot. That’s a misleading image. A Position is imaginary-no width or depth or length...it is a probability. If a point “came to exist” there would need to be a negative point, on “the other side” of Zero-you can’t create something out of nothing and everything must balance. As long as the positive is mirrored by the negative (1) + (– 1) = 0. Think quantum entanglements. Zero sum. Still nothing going on. It is still ONLY ONE THING-a probability. It takes both +1 and minus -1 a “step/a distance/a space” each to get to 0. Two “twists” for everything to balance out again. One curving one “way” towards 0 and the other curving the “other way” towards 0. One in one direction and the other in the other direction. Because the Universe is ONLY ONE THING and everything is balanced....Nothing is happening. The Universe is still ONLY ONE THING, but it now had 2 possible points: Here (+1) and There (-1). Once you have 2 possible points-you have a LINE-another mathematical concept that you can only imagine and see by giving it width/breadth. A Line is infinitely long. In both “directions”---2 Dimensions. Eons ago, it appears that the Universe decided to make a Point, the possible became the probable and our version of the Universe began and +1 and -1 appeared and there was a Line between them. You can represent anything using lines. A Line is a representation of a series of positions between here and there. The number of positions is infinite between +1 and 0 and between -1 and 0. The universe is” made up” of an infinite number of possible positions.... It is still Only One Thing but has infinite possibilities. The All One Thing Theory. (+1>0<-1) = T A position appeared on both sides of the equation.... everything in balance. Because it is All One Thing and you cannot have two points be the same position, the two points must be separated by DISTANCE (The SPACE between 1 and 0 and the SPACE between -1 and zero). Therefore, there must be a distinction between ANY two points. Not only HERE and NOT HERE but HERE OR THERE. A Line=2 Dimensions. Because IT IS ONE THING, these 2 positions cannot exist at the same time-cannot be the observer and the observed-they must be separated by Time so it must become HERE and THEN THERE. When we start the clock the observer now can “keep track” of more than one thing. I was There (A) at one time, and now I am HERE (B) at present. Point A remains as a Point of Reference because it was “fixed” in time. THE PASSAGE OF TIME ALLOWS THE “EXISTENCE” OF MORE THAN ONE THING BEING “EXPRESSED” AT A TIME----That’s 3 Dimensions. Instead of being able to move in only two “directions”, you now can be observed to move in all directions from point to point. The Circle (a line) becomes the SPHERE = 3D THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANY TWO POINTS IS TIME. Before we start the clock we must imagine what that 2 Dimensional Universe looks like.... A Point with the IDEA of a LINE. Fortunately, we have a model of what a 2 Dimensional object looks like in 3D space. ....It’s called the Möbius strip. (You might recognize it as the Recycling Icon because it just keeps going around and around without end). Here are some links. Look at them before reading on-actually, better yet, make one yourself and be amazed! . https://youtu.be/XlQOipIVFPk https://youtu.be/-kA1_h1dZ58 A Möbius strip only has One Side-it’s ALL ONE THING! It has no Width and no Depth/Thickness. Only A Line=A series of Points. The reason we still perceive it in 3D is that it has Time. The paper exists in 3D. So even though you took this 3D piece of paper and twisted it into a 2D object and it became “one sided”......the atoms in the width and the depth of the paper didn’t “disappear”. You could see and feel “both edges” and the “thickness” of the paper. The paper is still 3D but the OBJECT is 2D. So a Möbius strip is a 2 Dimensional Object that is being presented in 3D. When we finally allow the “sides” to distance themselves/differentiate themselves by cutting the strip in half, it becomes a 3D loop which has 2 twists in it to cancel the twist you made to make it a 2D object. The same kind of twists that +1 and -1 take to go to zero. +1 twisting clockwise and -1 Twisting counter-clockwise. ....coming to zero from different directions....2 parts of the same thing, because it’s all one thing. A 2D object perceived as acting in 3D. SPACE IS THE EQUAL SIGN. It is the wave where +1 and -1 are moving towards 0. A short note about SPACE. Space is the observed position where the two “components” of the ONE WAVE “ twists” towards each other thereby and alter each other AT THAT POINT IN TIME. Every position is a point on the wave. When were observe it we see where that position is in Time. There is no “EMPTY SPACE”. There is no possible point where there isn’t something going on since the beginning. Space is not expanding. It is still a point of Infinite Size. As long as everything “balances out over time”, the Universe is still Nothing but time. What would be achieved by examining the Universe as if it was a 2D construct? Like..... so what? I must mention one more clue to the real Nature of the Universe. Whenever anyone deals with the 4 Electromagnetic Forces-Electromagnetism, Gravity, Weak Force and Strong Force, they constantly have to use a “Fudge Factor” to make their math describe the “reality”. It is called the Fine Structure Constant or Alpha. It is equal to the electronic charge squared divided by Plank’s Constant times the speed of Light. It equals 1/137.03599913 It has no dimensions. It has no Units. It is a Pure Number. Think about the Components that make it up....the electric charge is SQUARED, Plank’s Constant gives the relationship between the energy of a photon and its frequency, and by the mass-energy equivalence, the relationship between mass and frequency and C---the Speed of Light/ENERGY. I suggest that it is used as the “Adjustment Factor” because that is the price we have to pay for using 3 Dimensional mathematics on a 2 Dimensional Concept. Given two hypothetical point particles each of Planck mass and elementary charge, separated by any distance, α is the ratio of their electrostatic repulsive force to their gravitational attractive force. Richard Feynman, one of the originators and early developers of the theory of quantum electrodynamics (QED), referred to the fine-structure constant in these terms: There is a most profound and beautiful question associated with the observed coupling constant, e – the amplitude for a real electron to emit or absorb a real photon. It is a simple number that has been experimentally determined to be close to 0.08542455. (My physicist friends won't recognize this number, because they like to remember it as the inverse of its square: about 137.03597 with an uncertainty of about 2 in the last decimal place. It has been a mystery ever since it was discovered more than fifty years ago, and all good theoretical physicists put this number up on their wall and worry about it.) Immediately you would like to know where this number for a coupling comes from: is it related to pi or perhaps to the base of natural logarithms? Nobody knows. It's one of the greatest damn mysteries of physics: a magic number that comes to us with no understanding by humans. You might say the "hand of God" wrote that number, and "we don't know how He pushed His pencil." We know what kind of a dance to do experimentally to measure this number very accurately, but we don't know what kind of dance to do on the computer to make this number come out – without putting it in secretly! — R.P. Feynman[3] I believe it indicates the change of perception needed to see the observed 3D Universe as the actual 2D construct of the original quantum choice. If we squint our eyes and look at what we are seeing in a different way, we may discover a different level of meaning and knowledge. Knowing how the energy really flows makes sure we don’t get a branch in our teeth or hit a rock when we paddle our canoe. If we can see that Energy and Gravity are just expressions of the same Time Wave that creates Space for them to flow in towards zero and everything is still a point of infinite size, who knows what else we can see? The first incorrect concept is the distinction between energy and matter. Since quantum physics does not defy such incorrectness, it shows that all matter is energy. As such energy may seem to defy the notion of mass. Indeed, in classical physics it is taught that energy has No mass. Both matter and energy have mass. Quantum physics explains that all things are composed of vibration. Such vibration is a form or polar reversal. Polar reversal causes spin, ,thereby gravity and mass. The basic measurements of vibration are frequency and amplitude, such being determined by its charge. This is where the Standard Model has not bern properly envisioned. Based upon the quantum particles, the model should be that of a Rubik’s sphere wherein the Higgs boson is the intersection of the sides of the particles and the corner points can be considered as black holes, which permit both rotation and translation in all dimensions and universes. This then correlates to each particle being hexagonal ant the possibilities being of 6 to exponent 6 to exponent 6 With respect to the magnum scale, since we are limited as to shat we can detect, we have a limited view of the whole of possible vibrations at all frequencies and amplitudes. We can detect parts of the Higgs field and the web nature of it in what we can observe. The notion that the Big Bang occurred at point of singularity that is infinitesimal does no correlate to what can be inferred as gravitational potential. Such potentials can be inferred by LIGO measurements. From this it can be determined the critical mass for a singularity implosion. Reply @michaelccopelandsr7120 @michaelccopelandsr7120 4 weeks ago My idea so I get to name it! What I mean is, no one has claimed it so I'm officially calling, "Dibs." Voyager 1 is now in the, "Milky Way's interstellar time" or "Mikey's Time." "V-ger's" message has sped up now that it's outside our Sun's, "Time Bubble," or, "Terran Time." It will be faster, still, when "V-ger" sends a message from beyond the Milky Way's time bubble. Then there's Outside the Local Group time bubble. So on and so on until we get outside any influence and into the, "True Interstellar Time Standard." Or, "T.I..." ;-P Now that "V-ger" is outside our Sun's reach, in interstellar space, it's now in the Milky Way's faster moving, Interstellar Time or "Mikey's Time." This can be proven by turning off everything except its clock and transmitter. Have "V-ger" read time for as long as possible. They WILL show the flow of time speeds up the further away you get from any celestial bodies. Until you reach the Milky Way's time standard or "Mikey's Time." •Our sun's time bubble: "Terran Time" we know and have measured. In a lifetime, our head is one second younger than our feet. •Milky Way's time bubble or "Mikey's Time." The rate/flow of TIME outside any influence but within the Milky Way: We just got there and are still figuring what the difference is. Wild guess I'd say time will increase in speed, now and until V-ger is outside the Ort cloud. •Local Group's time bubble or the rate/flow of time outside of any influence but within the Local Group: Name still open and unknown. Wild guess .08 P-22% to a couple seconds faster, maybe. Used just for reference. •Outside any influence in the, "True Interstellar Time Standard." (or T.I...) ;-P This name is NOT up for grabs. The rate/flow of time is fastest here. (Time flows fastest here so it's best to use a motor boat and hold tight. Always applies when you're in T.I....) ;-P A minute is a minute in all. It's the rate/flow I'm talking about. Heck, rivers of time flowing differently might explain dark energy and dark matter. The Milky Way's Interstellar Time Standard will be known as, "Mikey's Time." Reply @michaelccopelandsr7120 @michaelccopelandsr7120 4 weeks ago I need help with my new years resolution. I've figured out how to change the stars. My idea for changing the stars includes Orion and Pleiades (Subaru). I figure it's time to put something up there that's relevant to us, don't you think? Take Orion's belt and Betelgeuse becomes the head with a baseball hat. Below the belt are two legs bending at the knee. The feet aligning perfectly under the bent knees. The 3 stars of Orion's belt align perfectly as the 3 fat belt loops on a baseball uniform. The spear pointing at "Subaru" is the bat being swung and "Pleiades" is the baseball flying away after being hit. Put it all together and you get, "THE ALL-STAR." In my case, I see a left-handed batter and I imagine a "7" on the jersey. Which makes him, "Mickey." (As it should be ;-) But you can put any number you want, making, "THE ALL-STAR," any player you want. It'd be wrong of me to not, at least, try. This is me, trying. Pass it on, please and thank you. Reply @RichardAlsenz @RichardAlsenz 1 month ago You may want to rethink this. You may consider this ludicrous, but what follows here has orders of magnitude less mistakes than the information presented in this video. It could take another 2000 years for these mistakes in this video to be common knowledge to physicists and another 2000 for the mathematicans to become aware of them. To see what has become known as Planck's Nobel Prize equation E=hv be so misrepresented makes me so uncomfortable. Planck's constant is composed of irrational units of measure handed down for 2000 years from Euclid through Newton, Maxwell, ---> Einstein. All these misconceptions are due to the Euclidean assumption that a point has no part. The irrational mistake was probably handed down many years before Euclid was born. Planck did not realize his Nobel Prize equation was a geometry, for Planck fell for Einstein's misrepresentation that the E was equal to Einstein's energy; that is how the irrational mathematics were implanted in Planck's works. As Gauss pointed out in 1830, there is no necessity in space. No Human has ever seen Euclid's points because points do not exist in the geometry of the Field, for it is time that passes in the structure of the Field. Many irrational mathematicians claim the Aether to be nonexistent but they are wrong; for the Aether is the Efield. It is simple to remove Planck's irrational constant by replacing the irrational h with the Alsenz/Gauss rational constant a/g. When that is done, Paul Dirac's wish for simplicity and elegance is met. The Alsenz/Gauss rational rotational vortex geometry, which is the Electric Field, is given by E= (a/g) {f=1/Tp), and this is consistent with Doppler's red and blue shifting of the electromagnetic Field as well as acceleration observed by Galileo; a = -1/TpTp. Humans observe this as a force provided by the electric charge distribution. When the distribution within a region of time is equaled by + and - charges, the acceleration is diminished to the energy once referred to as Newton's mass. So, the gravitational forces were not proportional to the inverse of distance; they were proportional to the inverse of the time it took the electric fields to be sensed by each other. The irrationality that prevailed for 2000 years disappears, and Mother Nature's complexity (Physics) becomes rational and obviously simple. a/g. What has been labeled QM becomes, in fact, the only geometry of all physics. The notions of space, distance, and mass become irrational characterizations of humans using irrational mathematics. 1 Reply 1 reply @kennethgee2004 @kennethgee2004 2 days ago So if it is illogical then it is necessarily false. But I enumerated 171 instances of assertions, allusions, and metaphors that you're to assume prove points. But not a single point is ever proven. I keep watching these to find some proof that a photon exists and behaves as they say. This very expensive treatment fails. In my career, really good science does not require expensive presentations. Really bad science (e.g. cosmology) basks in expensive illustrations. Just like religion, this presentation leaves you feeling you've learned something and thus benefited. In fact, you have not.
