2,344,019 views Dec 13, 2012 I tried my very best to be unbiased for this list, and really, ranking this beautiful men wasn't easy. I changed the ranking so many times, and this is the finish product :) Others on the list may not be conventionally handsome, and you may think "why him?!", but it's just that I'd seen something beautiful in them, so here :) Please feel free to comment the name of any classic actor that you think I had overlooked. Great face, wavy black hair, startling blue eyes, dimple in his chin, unbelievable build, as tall as a redwood tree, deep baritone voice, and could sing like an angel. He was also a complete gentleman. 90 Reply 14 replies Toni Sumblin Toni Sumblin 1 month ago Jeffrey Hunter was gorgeous. He was pure Rugged Smoldering Masculinity and with so many superb screen performances in iconic & memorable films 🌠 beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and there may be different strokes for different folks but Greg's gentle forlorn squinty knitted eyebrow and his mountain deep thunder voice and his powerfully steady grand stature made him hollywood's purest manly masculine beauty EVER 💙 164 Reply 17 replies avocate201 avocate201 1 year ago (edited) The young Gary Cooper has my vote for No. 1. Unlike shorter guys like Alain Delon, James Dean, or Paul Newman, Cooper had the complete package. He was beautiful, tall, elegant, incredibly stylish, and looked great in everything. He was like a male model before there were male models. His looks and style were legendary. 123 Reply 22 replies Maria Oliveira Maria Oliveira 1 year ago Robert Taylor was the most handsome actor. His look was like a Greek God. His dark hair and blue eyes were amazing. He left too soon. Rest in piece, Robert. 😂🙏💓 74 Reply 5 replies Linda ferraro Linda ferraro 4 weeks ago Marcello Mastroianni....men just don't get more handsome than that! ❤ 4 Reply Maria Oliveira Maria Oliveira 1 year ago Robert Taylor, for me the most beautiful actor of all times. Some, on the edge of pretty yet rugged enough to be called manly, and others ruggedly handsome. My favorite, Tyrone Powers! 30 Reply 2 replies Mary Crawford Mary Crawford 3 years ago (edited) I loved Robert Taylor and agree that he was extraordinarily handsome. I'm surprised that William Holden and Louis Jourdan aren't on the list. So happy to see Alain Delon there! Gregory Peck is my personal favourite. 109 Reply 4 replies Amy Egan Amy Egan 2 years ago Can't believe Clint Walker isn't on any of these lists! Beautiful man in every way! I was 11, and all my preteen movie star crushes were in black-and-white. My favorites were Cary Grant (my #1!), Erroyl Flynn (actually I think I saw Robin Hood on tv when I was about age 8 -- great film! Lovely costumes!), also Burt Lancaster, Tyrone Power. And I also agree on Montgomery Clift and Laurence Olivier. In more recent years, while enjoying TCM, I have grown even more appreciation for not only the classy looks, but the truth and humanity of their acting, the writers who brought out the characters and stories, the moods of the lighting, et cetera. Robert Taylor was certainly one of the best! 28 Reply Helena Martinelli. Helena Martinelli. 3 years ago Rudolph Valentino meu preferido muito lindo. Glad that you reminded us of some of the finest actors whose work should not be forgotten. The only person who I wish had been included is Ronald Coleman. (Thinking along the lines of "Early/Golden Age" Hollywood.) 13 Reply Bill Lasselle Bill Lasselle 3 weeks ago They were all absolutely gorgeous. It’s impossible to pick a favorite. 2 Reply carol harry carol harry 4 years ago Robert Taylor was not only handsome, but so talented too. Loved him in Waterloo Bridge. My husband's grandfather and Robert Taylor were 2nd cousins. We always watch his movies when they are on. 87 Reply 6 replies drumsport drumsport 3 years ago Robert Osborne always said that Robert Taylor was the most perfectly handsome man ever to grace the silver screen. Hard to choose a #1 for me, but I always wished I could have been born to look like Tyrone Power. Tyrone and Piper Laurie forged a perfect love story in "The Mississippi Gambler". 14 Reply 3 replies Michael Smith Michael Smith 3 years ago I kept waiting to see two of Lana Turner's leading men on your list: John Garfield (the Postman Always Rings Twice) and John Gavin (Imitation of Life). Both were beautiful men that had respectible careers in Hollywood. Otherwise, I enjoyed your list and agreed with 80% of it. thanks for putting it together. I'm working late tonight, and it's been nice to take a break and look at those handsome faces from long ago. 20 Reply 3 replies oksana price oksana price 1 year ago (edited) They are all incredibly beautiful, but Gary Cooper and Peter O'Toole are my favs! 9 Reply 1 reply Gloria Hanes Gloria Hanes 3 years ago (edited) My grandmother knew Charles Boyer and would invite him for dinner when he was in Michigan. She said the two of them grew up together and were the best of friends. She also knew Robert Mitchum as well and he too was invited to dinner. I fell in love with Cornel Wilde, a great actor, when I was ten years old and even though he is gone, I still think of him often. 14 Reply 6 replies modonna wilkinson modonna wilkinson 1 year ago Gary Cooper and Robert Taylor had perfect features. Their eyes and lips were mesmerizing. 48 Reply 1 reply Tonithenightowl Tonithenightowl 7 years ago Robert Taylor was ridiculously handsome when young. Another favorite not mentioned is Stewart Granger. I don't know about anyone else but Dirk Bogarde and Desi Arnaz could pass for brothers lol. Tony Curtis said he was the most handsome kid on his block and I believe it. Cary Grant just got better with age. John Derek didn't make the list but he was very handsome, too. Give me the likes of Yul Brenner for a face with character. :o) 47 Reply 7 replies Fire Inside Fire Inside 3 years ago 6 Reply steve daley steve daley 3 years ago No one will deny that Robert Taylor was a handsome devil but the accolades for most handsome has to go, hands down, to Errol Flynn. There was no one like him. Right behind him has to be Gary Cooper, one of the most perfect faces ever to be captured on film. I'm disappointed that William Holden is not mentioned in this collage. He certainly deserves it. 11 Reply 3 replies SNB SNB 1 year ago good list. especially with Robert Redford. was wondering how Harry Belafonte and Sidney Poitier didnt make the list 19 Reply 3 replies Loz Bailey Loz Bailey 3 years ago I can’t believe James Garner never made the list. For me, he should be number one. He was drop dead gorgeous. 125 Reply 10 replies Georgina Mannor Georgina Mannor 1 year ago Carey Grant, so handsome and Valantino. I would say many actors were not necessarily handsome but they had great character and magnetism, which made them very very attractive 12 Reply Genevieve L Genevieve L 4 years ago Lovely to see Robert Taylor, such a talented man in so many fields. I would have included the beautiful face of Ronald Colman - he also had the most beautiful speaking voice of all time. 27 Reply 1 reply The Navy Lady The Navy Lady 2 years ago I recently have acquired a deep admiration of Tyrone Power. From what I've read and seen, everyone in Hollywood considered him one the "prettiest" and most handsome man they'd ever met. I agree. And apparently, he was a very nice, kind man. I watched some biographies and other videos of him, and he was, indeed, the prettiest man I've ever seen. I think that Jensen Ackles, "Dean" on the show "Supernatural" is a close mirror image of Ty. Gorgeous human beings. 36 Reply 11 replies Chancy Cat Chancy Cat 3 years ago Charlton Heston deserves to be one this list also! 79 Reply 3 replies Ilca Suely ilca Ilca Suely ilca 1 month ago Todos em atuações belíssimas. Tony Curtis gotta love that baby face. Errol Flynn, great stage presence. And everybody loves Paul Newman :) 5 Reply CISNE NEGRO CISNE NEGRO 1 year ago (edited) Pra mim o ator mais charmoso foi Humphrey Bogart. Rodolpho Valentino, Paul Newman, Robert Taylor, pra mim Alain Delon tinha muita fama, e fim. 5 Reply Matt Cohen Matt Cohen 8 months ago Humphrey Bogart was a marvelous actor, but I have never seen him included on a most handsome list.
