Pierre Pallardy is an orphan at the age of twelve. He lives in various homes, serves as lieutenant during the war in Algeria and various odd jobs 1 . He then undertakes physiotherapy studies . Graduated in 1978 from the European School of Osteopathy , he also acquired a dietician training 2 .
In 1979 , he published his first book, La Grande forme , in which he advocated a method based on harmony of mind and body and respect for natural rhythms. The book becomes a bestseller 2 .
In the 1980s , Pierre Pallardy became a media star, frequently interviewed in the French press. His practice has many stars as clients, which makes him the osteopath of "all-Paris" . He publishes several other bestsellers on "well-being" , which are translated into various languages. He and his wife Florence, who co-wrote some of his books are presented by it as "the perfect pair Health" 3 . He gets one of his biggest bookstores success with And if it came from the belly? , published in 2002 , which sells 200,000 copies 4 .
In 2006 , following complaints by fifteen of his former patients, is indicted for rape and sexual assault 5 . Sentenced to ten years in prison in 2013 , he was sentenced in 2015 to eight years' imprisonment and a definitive ban on his practice, having been found guilty of raping four patients and sexual assault on three others. 6 .
