Too much coffee can increase cortisol and adrenaline, so limit your daily coffee intake to one cup. Caffeine is a phytochemical found in coffee and other plants. Caffeine keeps us awake by inhibiting a compound called adenosine. Coffee can give you mental acuity, help you focus, and improve your ability to learn. Was drinking 3-4 cups every morning and then hitting the gym. Past year had bad knee joint pain. As last resort quit coffee cold turkey. After 2 weeks all pain went away as well the joint inflammation. I believe I developed cortisol resistance from coffee and exercise. Reset it by quitting coffee. But coffee is awesome in the morning so back to 1-2 cups, so far so good. Update: welp after going back to coffee achy joints started again. Was in pain after playing golf and couldn’t concentrate either. So no more coffee. Don’t care what anybody says, there’s nothing positive about coffee. I usually have 1 largish cup a day, sometimes 2. I began getting indigestion but through watching other videos, I came to the conclusion that I had low stomach acid and began taking betain HCL, which has been helpful. Alcohol sweeteners also gave me indigestion, so I can only tolerate stevia. I had my gall bladder removed many years ago and have had issues with constipation. I do take your gall bladder formula, which also has betain HCL, but I suspected I needed more. Still working on the constipation issue and coffee also helps move my bowels in the morning. I started going to a naturopath and found I have a congested liver. One of the symptoms was belching and some pain. I'm detoxing and feel much better. I noticed I would start belching and feel bloated much of the time after consuming certain things. Coffee was one of them. I stopped drinking coffee and within a day the belching and bloated feeling went away. After 4 days I tried a cup of coffee in the morning as an experiment and 10 minutes after drinking it I started belching again. My naturopath thinks it may be the chemicals used in the growing and processing of coffee so I am going to buy some organic coffee and see if that affects me or not. Add a little salt to the grounded beans and then add enough water to get the beans just wet. Mix and mash that with a wooden spoon while waiting for the water to boil. Then add the boiled water to mix and wait 10 mins. I add a bit more salt to my cup and pour the coffee with some heavy whipping cream. It's so good and easy to drink without sugar. If I feel like blending, then I will make coffee with butter and MCT oil. I have green coffee - 50/50% green with roasted beans, with teaspoon manuka honey and teaspoon Xylitol in 1 cup warm UNHYMOGENISED (retains all the fat) Milk. I also will boil 250mls true cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cayenne pepper, Hawthorne and chaste tree berry power boil in water like Greek coffee, then add sweeteners and tablespoon Collagen, then add the warm milk. Awesome morning detox coffee. I also have 1/2 teaspoon Greek coffee (short black) in afternoon with 1/2 teaspoon xylitol with 1 square dark chocolate and glass of water. Great to keep you going till 5pm, but not enough to stop you sleeping in evenings. Since using Xylitol I have not had a tooth cavity in 30 years and a teaspoon of Manuka (Tea Tree) honey in the morning is the ultimate in good health. 1 Reply @sharpenrightservicesllc 1 month ago Watching as I have my coffee. Combined with ibuprofen and acetaminophen, I almost never get migraines now. Nicotine has benefits too. When I had COVID, the only symptoms I had were anxiety, insomnia, irritability and loss of appetite. I wasn't smoking, but was craving nicotine uncontrollably. So I bought low dose nicotine patches, instead of cigarettes. It helped immeasurably. I would predict my coffee consumption is between 30-40 oz per day, although some days as little as 4-8oz or even 0 on some days. But I grew up drinking lots of Dr. Pepper which is a potent caffeine solution so I think I have adjusted to it at this point. Not so much soda in the diet any longer. Still has the caffeine to wake me up, matcha containes L-Theanine which makes you calmer. So i get the caffeine benefits without jitters and crash mid day. Every 24 hours I felt compelled to drink another coffee and from 1 cup to 0 cups was the worst. I felt tired and weird for about 2 months. When I quit coffee, I started to feel more connected to my feminine energy more than ever and for feminine energy I mean I could remember better my dreams, I could meditate easier, I could be more chilled and tranquil. Coffee changes your personality. Coffee helps with the masculine energy which means when you need to do something quick and under stress on the material world. But when you realize that you can do the same thing respecting your pace and you can let go...if you face the fear of not having all under control , this really helps to listen to yourself , your body , your needs. Ps something interesting is that i dont like the taste of it anymore, and i loved the taste. Which only confirms to me, it was an addiction. Kids are the best teachers. They know that alcol, cigarettes, coffee and many times also sugar suck, they are right. For vegetables there s another simple reason: they need to grow and for that they need nurishing food such as animal products. We as adults need also to puritlfy, and detox and so we like vegetables. The coffee bean is in fact the pit in a small berry. The berry is split form the pit by dry or wet washing and the the pits are let to dry in the sun until they have less than 12% humidity. They are small and hard like the pits of oranges. Once they get roasted (important low temperature and slow, so no factory roast) they get their final taste and substance. Get a PH strip test done ( you can buy cheap ones online ) Ensure you're not on the acidic side. As coffee on an acidic body can cause issues, and you wouldn't even know it's coming from coffee as it builds problems in your body over time. Coffee dehydrates the muscles, and if you are experiencing muscle dehydration on an acidic body - it can cause long term problems that are difficult to reverse. Both my parents are naturopaths, nutritionists and a bunch of other health related titles under their belt. Although I went into a different career ( programming lol ) I grew up with WEALTH of knowledge due to my parent's practice. And we see coffee induced damage a lottt. So just my two cents here :) Coffee is great. But make sure your body isn't already stressed from dehydration and acidic blood / urine. I miss the taste and the morning ritual but I’m not convinced coffee is good for you, especially not for everyone. I think we live in a caffeine-addicted society where most people consume caffeine daily for the energy boost (which I sadly never experienced) so they want to justify their addiction and insist coffee is healthy. It was like some kind of rocket fuel. Can someone who works in the relative industry kindly explain to me how on Earth you make coffee that strong on the caffeine tip?!
