Here are my views in a synopsis. Leading men like Gregory Peck and Tyrone Power were handsome once upon a time, but that type of handsomeness is passe today. Of the older lot, I will stick with Robert Taylor and Burt Lancaster. If they were young in today's world, they would have been highly relevant. The real handsome one from any time-frame is Paul Newman. Just look at him in that sailor outfit plus in films like From the terrace and Cat on a hot tin roof and you will realize that no one could match those looks. I also liked William Holden for his tough he-man looks, who could also be soft and endearing, depending on the character he portrayed. Monty Clift too was more than handsome but with an androgynous feel to it. He, nevertheless, was a superb actor. From the 50's guys, another top contender was Marlon Brando and no one can deny the charisma he exuded. My only fave among the new lot is Henry Cavill and I hope he succeeds in bagging the coveted James Bond role. Even when he appears for interviews, the thought that immediately comes to mind is 'Movie Star'. 3 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @kathleenschneider3498 1 day ago Charlton Heston ❤ 1 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @patriciabarbin1414 2 days ago Paul Newman, Gregory Peck, Jimmy Stewart, Clark Gable-actors 1 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @reeganfarah5013 12 days ago Paul Newmans charm hits diff every decade 😍 still crushin on him all these years later lmao 3 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @taylorn3i253 12 days ago Gregory Peck wasn’t just hot af…he actually seemed super decent irl too?? 3 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @gahowinifred6696 3 days ago Brando was such a badass both young & older, you feel his intensity through the screen lol Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @valoismickens1169 7 days ago You got Errol Flynn mixed up with Tyrone Power and you put Leonardo DeCaprio with James Dean. 2 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @aliyahdang6902 7 days ago Surprised no Errol Flynn mention here but still a solid top 10 fam! 1 Reply Fame Files · 2 replies @minnesotabanasiewicz9675 12 days ago It’s cool how u mention their souls & temperament too cuz beauty ain’t just skin deep frfr. 1 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @swaramerridy7905 3 days ago You can totally see why people still talk about them after all these years. Timeless appeal for sure! Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @kina7h6246 7 days ago Gregory Peck just different breed tbh 1 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @panchakscott4008 3 days ago These guys proved age don’t mean losing that allure—if anything they got more attractive with time! Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @suncochran1277 7 days ago Robert Redford should be included in the leading man of Hollywood 1 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @rosalindamadrid1521 6 days ago I don't know Matt Bomer 2 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @rosemariemann1719 4 days ago 8 mins, approx : Tyrone Power : he was very good in " The Razor's Edge " ,👍🌟 (The title is explained in the film.). 1 Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @vuongdaveigh6630 3 days ago Cary Grant will always be my definition of suave. No one even comes close these days tbh. Reply Fame Files · 1 reply @sylviarienzo6955 3 days ago As a high school student I saw The Wild One, followed by On The Waterfront and developed a major crush on Brando. I eventually outgrew that crush and didn’t particularly enjoy seeing him in later years. He drove me crazy with his constant movement, twitching, etc, all to call attention to himself. Disgusting. I never understood his appeal. And he wasn’t even all that good looking. Reply · 1 reply
