unapologetically can't stand Tom Cruz whether he's dangling off planes or defying age like some kind of vampire
0:16
Cruz is undeniably one of the most recognizable faces in the entertainment industry but why what could anyone
0:24
possibly have against the guy who practically invented running in a tuxedo action scenes from onset drama to just
0:31
plain Cruz energy these feuds are juicier than a Tom Cruz slow motion motorcycle scene so grab your popcorn
0:39
and prepare for a journey through the celebrity drama files because when it comes to Tom Cruz there's always more
0:46
than meets the eye and we're here to Spill the tea let's dive
0:52
in Nicole Kidman and the aftermath of her divorce from Tom Cruz Once Upon a
0:58
Time in Hollywood Tom Cruz and Nicole Kidman were the ultimate power couple married in 1990 they seemed like a match
1:05
made in A-list Heaven beautiful talented and oozing on screen chemistry but after
1:11
11 years their seemingly perfect union came to an end in 2001 leaving fans
1:16
everywhere stunned and tabloids frothing at the mouth theories about their split flooded gossip columns faster than Cru
1:24
could Sprint through an action scene the most persistent rumor Scientology
1:30
Cruz's deep involvement with the church reportedly clashed with Kidman's Catholic upbringing and her discomfort
1:37
with the church's influence on their family it wasn't exactly a recipe for
1:42
marital bliss post divorce Kidman largely stayed tight lipped about Cruz
1:48
and their time together but in a rare candid moment during a 2006 interview
1:54
with ladyes Home Journal she reflected on her struggles during their marriage I
1:59
felt became a star only by association I didn't think those early years were very good for me I became
2:06
famous very young I became very insecure she admitted it's the kind of brutally
2:12
honest reflection that makes you want to pour her a glass of wine and say girl
2:17
same while Cruz moved on to other high-profile relationships Kidman found
2:23
her own happily ever after with Keith Urban and honestly we love a queen who
2:28
learns grows and
2:36
glows Brook Shields and Tom Cruz the anti-depressant feud in 2005 Brook
2:42
Shields beloved actress model and everyone's 8s Crush found herself in a
2:48
headline grabbing spat with none other than Tom Cruz the drama kicked off when
2:54
shields bravely opened up about her struggle with postpartum depression in her Memoir down came the rain and shared
3:01
how anti-depressants had helped her sounds reasonable right not to Tom Cruz
3:06
Cruz Hollywood's most vocal critic of Psychiatry and devoted Scientology poster boy took serious issue with
3:13
Shield's comments on a promotional tour for War of the Worlds he called her
3:19
actions irresponsible and dismissed anti-depressants as ineffective let's
3:25
just say Brook Shields was not here for it in a perfectly executed clap back
3:30
Shields fired back Tom should stick to saving the world from Aliens and let women who are experiencing postpartum
3:36
depression decide what treatment options are best for them the alien reference a
3:43
cheeky nod to War of the Worlds and Cruz's well-documented Scientology beliefs burn Brook burn Cruz's comments
3:52
didn't go over well critics accused him of being out of touch insensitive and
3:57
frankly a bit clueless about postart depression Shields meanwhile emerged as
4:02
a fierce advocate for women's health and mental well-being eventually crus
4:08
apologized to Shields in person presumably while trying not to LEAP onto any nearby couches while the incident
4:15
may be water under the bridge for them it remains a memorable chapter in Hollywood's long history of celebrity

drama

[Music] if you want to explore the journey with me please leave number one and watch
4:33
this video Until the End interesting things are waiting for you in the video Leah reminy exposing secrets and
4:41
sparring with Tom Cruz Leah reminy best known for her role as the non-nonsense
4:47
wife on The King of Queens made headlines when she publicly left the church of Scientology in 2013 after more
4:55
than 30 years of membership since her departure reminy has become one of the
5:00
most vocal critics of the church and she's not pulling any punches especially when it comes to its most famous member
5:07
Tom Cruz in her 2015 Memoir Troublemaker surviving Hollywood and Scientology
5:14
reminy spilled the tea on her experiences within the church and her interactions with Cruz she claimed that
5:20
the actor is held in such high esteem among scientologists that many believe he's single-handedly saving the world
5:28
through his commitment to the Rel no pressure Tom reminy also alleged that
5:33
Cruz is well aware of the abuses that take place within the church but deliberately chooses to turn a blind eye
5:40
she even described him as diabolical accusing him of manipulating his Public Image to maintain his status as a
5:48
Hollywood icon ouch the actress's outspoken criticism has made her a
5:54
target of the church which has vehemently denied her claims and attempted to discredit her
6:00
but if there's one thing we know about Leah reminy it's that she's not easily deterred she's on a mission to expose
6:07
what she believes to be the harmful practices of the organization and she's not afraid to ruffle a few feathers
6:13
along the [Music]
6:20
way Mark Wahlberg the irresponsible comments heard around Hollywood in 2013
6:26
Tom Cruz landed himself in yet another controversy this time during a deposition for a
6:31
lawsuit against a magazine publisher Cruz reportedly made comments comparing the challenges of his acting career to
6:38
the experiences of soldiers fighting in Afghanistan enter Mark wallberg star of
6:44
The Departed and the fighter and someone who doesn't mince words especially when it comes to respecting military service
6:52
while promoting his film Lone Survivor a harrowing account of a Navy SEAL Mission
6:57
gone wrong Walberg didn't name Cruz directly but clearly had him in his crosshairs for actors to sit there and
7:04
talk about oh I went to Seal training or I slept on the I don't give a f what you
7:12
did wallberg fumed during a press event you don't do what these guys did for
7:17
somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as somebody in the militaries how effing dare you while you
7:24
sit in a makeup chair for 2 hours the public applauded walberg's no-nonsense stance seeing his comments as a stark
7:31
reminder of the sacrifices made by those in the armed forces meanwhile Cruz's
7:37
remarks only solidified his growing reputation as someone increasingly out of touch with reality although Cruz's
7:45
Representatives later claimed that his comments were taken out of context the damage was already done it served as yet
7:52
another cautionary tale about the Power of Words and a reminder that comparing Hollywood to a battlefield is a sure
7:59
fire way to step on a PR
8:08
landmine what's better than starting the day with a delicious cup of tea and watching this fascinating video
8:15
together fandy Newton and her nightmare with Tom Cruz fandy Newton the brilliant
8:21
British actress known for Westworld in Crash didn't hold back when reflecting on her challenging experience working
8:28
with Tom Cruz on the set of mission impossible to in a candid 2020 interview
8:34
with vulture Newton described Cruz as a very dominant individual who tries super
8:40
hard to be a nice person but often crumbles under the weight of his own Relentless perfectionism Newton recalled
8:46
one particularly excruciating scene where Cruz's frustration with her
8:51
performance created an atmosphere of pure tension I can't think of anything less
8:58
revealing she said said of the situation it just pushed me further into a place of Terror and insecurity it was a real
9:06
shame and bless him I really do mean bless him because he was trying his damnest while her comments weren't an
9:13
outright condemnation they painted a vivid picture of a high pressure workking environment that left her
9:18
feeling anxious and undermined although Newton emphasized that Cruz wasn't horrible her experience sheds light on
9:25
the intense power dynamics in Hollywood even season star like Newton can feel rattled under the Gaze of a mega star
9:32
whose demand for excellence often borders on obsessive it's a reminder that sometimes even when you're working
9:39
with Ethan Hunt himself the mission feels more impossible than
9:51
inspiring Russell crow in the Fallout from Cruz's divorce Russell Crow and Nicole Kidman go way back like
9:58
Australian entertainment industry in the 80s back their friendship reportedly started at a party Kidman hosted where
10:05
she ambitiously attempted to cook Pella for 500 guests but hilariously forgot to
10:11
cook the rice a culinary disaster sure but a friendship was born and it turned
10:16
out to be far more enduring than that ill-fated Pella when Kidman's marriage to Tom Cruz ended in 2001 Crow didn't
10:24
just pick a side he planted his flag firmly in Camp Nicole according to
10:30
reports the Gladiator star harbored a deep resentment toward Cruz for how he
10:35
handled the divorce which was messy even by Hollywood standards Crow allegedly
10:40
decided that staying friends with Cruz would feel like betraying Kidman so he opted to freeze Cruz out of his life
10:47
entirely while Crow and Cruz did technically work together on the mummy in 2017 their off-screen Dynamic was
10:54
anything but friendly sources close to Crow claimed that he hasn't been able to stand Tom for years and never forgave
11:02
him for the way he treated Nicole while Crow has never publicly AED his grievances it's safe to say he's not
11:08
inviting crew over for a barbecue anytime soon loyalty might be Russell Crow's gladiatorial superow but it also
11:16
makes for one Epic Hollywood
11:24
Grudge Jud appow scathing monologue taking aim at Tom Cruz
11:29
Jud Apatow the comedic Mastermind behind hits like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and knocked up raised eyebrows at the 2023
11:37
Director's Guild of America Awards when he dedicated his monologue to roasting Tom Cruz despite having no direct
11:45
connection to Cruz appow didn't hold back delivering zingers that had the audience in stitches and probably made
11:53
Cruz's PR team break into a cold sweat appow kicked things off by poking fun at
11:58
Cruz's height the director then Revisited some of Cruz's more Infamous moments including the legendary 2005
12:06
Oprah couch jumping incident remember when Tom Cruz jumped up and down on the couch and we all thought what a lunatic
12:13
appow quipped bringing the audience back to that Unforgettable moment perhaps the
12:19
sharpest jab came when appau tackled Cruz's parenting and controversial views on
12:24
Psychiatry appau said referencing Cruz's vocal opposition into psychiatric
12:30
medication and his reportedly distant relationship with his daughter Suri
12:35
while the monologue left the audience laughing it also sparked debate about whether Apatow's takedown was too harsh
12:42
or simply the kind of unfiltered comedy Hollywood needs either way one thing's
12:47
for sure Cruz probably didn't send a thank you
12:57
note Mickey Ro's lack of respect for Tom Cruz when it comes to Tom Cruz Mickey
13:03
roor doesn't hold back the Oscar nominated actor known for gritty performances in the wrestler and Sin
13:09
City made waves in 2022 with his brutally honest take on Cruz during an
13:15
interview with Piers Morgan while Morgan gushed over the success of top gun
13:20
Maverick which became the highest grossing film of Cruz's career roor was
13:25
far from impressed he compared Cruz's career to that of legendary actors like
13:30
Al Pacino Christopher Walkin and Robert dairo Cruz in Ro's eyes is more popcorn
13:37
flicks than profound performances the Barfly Stars comments suggest he sees
13:43
Cruz as a one-trick pony an actor who has leaned heavily on his charm and
13:48
megawatt smile without taking on roles that truly challenge him meanwhile Ro's
13:55
admiration for actors known for transformative intense performances underscores his belief in the importance
14:01
of pushing boundaries and evolving as an artist while Cruz might not be losing sleep over Ro's critique the moment
14:08
highlighted a fundamental divide in Hollywood the tension between commercial success and artistic credibility one
14:16
thing's for sure if there's a sequel to this Feud Mickey won't be holding
14:27
back Seth Rogan's hilar Scientology story Seth Rogan the comedic Mastermind
14:33
behind Knocked Up and super bad shared one of his wildest Hollywood encounters during a 2021 appearance on the Howard
14:40
Stern Show the story takes us back to 2006 when Rogan and director Jud appow
14:46
met with Tom Cruz to discuss movies or so they thought things quickly took a
14:51
detour into Uncharted Territory Scientology according to Rogan Cruz
14:57
casually brought up Scientology dur during the meeting comparing the media's treatment of the religion to the
15:02
portrayal of controversial figures like Louis farakhan then came Cruz's pitch
15:07
it's like with Scientology Cruz reportedly said if you let me just tell you what it was really about just give
15:14
me like 20 minutes you'd say no effing way no effing way Rogan and appau
15:20
exchanged a look that could only be described as what did we just get ourselves into Rogan in true
15:28
self-deprecating style admitted that he didn't feel confident he could resist the pull of Cruz's charm and
15:34
scientology's persuasion if they got him what chance do I have he joked
15:41
thankfully appow swooped in like the MVP he is and steered the conversation back
15:47
to movies saving them both from a potential Deep dive into Scientology Doctrine looking back Rogan described
15:54
the whole encounter as dodging a bullet while hilariously acknowledging the strange power dynamics at play Cruz
16:02
might be a Hollywood meast star but even he couldn't rope Rogan into a 20-minute sales pitch on
16:08
Scientology and for that we thank Jud appow the unsung hero of this very
16:13
loaded
16:20
moment Brad Pitt's resentment during Interview with the Vampire Brad Pit and Tom Cruz two of the
16:28
biggest heartthrob of the 9s teamed up for the 1994 Gothic drama Interview with
16:33
the Vampire on screen they played Immortal vampires locked in a Darkly
16:38
seductive battle of wits offscreen let's just say the fangs
16:43
weren't entirely fake according to reports pit wasn't exactly thrilled with Cruz during filming there came a point
16:51
when I started really resenting him pit allegedly admitted he's North Pole I'm
16:57
South these two could wouldn't have been more different if one of them were a vampire and the other a werewolf pit
17:03
still early in his rise to super stardom reportedly felt overshadowed by Cruz's
17:09
megawatt celebrity status and control over the production while Cruz's perfectionism and Charisma dominated the
17:16
set Pit's more laidback approach to acting clashed with his co-stars intensity the result a behind the scenes
17:23
rivalry that simmered throughout the shoot despite the tension the two managed to deliver Unforgettable
17:30
performances turning Interview with the Vampire into a box office hit that
17:35
grossed over 200 million worldwide and earned several Academy Award nominations
17:42
their professionalism ensured the movie became a visual Masterpiece and a fan favorite even if pit probably wanted to
17:49
drive a stake through crues onset Antics sometimes even Hollywood's finest can't
17:55
escape a little blood Feud but hey at least their fictional characters got along better than they
18:07
did John Travolta's reported jealousy of Tom Cruz John Travolta and Tom Cruz two
18:14
high-profile members of the Church of Scientology and apparently two Rivals caught in an alleged behind the scenes
18:22
Feud according to former Scientologist Brendan Teague who spilled the tea to
18:27
new idea magazine in 2018 Travolta's reported resentment of Cruz boils down
18:33
to rank perks and well favoritism T claimed that Cruz enjoys special
18:39
treatment within the church including direct access to Scientology leader David mcage an exclusive privilege that
18:47
even Travolta despite his decades long commitment doesn't get Travolta doesn't
18:52
get anything free no one is giving him absurd gifts like an airplane hanger or custom-made bikes T said alleging that
19:00
Cruz's VIP status comes with all the bells whistles and extravagant presence
19:05
it's not just about the perks though according to Tay Cruz's higher rank
19:10
within the church has fueled a rivalry between the two actors with Travolta reportedly jealous of Cruz's position as
19:18
scientology's most prominent figure it's no secret that Cruz and Travolta
19:23
despised each other Tay added stoking the fire of speculation about their
19:29
Frosty relationship neither Travolta nor Cruz has ever publicly addressed the rumors
19:35
but the alleged Feud offers a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of scientology's celebrity
19:41
hierarchy if true it suggests that even in an organization designed to uplift
19:47
its members competition and envy can still creep in especially when luxury
19:53
gifts and Elite status are involved
20:04
Katie Holmes and the dramatic divorce Katie Holmes once America's sweetheart
20:09
from Dawson's Creek shocked the world in 2006 when she married Tom Cruz in a
20:14
fairy tale Italian ceremony but the real plot twist came 5 years later when
20:20
Holmes filed for divorce igniting rumors of a daring Escape not just from her
20:25
marriage but from the grip of Scientology Holmes reportedly grew increasingly uneasy with the church of
20:32
scientology's influence on their family having converted to the religion during their relationship she allegedly feared
20:40
her daughter Suri would be drawn deeper into its teachings determined to protect
20:45
her child Holmes executed what can only be described as a Hollywood style Heist
20:51
complete with disposable cellones and covert legal planning she filed for divorce in New York strategically
20:58
choosing EST state where she believed she had the best shot at securing primary custody of Suri the divorce
21:05
proceedings were a master class in swiftness and discretion wrapping up in just 11 days with holes walking away
21:11
with custody and reportedly a substantial Financial settlement since then Holmes has kept her lips sealed
21:18
about her experience focusing instead on raising her daughter and revitalizing her career her bold exit has been hailed
21:26
as a gutsy move to prioritize her and su's well-being cementing holes as a
21:31
real life heroine who managed to write her own happy
21:41
ending Steven Spielberg's concerns about Tom Cruz and Scientology Steven
21:46
Spielberg the iconic director of Jaws ET and Schindler's List found himself
21:51
navigating a unique challenge during the 2005 production of War of the Worlds Tom
21:57
Cruz's increasingly public association with Scientology in a 2005 interview
22:02
with the German magazine Dar Spiegel Spielberg addressed Cruz's controversial Public Image and his ties to Scientology
22:09
when pressed on whether Cruz's outspoken beliefs might impact his career Spielberg offered a more candid take
22:16
Spielberg's measured response reflected the tight RPP many in Hollywood Walk when working with high-profile Stars
22:22
linked to controversial organizations while Spielberg refrained from direct criticism his comments
22:29
hinted at concerns that Cruz's growing association with Scientology might overshadow his immense talent and
22:35
contributions to cinema the director's cautious approach underscores his reputation for professionalism and his
22:42
ability to navigate tricky relationships without jeopardizing creative
22:47
collaborations but as public scrutiny of Scientology has intensified in the years since War of the Worlds Spielberg's
22:54
subtle warning seems increasingly preent the tension between Cruz's undeniable
23:00
Charisma and the polarizing nature of his beliefs remains a topic of fascination with Spielberg's words
23:06
offering a rare glimpse into Hollywood's struggle to balance Artistry with public
23:17
perception the mysterious absence of Shelly miscavage The Disappearance of shelle miscavage wife of Scientology
23:25
leader David miscavage remains one of the most perplexing Mysteries tied to the church once a prominent figure
23:32
within Scientology shell hasn't been seen publicly since 2007 sparking
23:38
endless speculation about her whereabouts and well-being while the case doesn't directly involve Tom Cruz
23:44
it's impossible to ignore the connection as one of scientology's most high-profile members and a close
23:51
Confidant of David miscavage Cruz has faced questions about what he might know regarding Shell's Vanishing Act Leah
23:58
reminy ever The Fearless whistleblower has been a vocal advocate for investigating shelle's Disappearance in
24:05
2013 she even filed a missing person report claiming that the church was
24:10
actively concealing Shell's location although the LAPD closed the case
24:15
stating that Shelly was located and not in danger Skeptics including reminy
24:21
questioned the investigation's thoroughness and the church's cooperation for Cruz the speculation
24:27
surrounding Shell's absence adds yet another layer to the controversies tied to his association with
24:34
Scientology critics argue that his unique position within the organization gives him the power and perhaps the
24:40
responsibility to push for transparency yet Cruz has remained conspicuously silent on the issue a
24:48
decision that has only fueled further
24:57
criticism the Oprah couch jumping incident in 2005 Tom Cruz gave the world
25:03
one of its most unforgettable pop culture moments when he appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show what started as a
25:09
routine interview turned into a spectacle as Cruz grinning earto ear
25:14
giddy proclaimed his love for then girlfriend Katie Holmes the grand finale he jumped up and
25:21
down on Oprah's couch in what can only be described as a display of unbridled excitement or maybe caffeine overload at
25:28
the time some fans found Cruz's enthusiasm endearing a sweet albeit
25:34
intense Declaration of love but as the moment replayed endlessly on TV and
25:39
spawned countless parodies it became a symbol of Cruz's Larger than Life Persona and for some a sign that he
25:47
might be teetering on the edge of eccentricity in the Years following the couch jumping incident became a turning
25:54
point in Cruz's career once known for his carefully polished image this
25:59
over-the-top display added fuel to the perception that he was becoming increasingly erratic according to Seth
26:06
Rogan Cruz even confided in him that he believed the media had orchestrated a coordinated effort to make him look
26:13
unhinged by selectively editing the footage and amplifying the spectacle
26:19
whether it was a genuine Outburst of Love or a misstep under the public Spotlight the incident remains one of
26:25
the most talked about moments in Cruz's career
26:34
the covid-19 safety rant in December 20 the 20 as the world continued grappling
26:39
with the covid-19 pandemic Tom Cruz made headlines for an audio leak that could
26:45
rival any scene from Mission Impossible during the recording Cruz delivered a
26:50
fiery exploitive Laden TI raade at crew members on the set of Mission Impossible
26:55
7 who had violated the film's strict covid-19 safety protocols Cruz shouted
27:02
his voice brimming with frustration and Authority the Outburst wasn't just a scolding it was a full-blown action star
27:09
moment complete with dramatic pauses and enough intensity to make any villain Think Twice The leaked audio quickly
27:17
went viral dividing public opinion faster than a global supply chain shortage supporters applauded Cruz for
27:24
taking safety seriously and holding his team accountable especially given the challenges of filming during a pandemic
27:31
it's easy to see why Cru was on edge production on Mission Impossible 7 had
27:37
already been delayed multiple times due to covid-19 outbreaks and the stakes
27:42
were Sky High with millions of dollars and hundreds of jobs on the line Cruz's
27:48
frustration was understandable even if his delivery leaned more Angry coach than inspirational leader the incident
27:56
highlighted the immense pressure on film makers and A-list stars to navigate the unprecedented challenges of pandemic era
28:03
movie
28:10
production bizarre on set rules and behaviors Tom Cruz one of Hollywood's
28:17
most powerful and influential figures is as renowned for his intense work ethic
28:22
as he is for his Blockbuster stunts but alongside the action-packed explosions
28:27
and gravity it defying Feats comes a reputation for enforcing some rather strange and occasionally controversial
28:35
onset rules that have left many in the industry raising their eyebrows according to former
28:41
Scientologist and actress Leah reminy one of the oddest alleged rules on a cruise set is the prohibition of direct
28:48
eye contact with the man himself Yes you heard that right reminy
28:54
claims that crew members and staff are instructed not to look crew in the eye as a sign of respect for his elevated
29:01
status a directive she attributes to his high ranking position within the Church of Scientology this supposed rule has
29:08
fueled the Mystique surrounding Cruz's Aura of authority with some seeing it as a reflection of his influence both in
29:15
Hollywood and within the church while Cruz and his team have never confirmed the existence of this noi contact policy
29:23
the rumor alone has contributed to his reputation for maintaining m ulous control over every aspect of his onset
29:31
environment whether Fact or Fiction it's a story that fits seamlessly Into The
29:36
Narrative of Cruz as a larger than life figure whose work ethic and rumored
29:42
eccentricities keep him firmly in the spotlight do you believe the stories and rumors surrounding his personal and

Katie Holmes warned us much long before they divorced. Her smile, face features and shine were totally drained out after meeting this man.

The movie Top Gun was filmed on a carrier that had been out to sea and was coming back home after many months…the men had to stay out for two extra weeks….Cruise flew back to San Diego every night while these men who hasn’t seen their families for months had to stay out an extra two weeks…the other actors stayed on the ship out of respect to the sacrifice the men made. Never a thank you from Tom Cruise either. True story

Being a Cherokee Native combat veteran I've got to say thank you Mark Wahlberg for clapping back at any idiot, like Tom Cruise Mapother who thinks that making movies is tougher than fighting wars.
Look, as teenager in California just before enlisting in the military I had a few people trying to recruit me into Scientology, without success obviously since I spent 15 years in government service.
Those recruiters were really putting on the heat with my getting into Scientology. That turned me off completely.
Frankly, i think Tom Cruise Mapother is jerk and likes the power he's given by Scientology.
What a creep!

I worked with Katie Holmes father (hes a domestic attorney and damned good one) when he was the opposite on different cases for the domestic attorney I worked for as a legal secretary. He hated Tom from the beginning (this was YEARS ago when they first got married) because he recognized the controlling side of Tom & hated scientology. He was one of the few attorneys I worked for or with over the years who didnt treat me as an extra or as a woman to flirt with; he ALWAYS greeted me by name and treated me with respect.

Cruise is a long-time "practitioner" of Scientology. The only thing I needed to know about that is what I learned during a recorded interview with Charles Manson when he was still in prison; Manson quit Scientology because he said it was too crazy for him.

I have my own personal NO FLY LIST aka TOTAL BOYCOTT LIST. It's a list of celebrities that I refuse to waste one penny of my money to see. It's an ever expanding list. (I clicked on a video on my tablet and this one opened, I accidentally tapped this one otherwise I wouldn't have viewed this video. Apparently I need to clean my bifocals.) My list includes Tom Cruise, Willy the Bully Smith, Jane Fonda, Rosie O'Donnell, Meager Megan Markle ..... , Whoopi Goldberg, Bill Cosby, Ellen Degeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Miranda Lambert, Wendy Williams, Roseanne Barre, Mel Gibson, Alec Baldwin, Tiger Woods, Joy Behar - to name a few. All for various reasons. I realize I am nothing to them and I am positive they are less than nothing to me.

I’m surprised that people have to put Tom Cruise down. He should be judged only for his movies. Not for his personal life or his involvement in Scientology. However, I feel that he is still a lucky person to be where he’s at and he should be treated with respect for the things that he chooses such as his beliefs that’s his prerogative.

I think he's fantastic. He's incredibly successful. Perhaps you don't agree with some of his choices but the facts are the facts, his net worth speaks volumes as does his box office hits. He's a fantastic actor. It's unfortunate how people can get up so much hate for a person they don't even know. They need to tamp down their jealousy. It's weird.

To call Tom Cruise an actor is simply a joke. At best he's a circus act with a few moments of intensity, but that's all there is to it. He is certainly not at par with real actors such as Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Richard Burton, Christopher Plummer or Alan Rickman. People who knew and still know what true acting is all about and have shown it in many of their roles, and I am mentioning only those that came to mind at the moment, but there are many more worth mentioning.
He is just the product of our times: a construct of an industry that loves money, power and glamour and that's practically it.
Far gone are the days when one really had to display true talent and had to walk every step up the ladder to success. Today it's just the face that does it. It doesn't even matter if can speak your lines clearly, or if you can really immerse yourself into a role. No, all it takes is to look good, being athletic and move well, and whether or not you can express yourself in a certain manner is unimportant, as long as you can jump around like an ape.
I thought that in time he would grow out of his eternal puberty, but it appears that it does still stick to him like glue.
It's a sad and bad thing when an actor, or even an actress refuses to age gracefully and matures in time. Apparently this is not his primary concern. His only focus is on money and power.
How sad. And it also denotes a clear sense of inferiority in front of his own entourage.
It might not seem so at first glance, while he continues to exude overconfidence and broad smiles. But in my view, his smiles are just an act. In fact one might say that the only role Tom Cruise is really good at is playing himself.
I wonder why he never tackled the classics, such as a period play or a period movie, or even a serious Shakespeare adaptation.
He might be an action movie star, but stars fade in time, especially when they glitter too brightly in the firmament and what remains in the end are just fading memories of what was.
A wise and well experienced actor tends to modulate his own career at a certain point, modifying it to the passing of time and with his own aging, and therefore by choosing more suitable roles accordingly, but all this seems to elude Tom Cruise, who seems to want to get stuck to his old glories.
He is simply too attached to his mirror and still convinced that his looks will stay with him forever. But looks alone are not sufficient to compensate for old age, and he is indeed aging.
When will he ever wake up from his nightmarish dream of being the most powerful and influential person in Hollywood? Probably never. And by the way, he might think he is, but wait until another pretty face comes in and takes his place. What will he be then?
I don't think that all this Scientology crap has made him any wiser. Quite the contrary, here is once again the proof of his weakness. He needs to be part of what he thinks is something greater, and while doing that, needs the approval of people who in reality are manipulating him and not vice-versa, but even this doesn't seem to enter in his mind, so convinced he is that
this sect really sustains him.
He is a poor delusional character of a man. He probably faced some serious problems in his youth, probably a deep trauma from which he never seemed to have recovered.
This is also why he probably always and constantly defies death by continuing to practice highly dangerous stunts in his movies.
So far he has been fortunate enough, but one day luck will probably abandon him. What then?
Remember how Christopher Reeve ended? He was young, athletic and well trained, until one day, riding a horse, he had a bad fall and landed up paraplegic. Was it all worth it?
But in that case he was not practicing a stunt for a movie and that was just a freak accident he had, and yet his entire life changed abruptly, and so I believe will also Tom Cruise's life at some point. Maybe not through a similar accident, but there will be a time when his hay days of high adventures will be over.
Is he at all prepared for this? Does he even think about it?
One might say that he has earned enough money to retire quite comfortably and this may be true, but remember, he has always been a hyperactive guy, such people cannot just go to rest quietly, and this is why I ask once again, what will he do then?
Even assuming that he will continue as a producer or a movie director, might sound all nice and dandy, but it will never be the same as having been admired for his crazy stunts.
That's probably when it will finally sink in to him, that all the money and power do nothing to compensate what you once had.
Many such individuals land up into a very deep depression then and age miserably.
Personally I do not really care about personalities like Tom Cruise, because to me they are "empty shells" without a real soul or conscience, nor do they have what I would describe as that sacred flame that burns inside every true actor and which incites them to seek many different roles to develop their own thespian artistry.
Tom Cruise will always be just Tom Cruise and nothing else. A far cry from what it really takes to prove to people that he is a fully developed actor as those I have cited above.
He will go into history as the oddity he has always been, and as stated, a circus act. Nothing more and nothing less. I don't envy him at all.

Micky Rourok hit the nail on the head with his opinion of cruise. He cant act so he resorts to doing his own stunts in his movies even if it causes a toll on his body. As for John Travolta being jealous of cruise in the scientology cult from what is written about the "close relationship" between cruise and its leader Id say Travolta dodged a bullet there. Hes also much more multi talented actor than cruise. Pretty sure cruise cant dance. 😊

Having had my own experience with Scientology when our family was forced to pay money to the group to get my brother back when he was moved to a secure location for reprogramming, I think of them as more of a cult than a religion.
