A true point guard that could also mince through your defenses as he lures the defense towards him, making his reliable shooters open. A space creator that reads the opponent's offense as well, intercepting passing lanes. He's doing a little bit of everything. He wasn't a shooter but he was amazing at controlling a game and making the right decisions to make his team win. People who see his scoring stats and discount his impact don't understand his game and most lucky for him, the team. He was lucky to be a pass first game managing PG on a team with 3 offensive HOFers. With chasing that assist record series of John Stockton etc. That would have probably been his best season if he hadn’t get injured. Unlike some teams like the Warriors where they were getting titles already before Durant got there and started leeching off them. Rondo needed those vets to help him, and they needed him.
